My daughter Sofia had her first haircut here around August 1st with Hannah and loved it! She's extra particular as her step sister that lives in Houston in a hair stylist and has only received haircuts by her, her whole life. Now that she lives here, I think she found her new salon! HOWEVER I tried this place out with Hannah and was truly disappointed with my haircut and experience. I went to Hannah just before my birthday trip to Vegas and had bad hair days the entire time. I'm really terrible when it comes to my hair. I regularly go 4-5 months between cuts, since it's normally tied up in a messy bun. Eventually, I catch a glimpse in the mirror of my splint ends and go yikes - time for a cut! Last time this happened I made the very unfortunate decision to get a Groupon and try out a random stylist. It. Did. Not. Go. Well. I'm talking noticeable different lengths, huge chunks of hair cut out, a complete mess. I booked an appointment at Spoleti and headed down for a miracle fix. My appointment was with Gabby (late last year) and she let me know to fix my hair, a more senior stylist would be needed. In step Taylor who after assessing my hair, went to work. I wanted to keep as much length as possible, while hiding the previous chop job. Taylor did a great job and also had another senior stylist come over to help diffuse some major problem spots. All told, the team spend a solid hour fixing my awful hair situation and the results were night and day! I was so ecstatic- once my cut was done, it turned into one of the better haircuts I've ever had! Lesson learned - don't cheap out on cuts - go to the experts. Came here on a whim for a haircut before my trip, place is nice and my stylist was friendly but was irked when she whipped my hair in my eye when sectioning and it made me jump because of how painful it was, also maybe its just my hair but I didn't get as many layers as I asked for in the reference pic and it needed to be thinned out but alas I have one big thick style I'm going to have to grow out again. I was in town from Houston on a work trip and had been doing my research on great salons in the Austin area. I decided to give Spoleti a shot because of the great cut and color reviews. The second I walked in, I was greeted with all smiles from everyone in the salon. Mackenzie did an amazing job on cutting off 8 inches of my hair and giving me the exact color and cut I needed for my skin tone and face shape. I didn't give her too much to work with, but she managed to give me the exact cut I was looking for. Additionally, the initial rinsing of the toner was not done thoroughly. However, the exceptional care and attention I received from the manager,Taylor and the owner more than made up for it. I haven't had any paid services performed, but during the ice storm of 2021, I had not had running water in 5 days, and they offered their community free hair washes! Their water heater wasn't working, but without them, work would have been much more uncomfortable. I had been snowed in to my apt complex for 5 days and without running water for 7 days. Marissa gave me an honest yet gentle consultation, and Daisy was actually able to see me as a walk in! Both ladies were incredible, their personalities and skill level. Even though I was Daisy's client, both she and Marissa collaborated to ensure that I would receive the best outcome and I am extremely happy with the results. So let me start by saying I don't want to be a yelp hater. When I enjoy something I try to leave honest reviews (when I remember.) I have been coming to this salon since I moved to Austin in October, so I have been there 4 times. I have seen 3 stylists in 4 months. I get it people come and go and the end of the year is a time for a lot of change. In December when I went in the stylist dyed my roots lighter than my hair. I was mad, but I wanted to give the salon a chance to fix before I blasted them on yelp. They were very accommodating and lovely about it. However, during the correction she dyed my roots almost black. So dark. Last week I went again, I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. When I booked they told me that stylist had left. So I thought okay..... My roots are lighter again!!!!! I told them the formula was wrong. The stylist talked and talked about the formula and what he was going to do. Yet here I am. The prices here are good, but I can honestly say I can't recommend it. read more

I messaged the page at 8pm and got a response within 2 hours for an appointment the next day, which I appreciated! Ohndrea was very sweet and professional. I was pretty nervous about getting a cut, because I have had long hair for awhile and I wanted a short cut that was low maintenance. We ended up doing a cut to the shoulders.
