I took my car in yesterday Oct25 for a Hand wash and I had a envelope with my money I had just taken out of the bank also my card was inside (diddnt think too much of leaving it due to I've been coming here so I trusted the place because I have left money multiple times) but when I get my car back it's no longer there mind you I tell the cashier to let the ppl know to put the envelope somewhere safe and I get my car and it's no longer there ! I've given this place so many chances. Even took the time to speak with the manager instead of posting a bad rating. Paying a monthly fee and having lousy service each time is no way to keep customers. On top of that I had another family member take a car and they spent $45 including wheels. Maybe two swipes of a cloth to them and they let them pull away with the tires looking barely cleaned. No one is watching. I will say that the employees are nice and they seem to be working hard. I stopped by Splash today to get a wash after all the storms we have had. I got in the full service line and was floored when I saw how much a full service wash was.....$36. At that price I realized my car better come out looking new....or at least as good as my home washing. The greeter tried to get me to sign up for the monthly unlimited plan - maybe then if I went often enough the price would be more reasonable. Now, it was busy. However, you can't skimp on quality of service when it is busy. When my car came out and was dried staff let me know when the car was all set...then they disappeared to the next one. I should add I had my 7 month old baby with me. I looked and realized that the rims on my car were barely touched....for a $36 wash I should be able to floss my teeth looking at them. The car also had an odd odor...at first it smelled like cigarettes but after some time the smell came from dirty, damp towels. Needless to say, I had to re-clean my rims when I got home. The car wash was not worth $36...it was more like a $15 car wash. read more

Just lousy. I have taken my car here for a few years but I'm done! The service has been on a steady decline. I took my car in on Monday and the interior barely looked like it had been vacuumed there was still dirt under the carpets and on the door jam. The windows were incredibly streaky which didn't show up until I drive away and the sun came out. I've had to take it back the last 2 times that they have washed it so I am done with Splash Update: after voicing my concerns management at Splash Car Wash reached out to me to address the issues. I was told that they would speak with the manager at the Shelton location. I was given a free wash coupon in an effort to make the situation right. I am happy to say that I did try this location again and the results were very good. They vacuumed so thoroughly that they found a missing umbrella and ear cuffs that I had lost at some point in time. The car was cleaned well inside and out! There were a couple of very minor streaks on the windshield that I cleaned with a paper towel later when I noticed them. I am happy that the company is responsive to customer issues and that they make necessary changes to improve the quality of their service. I am a Splash customer once again! read more

Listen, I know I didn't pay for a detail but when I get back into my car and can visibly see crumbs that are easily able to be vacuumed, that's a problem. very disappointed in the exterior wash. Dirty spots were missed and my vechicle came out approximately 70% wet and I had to use 3 large towels to dry it. Thinking possibly the dryer air was not working properly so I decided not to go back to this location. The following week I tried the Splash car wash at North and Madison ave which I experienced the same issue with my vechicle not air dried and had to towel dry my car again. Other car wash's that I have used, you can just drive away with the car being 90% -95% dry. Very unhappy with the service! read more

I've been using this car wash for about 7-8 months, my vehicles, my wife's vehicle, and they actually send few people there as well which I really would not do ever again! Definitely wouldn't go there with a nice car or a newer car, brushes scratched up my wife's car that's two years old and of course they are not taking responsibility for that, they just making excuses and yes explanations for it, but there are visible signs of damages/scratches that were not there before. Besides that, their "detailing" it's just overpriced and not worth it, I brought my car and they charged me $190 but still at the end I found hairs in the car, leather seats still dirty, some of cupholders had to be clean again because they just skip them, fabric floor mats were not even clean just vacuumed-which to be honest you can do it by yourself for just go pay 20 bucks and they will clean it inside out for you elsewhere. But those who have some older cars and they don't care much-good luck, go on your own risk. SIMONIZ Triple Foam Polish SIMONIZ Clearcoat Sealer SIMONIZ Tire Shine SIMONIZ Wheel Brite Undercarriage Wash Express Exterior Wash Towel Dry It doesn't even look like I went through a car wash at all. The rims were filthy, tires not shining. The Wheel Brite clearly doesn't work. I question wether the under carriage even gets a cleaning. My wife brought our 4-year-old car there for an "interior detail". The car had kid's barf stains, butter!? stains, food, dirt, grease, and 4 years worth of ground in beach sand! I had no expectation for them to really get this car clean but just wanted to shut my wife up about how dirty we all made "her car"! Low and behold, somehow they made it look like NEW! They even got the butter stain out! I honestly have no idea what they did and I don't care! My wife is ecstatic with the results! They washed the exterior too which is just gravy at this point. I only went here one time in early 2019. Since that time there has been 2 separate times where they all of a sudden start charging my card for monthly service. The first time I went into the office and the guy looked it up and said that I was all set. .. The charges kept coming. I had to cancel my CC and report fraud. Brought my 2017 ram 1500 today for a car wash. I purchased the wheel express Package. They had to run my truck through the car wash twice because there hand car wash left soap all over my truck. Furthermore, they didn't dust my dash, vacuum or clean my windows. The undercarriage wash was a joke and only did half the truck with very low pressure. since I purchased the tire package my expectation was that they were going to clean the tires and rims. However, that didn't take place either and when I said something to one of the employees because I didn't speak English. They just smiled and waved me goOd bye. Came to get the carpet express. The attendant convinced me to add a few extra services (even though I declined twice) and insisted the waiting time would remain the same. While I was fine paying more money than originally anticipated, I didn't appreciate the blatant lie on the timing (which in hindsight was obvious). I ended up waiting 90 minutes for the car, when the website clearly indicates I only would have waited 20 minutes for the carpet express. So I couldn't decide between full service or just an exterior and a little elbow grease on a beautiful day...until I saw the prices. I proceeded to pull into the express lane, where I sat, and sat, and sat...no cars around, and an attendant in the wash bay that'd occasionally look at me, but I sat. A gentleman who I believe was named Jorge finally appeared and said " I see you got some dust build up on your tires...you want the full wash?" I said " nah, I can clean the wheels" to which he replied "then what you want" I said " the express, he returned " with the wheel cleaner?" I said "no, the 7.99 wash". Worst experience of my life. Not just as a car wash just in general. I pulled into the express lane. The young woman took my card and put it through. She told me to put the receipt on my dash and pull up to the right. Retrospectively, she either misspoke or meant her right, but I was on the wrong side of the track. A supervisor named Walter comes over and starts screaming. Literal screaming. Now he is telling me to pull forward, the girl is telling me to go left. I'm not convinced I'm safely aligned with the track. You would think they'd provide these instructions first, but no. I tell them I do not want them to proceed. I don't feel safe and I want to speak to a manager. Walter, who again was identified as a supervisor, began to scream at me to the point I was in tears. He shoved his face in my car window swearing at me. Took out his wallet and tried to give me money and told me to go away and never come back. The manager finally came out and was apologetic, but I was so shaken by my experience with the alleged supervisor that I am genuinely considering filing a police report for the way he threatened me and tried to give me money that was not only inappropriate but less than the cost of service. read more

No one should go to this service. I went to get interior detailing. When I came back to pick up my car the service person said they cleaned my engine for no charge. This was never requested. When I turned on the engine the air bag light was on and would not turn off. This never happened before. Got done $17 "The works" car wash, not happy with the wash! The bugs stain on the front bumper wasn't washed at all! And as per the wash, the tires were supposed to get wash/shine, and some wax coat etc, that dint happen. It appeared to be a regular water wash. No one to monitor the quality of service. Wife dropped off her 2011 Subaru at 9:00am during a weekday to get the inside cleaned after my son had gotten carsick the day before. The place was not busy so she was taken right away. The entire job should have taken 40 minutes, tops. They kept the car for almost THREE hours?! Ok, the promised update is live.: A couple days after my bad experience, I received a call form "Bert" who asked me about my experience. I laid it all out for him, and he offered to completely REDO the detail. For free. Keep in mind that this is a $200 service that takes several hours to complete. Let's recap: REDO. Free. What can I say....I'm in! I dropped the ol' '64 off on Saturday and toddled on over to Wal-Mart, which seemed like the most logical place to wander around in the A/C for a few hours. When I got back, I was met by "Berto" (same guy that called, but that's what was on his shirt), and he showed me everything that they did. Wow! My car hasn't looked THIS GOOD since my dad owned it! Everything was cleaned, washed/waxed...even the spare tire was looking great. Fast-Forward one week: I drop off my Jeep for the same service, but this time, I'm not gonna have to worry about a phone call, or taking it back for a redo. Everything was spit-shined to perfection - except the running boards, because they'd be slippery and my clumsy ass would certainly take a tumble. Faded black plastic was once again a deep, vibrant black, scratches (and there were a few doozies) were all but invisible. They really earned the 5-Star name of the detail. I will absolutely be back, for future detailing as well as a monthly wash subscription. p.s. "Spit-Shined" is a term we use in the military, no actual spit was used in the cleaning of the vehicle. Staff very unfriendly and rude. The minute I pulled up they try to upsell me on something I didn't need. The lady was very upset I didn't want to upgrade and gave me a bad attitude. Pretty much told me it wouldn't be as good as a cleaning and did a poor job vacuuming and rushed it through the prep stage. Cashier was on his sell phone and made me wait. He also tried to upsell me on monthly plan and when I told him I was from out of town he was rude and didn't even talk to me after that. I felt I interrupted his call. Very rude and crappy results. Extra slow, talking to each other and not working on the cars. My car came out before another car, and they started working on that car before mines. My car just sat in the sun getting water spots. Finally, after their powwow, they noticed my car and decided to finish it off. This is why I don't tip! I can guarantee when I get in my car the mats were just thrown in. I give this place a chance time and time again. I go every month or so and every single time they never clean the inside back window of my car. I always have to point it out. I am tired of them not being thorough on cleaning my car.
