First, this place is in a strip mall and may not be easy to spot; second it's small, and despite their efforts to jazz up the interior with themed seating areas, it has a very take-out sort of vibe; and third, there are other things on the menu that I'm guessing they offer because of their proximity to RIT, but take my word for it - stick with the Turkish items and you will not be disappointed! Our order included the 'sucuklu yumurta', which is basically eggs with Turkish sausages served in it's own metal pan, plus the bagel plate, and I had the 'tray' (the name of which I cannot remember) which came with hard boiled eggs, fruit, cheese, tea, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and a roll. It was almost exactly the breakfast we had every morning in Turkey, except the fruit we had there was fresh and here it was a kind of preserve. The portions may seem a little small, but prices are very good, and I would definitely recommend getting more things than you think you need just so you can try more and ensure you will leave satisfied. I liked the service. I loved the food. Having greatly reduced the amount of salt I add to my cooking, I noticed a heavy hand in the catfish batter and in the potatoes. Since I had one more day left in Rochester and The Toast Factory was close to my hotel, I stopped in again for chicken and waffle. This scored 100 out of 10. The batter on the chicken wings was just right, not salty and not bland. The waffle was not sweet. This is a menu item I will plan to order whenever I return.

Folks kept coming in and saying they hadn't had a server visit their table yet despite being there for 20+ minutes. Which my parents and I were witnessing from watching out the window. When we were able to order, they were out of all of their specials and some of their key dishes which was quite frustrating. Our food took a while, but it was clear at this point that they were understaffed, so it was understandable. However, when our food was delivered, the food runner let us know they were out of silverware?? I ordered a garbage plate and my dad had a salad with his meal... certainly not finger foods. After a few minutes our server realized what happened and told the food runner to wash some silverware and bring it out to us. Such a bizarre situation. The food was good, but didn't make up for the environment of the evening. There was not a manager in sight to assist, coach, or help troubleshoot. And our server had to double as the bartender while also covering all of the tables inside, which filled up throughout the night.
