Chicken wrap, butter chicken & garlic naan.
    Vi N.

The food here is always so flavorful! It's clean, they are always friendly and welcoming. I love the chicken wrap & butter chicken here. It's always a must along with the rice and garlic naan. This time around my partner got the lamb and it was perfectly cooked. I am normally not a lamb fan because it has a stench to me. BUT their lamb was cooked so well that I was able to tolerate it. My only complaint is I wish the food was served hotter.

This is a small Indian restaurant in a locality where you may not expect to see one. This is part of the DK Market. It may not give you the best "first" impressions when you walk in. Even though it's a small place, they do have quite a few tables available for dine-in. The menu consists of variety of offerings. Appetizers, snacks, Wraps, Tandoori, Thali, Entrees, Biryanis, breads and beverages. We ordered Paneer wrap, Meat Thali, and chicken biryani. You have to place the order at the counter and the food will be served to the table. Also ordered a Mango Lassi as well. Service was delightful - very friendly staffs. The wait time was roughly 5-10 minutes. They served the Thali first. It had rice, naan, salad, kheer, couple of chicken curries and the tandoori chicken. The portion was really good. The food was delicious. Enjoyed the tandoori chicken - done to perfection. The wrap and the biryani came after that. Wrap is very impressive for it's portions. Lots of paneer tikka cubes, with rice, lettuce and sauces wrapped in a freshly made naan. Loved the wrap. Biryani is not the best one I had, but it was flavorful. It was served with Raita on the side; they gave more raita when we asked for. It was a very pleasant experience for us at Spice King. Really enjoyed the food and the warmth of the hospitality. It looked like more people come there for Uber / doordash orders - seen so many people picking up while we were there. Must be a popular place on those apps. No wonder why the hype! Food is great!

Ordered the chicken tikka level 3 spice and spinach na'an. I think they forgot my rice but that's okay. The chicken was tough and a little dry but the sauce was flavorful and super spicy. The mint chutney had a funny aftertaste and I ended up tossing it. The na'an was good, little soggy because I got it to go but not bad overall.

Located inside the DK Market, this spot is easy to drive past. Glad a co worker told me about it. There are a couple tables inside if you want to eat but I decided to get my order to go. I got the chicken tikka masala, jasmine rice, and some garlic naan. There is actually enough food to feed two people. The tikka masala was piping hot even after I got back to my work site. The flavor was fantastic. Dare I say, the best I've ever had. Yes!! The garlic naan was just fluffy and garlic flavored enough to not overpower my meal. I have to come back to try some other dishes. Don't sleep on this place. If you're near here, you gotta make a trip to get some real good Indian food.

I have been grocery shopping at the market here for years and always pass this restaurant by. Well, no more. We popped in today and were hit in the face with a wave of the most amazing smelling Indian food. Well lit clean, surprisingly large inside and smelling great. What else could I want? The menu is decently sized to cover all the flavors, proteins and size of appetite. We started with an order of veggie pakoras, and then both got a wrap with paneer and chicken. Also in the wrap was lettuce, peas, rice, and the best sauce. I don't know what it was exactly, but it was herby and thick and everything I could want. The wraps are massive. Like, as big as my face. I took half home for dinner (it was just as good cold, btw). The lady behind the counter was so nice, and very attentive to the space. She knew ingredients to everything made in house, which I greatly appreciate as someone who has to keep an eye out for allergens. This may be the next "must stop" when I am shopping and will surely be the newest addition to the "get something for the significant other also because they will smell it on you and you can't hide it" list.

The lamb Tikka masala is so tender and delicious! The vegetable pakoras were much more delightful than I had anticipated!

This is a small place with decent number of tables near the DK International Market. They have an order and sit-down kind of system. I loved that they checked on our preferred spice levels while taking the order. Paneer Naan - 5/5. Good amount of grated paneer filling. The kid relished it. Big portion too. Chole Bhaturey - 4/5. Huge portion size! It was delicious when had piping hot. Bhatura wasn't excessively greasy, the chole was spicy like I had requested. It was tasty no doubt, but not the best chole I've had. Goat biryani - 3/5. Decent biryani, nothing much to add. Tandoori chicken - 2.5/5. Served sizzling hot on a cast iron plate with some onions and peppers to compliment. The usage of food color was a turn off for me personally. The meat could've been more tender, it was on the chewy side specially the thigh pieces. Overall, this is a good place to satisfy your Indian food cravings. The prices are also very reasonable for the portion size.

Spice King is a nice place to stop by and get a bite to eat. I was pressed for time during my last visit so I just ordered a Thali and sweet lassie. Thali was fresh and had a good assortment. Naan bread was warm and very soft. The gal who took my order was super nice and let me substitute the Keer with a Gulab jamun because I was about to order some for a side anyway. The salad is kinda boring. Just shredded lettuce and ranch dressing. Rice was decent, kinda bland but that's fine- just mix it with the other side dishes. Spice King has always been clean inside and I've never had an issue with a dirty table. I just wish they'd bring back the full on dessert case.

The butter chicken and goat Karahi are my personal favs. Highly recommended aloo tikka chat or samosa chat. Garlic naan doesn't taste much different than the original naan.

I will say one of best Dal Makhni I had in states. Butter Naan was fresh and crisp . Always look for thickness of Naan . Less thick is more authentic . Malai soya chaap is my another favorite. Veg cutlet was flavorful. Ambience was too good . Good choice of interior. Washrooms were neat and clean Service was top notch . In fact the restaurant manager Akshay ( if I am correct) came to check about food quality and feedback. Manager is very knowledgeable . He told us how seriously they take the feedback. Definitely must visit Also it's close to lake Washington.

The entire restaurant was 80% full, but still the food and the service was super lazy. We went in at 9pm, and they close at midnight, so not even late into the night. Ambiance was just fine though we could see dirty floor and unclean tables. First server came immediately after we got seated and asked us if we are ordering food or not (first hint at their rudeness), but the second server was good. After we finished food, first server again came and asked us with straight-face- without even giving us a menu "are you ordering any dessert"? At the end the first server still came and expected a lot of tip, and showed a rude, non-interested face even when we tipped 15%. Now I am regretting why I tipped that much, when the service is so bad. This shows lack of training. Now coming to the food (important piece)- we ordered 4 things: 1) achari soya chaap - decently good, but there was no achari flavor in it. It was on a bland side as well. 3/5. 2) Malai Kofta - fully frozen. When we cut the kofta it was super cold and hard. The curry had some flavor but still cold, not at all fresh. 1/5. We asked for a replacement and it took them 20 mins to give us a new one and by that time we had already finished our naans. Even the new one was not good, though warmer than before. 3) Kadhai Paneer - again frozen one. Paneer pieces were soft but cold. Though the semi curry had good flavor to it. My assumption is that they took the frozen paneer and mixed it with previously prepared curry, without even cooking them up to infuse the flavors. 2/5. 4) Garlic & Bullet Naan - Both were really good, and we had asked them to be crispy and they were good crispy , so we liked them. 4/5.

We hired Naan N Curry to cater food for a wedding and the food was good. In the months leading up…read moreto the wedding, we liked and trusted the owner, and paid him to provide water dispensers for all our guests, because the venue did not have any. Naan N Curry also stated they would make a plan to get leftover food to our guests. The day of the wedding, less guests arrived than were anticipated. Despite having paid for food in anticipation of 240 people, perhaps closer to 160 showed up. Around 9pm, the caterers left without communicating with us; no food nor water remained, and the plates, silverware, and cups that we had purchased and brought to the venue ourselves, were no where to be found. That Naan N Curry took the water when they left created a near-crisis situation, because it left us with with only a water fountain to hydrate 160 thirsty guests. While we understand they were required to work within contracted hours, we cannot grasp why they took our 300 cups which we could have used to mitigate the water problem. Their failure to communicate their departure prevented us from addressing the water issue proactively. Additionally, we did not understand why there was no food left if we had ordered food estimated for 240 people, and only 160 showed up. After the wedding, we followed up with the owner of Naan N Curry and visited the restaurant to recover the plateware, napkins, cups, and utensils which were intended for our wedding. When asked about the missing food and water, he provided a several explanations: 1) that he had not taken any food back and there was none left; 2) that he had communicated with our families about leftover food when leaving; 3) that guests took 3-4 plates and ate all the food, despite the lesser guest count; 4) that a worker hired by me had thrown food out; and 5) that guests had taken food home, despite the fact that no takeout containers were provided to take food home in. While we are trusting in nature, I am an investigator by profession, so I followed up for testimonies from our guests. My inquiries with more than a dozen guests and workers found that: 1. Workers and guests deny eating or seeing any others eat 3-4 plates; some state that they were turned away from having seconds. 2. Workers and guests became aware that Naan N Curry had leftover food, including "in the back," close to their time of departure 3. Workers and guests attest to Naan N Curry packaging up leftover food and bringing it back to their van 4. Workers and guests deny throwing out any trays of the food at any time. 5. Workers and guests deny taking or seeing others take food home 6. Workers and guests deny that Naan n Curry informed anyone of their departure, and that they only became aware of the water situation after they had left us with no water and no cups. The issue here is one of principle: We paid for food for 240 people, and offered the Owner the opportunity to explain how there could possibly be no leftovers, when merely 160 people showed up. However, he could not articulate a credible reason. As a caterer of 20+ years, his assertion that the food purchased was only sufficient for merely two thirds of the anticipated guests, cannot be believed, unless he were inept. I don't believe he is inept, and I believe his explanations are disingenuous. At best, the water issue is an enormous oversight, and at worse, negligence. We never were given an explanation why Naan N Curry took our plateware, cups, and utensils. We are aware that his crew also took another vendor's table clothes. We have been allowed to recover our goods post-wedding, though the question remains why did he take these items in the first place? When we confronted the owner about the above issues, he blamed our friends, our workers, and us. We had liked him quite a bit, and found him to be paternal and kind, so this was all upsetting. Perhaps even an apology or honest discussion would have sufficed to settle the score. However, after all this, we can only conclude that we've been ripped off for thousands of dollars.
