The pleasant service cannot make up for the mediocre, bland and extremely overpriced food. The french onion soup lacked the caramelized onions and the bit of crust bread had only a dab of melted cheese. The chop salad was chopped so finely that it could be eaten with a spoon. The ingredients, if any other than iceberg lettuce and bits of lunchmeat, were not visible. The Cordon bleu wrap had tender chicken but that was its only plus. Bread pudding was ok but shape and slices made it appear pre-processed. The worn entry, interior of carpeted floors, mix-match used furniture and low lounge lighting needs a total refresh. Arrived into Sedona and wanted to grab an early lunch. Judi's opens early and it did not disappoint. The two of us split the Shrimp Cocktail and the Sedona Chicken with a side of sweet potatoes. Loved they leave a craft of cold iced tea table side. Excellent serve and delicious sandwich! read more

On a recent trip to the Grand Canyon, my husband, daughter, and myself had seen an ad for Judi's Restaurant in Sedona. This was an absolute delight. Quiet, and cozy, extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Online their description of home cooking from scratch didnt come close to describing the food. Our dinner began with warm bread, with both dipping oil and herbs and butter. My husband chose the walleye,my daughter the chicken piccata, and i had prime rib. Each one was cooked to perfection and tasted deliciously flavorful. We had Michele as our server, who was beyond attentive and graciously saw to our every request. After hearing upon arrival that we had spent all afternnon at the Grand Canyon she keep the water cold and plentiful. The dessert​ menu was full of wonderful choices of homemade ice cream and pies. To celebrate the end of our trip and my daughters upcoming birthday, we decided to splurge and sampled both the homemade pistachio ice cream, pecan pie, and vanilla bean ice cream. No disappointments there. The taste was sweet and fabulous. Exactly the right end for the great meal. If you are in the Sedona area don't hesitate to stop by for a treat you won't want to miss. We've been here for 30 years and the food is definitely not what it used to be. The waiter was very nice and accommodating. Two very small pieces of cod that were smelly with mushy breading. This is one of our very favorite restaurants in Sedona. The food is absolutely delicious. My favorite is the Wally fish and my husband just loves their burgers and sweet potato fries. Their wine selection is wonderful, and if you like dessert, all of their desserts are from scratch and heavenly, particularly the bread pudding with rum raisin sauce. The atmospehere is so special here - cozy and warm, with fireplaces in both rooms. If you're here around Christmas time, the declarations are prettier and more festive than anywhere in town. There's a reason so many locals make this their regular spot. The owner, Alice, has been working at this restaurant for over thirty years. She is just about the kindest person you'll ever meet. This place is AMAZING. If you want old school, good food and intimate service this is the place. It is what Sedona used to be. We really wanted something outside of the hipster California-investor-owned restaurants and this is definitely it. After Covid hit, so many high profile people came in and bought all the cool places, yet this place is still standing. Maybe it's because they legit gave away toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and masks (with their food) just to keep going for their regulars. That's dedication. The decor is unique and cool , which makes the ambiance cozy and the people who run this place are INCREDIBLE. There are definitely local patrons who are favorites, but they treat the newbies just like the OGs. And the "locals" are sweet and welcoming. I just love this place. For eats I recommend the homemade soups, fall-of-the-bone ribs and the people around us seemed to come for the "fish and chips". The desserts are ridiculously good. SO GOOD. I walked from my hotel one night just to get one. I have been to Sedona only 5 times but this is BY FAR my favorite place. I highly recommend having a drink at the bar (or a few?) and getting some food to-go with a blanket or some chairs and seeing the sunset at the Sedona scenic airport outlook. I think it's like $3 to park. Perfect day. Legit...perfect day. This place makes me want to come back. It's 100 percent - a happy place. Thank you Andre and Mama. Great local restaurant; seems like locals come here; clientele is a bit older in general. Hostess was very personable and waiter was good. Appetizers are listed on the cardboard placard on the table. There is a parking lot and parking was easy. Restaurant is dog friendly when patio is open. We came for the prime rib special ($31 for 8oz, $38 for 12 oz) but learned the prime rib was made on Friday and on Saturdays they grill the leftovers. We were not interested in that. We ordered the whole rack of ribs w waffle fries. Delicious! Ended up eating the whole thing! Meat fell right off the bone. Big winner ! Next up, one of us had the liver and onions w rice pilaf. The liver and onions was great! Thin piece but big enough for dinner. The rice pilaf was dry. I'd suggest a different side. Mashed potatoes aren't a choice. Lastly, one of us had the chicken parm. We had read a lot of good reviews but this was our least favorite dish. Sauce was a bland. The chicken was good but left most of the pasta. Wouldn't recommend the chicken parm. read more

Don't let the outside of the building fool you! Judi's features quaint, charming decor inside, excellent service, and delicious food. We visited after hiking Seven Sacred Pools on the Solider Pass Trail with our 4 kids. Kids and adults found things they liked on the menu. Fried zucchini, burgers, cubano sandwich (special for the day) Mac n cheese, chicken strips, fettuccine, and carrot cake were amazing after burning so many calories. I asked when he was going to make it again and he said he would make it the following week per my request and he did! He made it and served it to me this evening. It is even better than I remembered it before. He makes it now and then as a special for the evening. Although everything is good here and service and friendly staff makes it even better.
