This is pretty decent Peruvian restaurant in a strip mall. You can dine-in or carry out. There's about 12 tables available and a few seats available on the wall. I tried the lomo saltado. The steak was okay, but some pieces were a bit too chewy. It had a pretty good flavor, but could've used more onions. The service is pretty quick and the staff is friendly. Best, most consistent Peruvian chicken place in the area. The chicken is amazing and fresh. Yucca is always crispy and never stale. Onion salad, which I made fun of my wife for ordering, is one of my favorites. Bright and delicious. Chicken and cheese sub - soooo good, but real greasy so just know that. But it's awesome. I went in for lunch around 3-4pm on 04/09/24. I went in for a usual quarter chicken with a side of fried rice and french fries and all was well. As I start digging into my rice, I find 3 strands of hair tangled in the rice. I immediately lose my appetite and advise the employees on my findings. They looked me dead in the face and did not say a single word. No apology, no refund, no new plate. I went back to sit down hoping they would come over and say or do something but they just stayed huddled up laughing in the back and looking at me. I had barely touched my food and felt so angry that they didn't even acknowledge my concern on bit. I went to them nicely as I didn't want to alert anyone else eating around me as to what I just found, and to just be standing there and not even be given an apology?? It was super unprofessional of them. I have came to this location many times and it for sure will be my last. Lunch was ruined and money wasted. Please learn how to treat your customers and find solutions when things happen! FYI: Please tell the cooks to wear hair nets please!! I was so immensely impressed by the chicken from here this evening, I'm actually reviewing the same night. This never happens! We were feeling like Peruvian tonight, and I found this place on Yelp. We decided to give it a shot and do takeout. We ordered a whole chicken, Yuquita Balls, White rice and pinto beans, plantains, and yucca fries. Everything was really well done. Even something as plain as rice and pinto beans - it was so tasty and comforting. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy on the inside. The yucca was really good. I can only imagine that it's great when you dine in because it tasted when brought it home. The yuquita balls were so yummy - smashed yucca with a blend of melted cheeses - honestly, who wouldn't love that? I only wish I had pics but we inhaled the food! New place and they are working out the kinks. If you order online for pickup, don't pay attention to the message you get to text the business when you arrive. They don't have that worked out. The chicken was great. Mac & cheese is a pass, but had to try it. The Pollo Saltado was unfortunately had dry and grainy chicken. The sauces were da bomb. Yucca fries were doughy, but they still disappeared from the plate when dipped in those sauces. A combo of the spicy green sauce and the yellow sauce is pretty perfect. 4 stars given not for the food, but for the effort in getting a business off the ground. I had the worst experience at this place. I had order 2 1/4 chicken meals and a cheese quesadilla with two sides. I told the cashier that I only wanted a cheese quesadilla, he kept repeating that it had chicken and I told him no its for a vegetarian. I received my order and it didn't have my quesadilla. I looked over my receipt and saw that I had been charged for an extra 1/4 chicken and 14.99 for a chicken quesadilla. I called up to the store and told them about the error and they said they would fix it they knew I had just left from there. When I got there they refused to give me a refund for the extra food when I was just there and I decided not to get a $15 quesadilla with just cheese. He was rude, was making faces as if we were bothering him. We asked him a question and his response to not hearing us was "what" in the rudest tone! We were going to get two $15 chicken and cheese subs. Because of the cashier's rudeness we decided to go buy a pack of chicken and cook it ourselves for much less!
