I had an amazing time at Spice Asian Kitchen. We went after work with coworkers and out of town partners for an evening of networking. We had an amazing experience. We ordered several appetizers from the dumplings to the egg rolls to the wings and to the Bao buns. Everything was amazing! I ordered the red curry with chicken and shrimp for my entrée and it was absolutely delicious. For my drink, I had the Japanese old-fashioned, which was amazing as well. Overall experience was 10 out of 10. The ambience was great. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend coming here.

The food was nice and tasty and reasonably priced and the service was quick. I will be returning.

A second trip back to Spice Asian kitchen resulting in a good dinner experience. The second visit required me to try something new. I was going to get this meal the last time so got it this time. It's the Kow Pow. from the walk, you get minced chicken, mushroom, bell pepper, cooked onion, Thai basil, some carrots topped with a fried egg and served on steamed rice. The rice is a white rice that actually came on the side so you could spoon it in as you saw fit. We did order a couple appetizers. The Rangoon crab dip was quite good. You don't get a lot of dip, but you do get a lot of chips. Overall, I thought it was OK. I like spicy, but this had an odd spice taste to it. Staff was still friendly. Place was still clean. Overall, the experience was OK.

This is one of my favorite asian places to eat! Everything is delicious! I mean everything!! My favorite is the crispy duck! There are very few places that serve it! We love the Roti with the curry sauce as well. The service is excellent! The ambience is lively! A bonus, they have a rooftop bar! Be sure to make a reservation and arrive in time to park and walk to the restaurant. This is a very popular area! You won't be disappointed!

Super delicious Bibimbap. We'll worth the visit!

Great rooftop bar with excellent service. Restaurant and food was well worth the visit!

This was my first time trying Spice! I got the Taco Trio with beef, shrimp and chicken. All three were seasoned really well but my favorite was the beef. The tacos came with a delicious sauce that drizzled over the top. The sauce took it to the next level. The service was good and fast. The restaurant has plenty of seating inside for a laid back casual vibe.

Spice is SOOOO yummy. I've tried several things on their menu, but their salmon poke bowl is my favorite. My husband's go-to is the green curry. The spice sodas are also really good (especially when you're pregnant and in need of a tasty mocktail) - my favorite is the strawberry mint. Highly recommend! It can be a little pricey, but the food is worth

We came on a Sunday around 2pm. We had the spicy tuna crisp and a sushi roll for the appetizer. The crisps were delicious! The sushi roll has good too but I liked the crisps better. I had the Bibimbap bowl. It could have used a sauce drizzled on or in it to make it more flavorful and add a little moisture to it but it was good still. I had leftovers and added some sauce to it at home. The service was great and the place was very clean and had a nice chill aesthetic. We were hoping to sit outside upstairs but it was closed until dinner.

I came here after a morning at Carowinds. We were so hungry and this hit the spot. I had pad Thai and I swear it was the best pad Thai I've ever had. We had the crispy tuna crisps and sushi as an appetizer - Both were very good. There was not an appetizer of kimchi and I asked if I could get a side of it and they accommodated that request. I also asked for pickled onions added to my pad Thai. They are very accommodating to extra requests. It was my wife's birthday and they brought out a chocolate peanut butter pecan brownie with ice cream. The service was great. I would definitely recommend this place if in the area.

I was in town for a conference and my hotel was just down the street. Spice Asian Kitchen has a great menu full of delicious choices. I ordered for pick up and then walked to the restaurant and had a drink at the bar while I waited. The people were friendly and my meal was ready much earlier than expected. The food was delicious and just as perfect to-go. I LOVED the Spicy Edamame (don't worry, they have a non-spicy version, too!). There is nothing better than Spicy Edamame, it reminded me of Hawaii! The Spice Fried Rice, was yummy and I added Chicken and Shrimp! I cannot wait to visit again on my next trip!

What are they trying to fuse with--McDonald's? The sweet and sour sauce seemed to be in everything. The bao buns were sweet and fried--completely missing the mark. The roti canai had an old lime sourness that was really off-putting. And most of all, why was the Szechuan chicken swimming in sour gravy? To be fair, the service was good, and the atmosphere was nice. If you're coming here for drinks, a salad, and a pleasant ambiance--or if you really love that sweet-and-sour flavor--you might enjoy it. As for us, we'll stick to places with more authentic dishes.

Spice Asian Kitchen is absolutely that spot. We came in for a chill vibe and good food, and they delivered way beyond that. Every single plate we ordered was fire--from the crispy wings with that sticky heat, to the scallops over glass noodles (so tender!) and tacos stacked with flavor. And let's talk about that crab dip with the wonton chips... elite. The drink game is strong too--my Old Fashioned was smooth and perfectly balanced, no watered-down nonsense here. The atmosphere is trendy without trying too hard (shoutout to the neon "SPICE" wall for the photo opp), and the service was just as on point as the menu. Highly recommend for date night, girls night, or honestly just because--it's that good.

Fresh as heck! Each item was so well flavored, so tasty, and tasted light/healthy rather than heavy/unhealthy. I know the name may dissuade people that can't handle spicy food, but the food is spiced meaning flavored, rather than spiced meaning spicy. This can (and will) be enjoyed by anyone with zero spice (heat) tolerance. There's a beautiful seating area that can be rented out upstairs, but downstairs is just as nice with high ceilings and candles at the tables (during dinner hours). Parking is available in the shopping center, both regular spots and parallel parking. They also have daily specials so check their menu! Lastly, the service was great as the waiter came over more than enough times to check in and fill water and politely ask if anything was needed.

Ask the Community - Spice Asian Kitchen

Do you need to make a reservation?

    No.

Do they have a kids menu?

Last time I ate here I did not see a kids menu, however they do have what they call small plates. Several of the items on the small plates menu would be a good choice for some kids. I would also make sure to ask about spice levels in these items as…

What cheese options are Available for the burger besides Gouda?

Hi Amanda, We have Gouda, Mozzarella, and Parmesan as our cheese selection.…

Is this a good place for kids?

If your kids are well behaved and have expanded palettes, then yes. However, I would not. It's more upscale and the food is more complex than most kids would care to eat.

The restaurant gave us BOTH mostly chicken to save on cost and there was barely any beef. See hubby's order and it is ALL chicken (WHICH SHOULDN'T EVEN BE IN THERE !) and just a couple of pieces of beef. In fact, when they brought it to the table, even the waitress thought it was chicken until the (manager?) pointed to some beef under the noodles. One: this should be on the menu as beef & chicken if they are going to do this. Two: this is deception. For this reason I took off a star from my last visit (which was 3 stars because their curry was like a soup instead of an entree - I didn't like it either.) The fried pork pot stickers ($9) were very good. Their chicken wings appetizer with Thai BBQ Sauce ($12) were very good. The Thai tea was good and served in a cute mug. We sat in a booth, which was nice. However, the table next to us had a huge hole in the seat of the material in that booth. My opinion is that the owner does not put effort into the food or the restaurant trying to save money. In my opinion, they are participating in deceptive practices by the substitution of chicken for beef dishes due to cost (see photos for evidence). The waitress was nice. I recommend going elsewhere for Thai food.

I ordered the Taste of Thai mixed appetizer and my husband ordered the hibachi chicken. Our food came out fairly quickly and everything was very good. The reason I am giving it one star is because after we looked at our bank statement two days later we realize that they had added on an extra $24.78 to the tip after the fact. Our total bill was $28.25. My husband left a tip of $8.75 (Over 30%) bringing our total that we paid to $37.00 but they charged us $61.78. I have added a photo of the price of our food from their website and also a screenshot of our bank app showing the $61.78 charge and the $24.78 reimbursement. A Cotswold Thai gem -- and save room for dessert!…read more I've been to Thai House before, but this visit was prompted by an American Airlines miles promotion combined with OpenTable points. Honestly, I'm glad it gave me a reason to come back! Located in Cotswold, Thai House has its own private parking lot, which makes getting in and out easy. I was warmly greeted as soon as I arrived, and the friendly, attentive service continued throughout my meal. I already knew what I wanted for dessert, so naturally I planned dinner around it. Priorities! For my entrée, I ordered the Pad Krapraw with chopped chicken ($17.95), a spicy basil dish loaded with chicken and vegetables. It was absolutely delicious, flavorful and generously portioned. There was easily enough to take home for another meal, which makes the value even better. Then came the real reason I had been saving room: mango sticky rice ($8.95). Oh, my goodness. Fantastic. The mango was cool and refreshing, the creamy coconut sauce was also chilled, and the sticky rice arrived warm. That contrast of temperatures and textures made the dessert especially delicious. Sweet, creamy, fruity, warm and cool all at once. I would come back for the mango sticky rice alone. Service was quick, genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. I also learned about a dine-in promotion where guests can purchase a frozen meal for $9.95 to take home for later. That's going on my list for next time. Authentic, flavorful Thai food, generous portions, friendly service, good value and its own parking lot. If you're in the Cotswold area and craving Thai, Thai House is absolutely worth a visit. The restaurant was busy but not overwhelmingly so, indicating the locals probably enjoy this spot. I was in the area and had a craving for pho and this was where Yelp led me. I'm a pho snob so I was a little surprised by how much I enjoyed the pho here. The broth was a little underwhelming at first, but once you add the chili oil and a touch of fish sauce, all of the flavors (the herbal essence and the beefy meatiness) came together beautifully. It hit the spot. I know it is a little short-sighted to rate this place according to just one dish, but it's what I have for you. That being said, my 4-star rating may change when I try other things on the menu the next time I come here. I normally like rating Thai restaurants by their green curry and pad thai -- so that is something to look forward to!! A few things that didn't really matter but they stood out. 1) They didn't bring out a plate of herbs for you to garnish your soup with. Instead, they added all the herbs into the soup before they brought it to the table. I get it. This is a rural area with little diversity so you want to simplify things for your main customer base. I also assume it is a waste thing. I always use up ALL of my herbs but I know most people don't . This way it saves on the waste. 2) The beef was cut chunky instead of sliced thinly like what's normal in a bowl of pho. At first, I thought it was carelessness or an oversight from the chef, but after a bite with the beef, broth, and the noodles all together, I am thinking it may be an intentional choice. With the beef pieces being bigger and chunkier, it preserves that super beefy taste. The one knock I have is my pho noodles we're all broken like I got the noodles from the bottom of the bag. It's not a huge deal. Just bad luck, I guess. Overall, good spot. Try it out!
