I had been following this business online for a while now. I was excited to have a reason to order one of their custom cakes since I love their cupcakes. I have attempted to reach out to them multiple times since 8/3/21 and I need the cake for 8/28. I haven't received any kind of response. Their website states to send them an email for custom orders, so I'm unsure if you would have success if you attempted another type of contact. If you want something premade, I would suggest totally checking them out. But if you need anything special, might want to look somewhere else. read more

Finally made it to Spooky's for some GF baked goods, I bought 3 items for $14. I bought a macaroon with chocolate chips for $2 (pretty tasty, good size), a cinnamon roll for $5 (nice flavor but super dense), and a chocolate cupcake with coconut/macaroon frosting for $6 (decent, didn't love the cake but the frosting was good). The bakery has a fun theme, I look forward to returning and trying a few more items. read more

All I can say is THANK YOU for making gluten free vegan treats!!! These desserts are freakin amazing! They taste delicious and are decorated super fun and creepy! The place is all decked out in memorabilia from old classic horror flicks. And they have killer coffee! If you haven't checked them out yet, I highly recommend you do soon! Incredible. Absolutely incredible. If you like Jewels Bakery, you will love this place for desserts. I was blown away by the gluten free cinnamon rolls. I had one bite and walked right back in the store and bought what was left in the case it's been 12 years since I had a cinnamon roll that tasted like a cinnamon roll. I also ended up getting a pecan roll, the vampire cupcake, a macaroon (the coconut kind) mini cupcakes, mini cheesecakes and my heart wanted a slice of the cake but I had to control myself. I'm also super pregnant right now and feel no shame for the amount of treats I bought, me and my boyfriend will enjoy them all weekend. If you're gluten free you need to go here. delicious cupcakes!!! some of the best cupcakes i've ever had, and im not even a fan of cupcakes or gluten free lol. they even had vegan options. i had the strawberry "suspirious" or something like that, it has super good strawberry cream cheese frosting, which i've never seen elsewhere. it's moist like a 'normal' cake. really good price for great GLUTEN FREE desserts! i loveee the theme throughout the store that reflects on the cupcakes themselves. it's that's super individual and unique to any other dessert shop i've been to. very creative, i'm a huge fan, should definitely visit, especially if gluten free, even vegan, or just a horror and dessert fan. read more

This was one of the greatest experiences in my lifetime. I am a huge movie buff along with my husband. We had the honor of meeting some of the owners and talking with them how they started it all. It is truly amazing for any film buff. The treats were as tasty as the shop was amazing. They have one of the coolest collections I have seen. This place is phenomenal. A bakery with a movie prop museum attached, what's not to love? This place is a nice pit stop while I am running errands; they have several varieties of individual themed pastries and a few varieties of coffee. I really like the peanut butter one, forget the name. The coffee is quite strong. Absolutely unique!! This hidden treasure was the brain storm of 2 pastry chefs that wanted something different. When you enter, you begin the head turning....there is so much to look at including comic books and production used items from horror movies. Then there is the coffee and pastries....had the Unicorn Blood coffee (such a smooth blend), the Cheesy Moose (chocolate coated cheesecake on a stick) and the Peanut Butter Solution (best if shared). Definitely going back....the chefs say Wednesday and Thursday are less busy, so keep that in mind. Limited hours but so worth it!!! read more

Good but definitely not great...yet. maybe with time? Their coffee cake was the bomb. But everything else we had was "meh". The place definitely felt like the bakery was an after thought to the "museum" of horror/sifi props they had. We got most of what they had in the case cause quite frankly they barely had a selection at the time. 3 type of cupcakes, something I assume was a truffle of sorts, coffee cake, brownie, something that was called a "cake bite" and then small little cheese cake. We ended up getting 2 of the 3 cupcakes to try. One was a cotton candy one, suppose to be themed from IT, but the decorations honestly fell so flat. (Really the decoration on everything was really disappointing especially for a place that is themed for oddities) but the cotton candy icing was surprisingly balanced. Not to sweet, good flavor and smooth. But the cake, though I understand gluten free goods are much more dense than a typical sponge cake. They were much like a corn bread muffin. The vanilla base to the cotton candy was good despite the textural issues I had with the cupcake. We also got a pin head themed cupcake, both the frosting and the chocolate base to it was just garbage. Same issue with texture, but the flavor on both the frosting and cupcake was not right at all. The decoration was not of pin head but looked more like a mace weapon. But again they had so many missed opportunities with their decoration. The other things we got were "bite sized" treats to try. One being something called the "shark bite" it looked like a shark head. It was what I can assume was an attempt at chocolate truffle coated in colored melting chocolates to give the impression of a shark head. It being called a shark bite and not looking like a bite both me and those with me expected this chocolate truffle to have a raspberry filling or something to create like an "ooze" or a "bleed" effect. But nope another missed opportunity. I found it rather too sweet. But the rest of my group enjoyed it. It was far to hard to bite into too in my opinion. We also had a chocolate walnut brownie. Crumbly and to me tasted if cardboard but the kids in my group seemed to enjoy it. The coffee cake however, I was worried after trying the other things. Thinking coffee cake is generally a dryer cake anyways, now made gluten free was going to be just going to be ineatable but to my delightful surprise it was soft and delicious. Right amount of cinnamon and sweet had a nice crumble on top and a small amount of cream cheese frosting on top to balance. Definitely something I'd rebuy. Everyone found something there they liked but everyone in my group agreed the lack of the implied gimmicks for the decoration of the baked goods and the taste of them are not worth what they charge for them. Plus their selection case is so small. I'm taking like half the size of the case Starbucks has in width and only has 2 or 3 shelfs with the bottom shelf half being taken up by drink bottles. The cake bites, one of the cupcakes and the small for two round cake they had in the case were all the same cake as well. All were the "pin head cake" so the same product made 3 different sizes basicly took up half of their selection at the time we went. I am hopeful that because they just opened, they will improve with their selections and overall taste/texture and design of their baked goods. I will be interested to see their progression. Also I would like to note they have a sign by their register that states they are not a certified gluten free bakery, not sure why they advertises them selves as a gluten free bakery but have not gotten the certification. So if you are a sufferer from celiac disease I would be cautious as their might be some risk of cross contamination some where along the production line, either with the ingredients they use or the baking process itself. So just keep that in mind Disclaimer: -For the Gluten Free claim, I stated no false information in my review. You do have a sign at your register that you are not a certified Gluten free bakery. I do not know what is preventing you from getting the certification. I did not state there WAS cross contamination but i stated that it may be a possibility if you are not certified. As someone who as a family member with Celiac Disease we are very cautious and take precautions when eating something that is not certified gluten free. I hope you are at the very least considering getting officially certified if not already in the works for obtaining your certification.     -We did not attend your opening day Saturday. We came in on Sunday -I also did not compare your selections to that of which a starbucks would carry. I compared your case SIZE for reference to those viewers that are reading the reviews before coming to your bakery.  I am aware you are not a corporate bakery. read more

This bakery is amazing! My friends told me about it and mentioned it was a gluten free bakery and I was so excited to try it. I finally got to go today and got a cinnamon roll right out of the oven, a peach danish, and Ghostbusters sugar cookie. I also bought a couple kitchen items and a water tumbler. I wish I could get their baked goods shipped to Vegas. I want to try their donuts! read more

Their gluten-free cheesecake is better than regular cheesecake (the crust) and the cheesecake itself is to die for. I bought a cheesecake from here because of allergies and another one (that was more expensive) from another bakery for everyone else because usually the gluten-free option is sub-par. The scary movie memorabilia is awesome- highly recommend stopping in to see it, the baked goods sadly were not good and overpriced. Everything we bought was dry. We tried a cupcake called Hollywood, red velvet brownie and a white ghost cupcake with bloody eyes which were pretty inedible. The ghost cupcake's frosting flavor was good, sad that was it. The place itself it cute with tables to hang out and the staff was nice, sadly the baked goods were not. We'll try again, maybe just a bad batch? read more

This place is legit! The atmosphere is amazing, and the mini horror museum is so fun. They have a lot of props! Their bakery is adorably creepy. We had the Jason cupcake and the Jack cupcake. For a gluten free place, it was really good. I'm not that big of a fan of sweets, so while it was good, I mainly only came for the novelty of the place. Wow yummy! Picked up a cheesecake slice for later and a Black Forest cake slice that I ate in the car. All gluten free and delicious. Cute little place with lots of options. We had an amazing time at the Grand Opening. The place has an amazing collection of horror items. It's a great place to get a very yummy cupcake or the most delicious chocolate peanut butter swirl and eat and walk around the horror museum. Everything is Gluten Free which is a plus. But most of all the staff is so sweet and really friendly. This is one place I will be going to quite often. So 3 stars...I really want to give this place 5, but I just can't..Now there selection was awesome!Wide variety of treats that each have there own unique and amazing design that you can tell was thought of very closely. TONS OF DETAIL IN EVERY TREAT!
