Customer service was horrible. I use to other a lot back in the day. The manager (Lady) did not appear friendly at all! No smiles hello or anything! Prices were sky high! Avoid this car wash. On April 23rd, they broke the tire valve stem sensor on my elderly mother's car. Not only did they refuse to take responsibility, but they also forced her to pay for a $200 repair and a tow to Les Schwab. Since then, the owner and manager have been "unavailable" every time I call or visit. Terrible customer service and a lack of basic accountability. I recently decided to give Splash Car Wash another try after a disappointing experience there about 10 years ago. I was hopeful that things had improved over time, but unfortunately, I was once again let down. I purchased their $60 package, expecting a more detailed and thorough service. Sadly, the vacuuming was incomplete -- the trunk wasn't vacuumed or cleaned at all -- and my rearview mirrors still had noticeable water stains. It really felt like whether you pay for a basic wash or spend extra for a more detailed service, the end result is pretty much the same. What's even more disappointing is that this is one of the only full-service hand washes in the area. I truly wanted to support a local business, but at the end of the day, I would rather drive a little farther to get the quality and attention to detail that should come with a premium package. 3rd generation Fontana resident. Been going to this car wash even before it was Splash. Last time we asked for the wash and wax. The wax was sprayed on the car and left in the sun. The chemical in the wax dried into the paint and damaged the surface so bad. It was immediately visible and brought to the attention of the staff cleaning the car. They told us that the marks were caused by the sun and that they were not responsible. We were very disappointed that they refused to own up to their mistake. You can see many yelp reviews here and most say the same thing, that their cars were left in the sun after the wash leaving water marks. Imagine having wax on the car and baking in the sun? The car had to be re-buffed, with rubbing compound and polished. This did NOT get rid of all the streak marks. Even a wet sand and buff would not get rid of the streak marks. We didn't think it was worth the time and effort to claim the car wash so we felt an honest Yelp review was enough to warn everyone out there to watch their cars after being washed to make sure they are quickly dried off, or polished in the shade. Will we be going back? Sadly, no. We will go to a wash service that dries their cars under canopy. read more

I visited this business this morning to have my car washed...I chose the $50 deal that they suggested...just as I was leaving, it started to rain and my car was dirty...I called a few hours later and the man who answered the phone first offered to clean the car the next day and then he pretended to have a bad connection and hung up on me...my suggestion is to NEVER get your car washed here, these people are not consumer friendly at all... read more

First time trying out this car washing place and first time getting the car detailed here. Hand polish with clay. It took about 2 hours. The place is small and a lil old but the staff are nice. They sell water, ice cream and snacks. The overall wait for most cars was a good 20 minutes. There's Walmart and nail places across the street you can walk to if you find yourself bored and have time to kill. They did a great job!!!!!!!! As soon as I pulled up the staff was very friendly and joe assisted me and gave me a great deal for a good wash inside and out. The guys who washed my car were great and the lady Paola & Luvia who cleaned my car inside did an amazing job and was on it .. I can tell they are hard workers Definitely recommend this place . I waited 30+ mins and the back seat still had crumbs and a piece of a wrapper visible on the seat, bug splatter on the windshield was not all gone, the rims were still dirty, and the roof was too. I've gone before and I've never had any complaints. But they way they left my car was unexceptionable. They did not wipe dow anything. It seemed like they applied wax on top of the dirt/dust. I had some liquid in the center of my council and they did not even wipe it up. I paid $40 to basically get my car watered down. Please save your money and go elsewhere or do it yourself. read more

Took my car today for a car wash, ended up getting my AirPods stolen !! Unfortunately, I Didn't realize they were missing until I got home. I called to confront them, as I knew 100% that they went "missing" after I left this place. Spoke to a women in the phone and told her to ask the women and man who cleaned my car if they happened to have seen or took my AirPods...she said all employees were gone for the day & that I would have to speak to manager who was also not there & immediately hung up on me. I called again and "Jo" answered, who also played dumb for a few minutes and eventually confessed saying "oh someone just turned in some AirPods!, when can you come get them?". It's currently 9:30, I got here at 8:45 and my car is still sitting out front waiting g to be finished with the car wash. It's upsetting that they can't streamline a process to ensure that the customers are serviced in a timely manner. I can see and confirm with 100% positivity that several cars that arrived AFTER my car were serviced before mine. This is upsetting to say the least. When you make an effort to get here early to avoid this exact situations do the employees just make it worse. Just give me half my money back and I'll take my business elsewhere. The older man with a skin disorder is rude and very anger. I paid $90 for an interior clean which should include the following: --the mats should be wash --the seat beats should be cleaned --the leader seat should be clean and condition. I Urbered home because I was told it would take 2 to 3 hours. I received a call the car was done. I Urbered back to the car wash. The seat belts were not washed, the mats were dipping wet. The owner told me his workers do not understand English, and there will be no refund for the parts of the job which was not completed. This car wash is amazing ! The workers here are so sweet and really pay attention to detail I have a bright blue jeep and scratches and stuff always pop up on my bright colors. The workers here made my car sparkle and shine like no other for a great price! Will be back soon !! read more

The quality of service has greatly decreased over time. This used to be the ONLY place I got my car washed at. Time after time, I've noticed that there's left over water marks on my car. Last time, they completely forgot to wipe my dashboard down. This time, I have left over bird poop on my hood, new scratches on my driver side and they just completely avoided vacuuming under the carpet in my trunk. They even forgot to spray my interior with New Car Scent, the most standard practice in car washing! Are workers here not paid enough? Is that why the quality of service is awful? I try to be a generous tipper, especially because the workers here are Hispanic and so am I. I understand the effort of their hard work, but this is just down right awful. I won't forget when I came 40 minutes before closing and no one bothered to let me know they weren't accepting any more vehicles, just simply waved at me as if I'm supposed to immediately understand what that means. Was disappointed with my visit to Splash "car spa" today (please consider changing your name, nothing about this place is a spa-like experience). I came here looking to get an interior detail, I'd seen one advertised for $80. The attendent said they no longer offered the $80 package (even though it is clearly still advertised on their marketing ticket to claim your car). When I asked her how much it would be she couldn't give me a straight answer, nor could she show me where the current prices were displayed (she said the prices displayed at the cash register were last years prices). I decided on the $16 wash (it's an upgrade from the base with fragrance ). I got there at opening on a Thursday so the wait wasn't long at all. It took about a half hour for a different attendent to return my car to me. I immediately checked the vacuuming and I noticed a lot of debris leftover. I Informed the guy it needed to be re-vacuumed, there was A LOT of debris left in the carpeting still. He said OK, just to go speak with the cashier. (Who I am now assuming might be a manager). She drove my car back over to the vacuuming area and attended to my car personally. She rewiped down areas of the car (I guess the carpeting wasn't the only hasty job done) and re-vacuumed. She spent maybe an additional 5 minutes on my car. After having it vacuumed twice, there was STILL debris in the carpeting (maybe Splash needs to invest in some new equipment that will service their patrons properly?). The cashier\manager (?) Said it was because I need mats in my car. I know this is not the case because I normally go to Matts $5 Car Wash in Rialto and vacuum my car myself, and do a much better job. However I am 38 wks pregnant and wanted to take it easy today. Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience. The exterior was cleaned decently. If you are looking for a quick and mediocre car wash, you can try them out, just be prepared to check your car afterwards (it may need to be done twice). If you are looking for quality work for your car, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! PS. I couldn't smell the fragrance, think they forgot it. read more
