Service was great! We had a very friendly waitress that checked in on us regularly and was very attentive. However, the food was unpleasant. I ordered bone-in wings that were first given to me cold. So I asked her to warm them up. I assumed they made me a new batch of wings and when I ate some of them, the chicken was red on the inside, uncooked. A friend of mine ordered a sandwich that he said was bland. Ambience was fine. Second stop on a Aquidneck island Rhode Island food fights, Lord of the pies excursion. I had no idea this place even existed but then again I don't get out to Tiverton much, this second floor sports bar above a giant athletic facility Definitely looks like the type of place that you could hang out on any Sunday and watch a football game.... surprisingly there were only about eight patrons in the whole place at 1:30 on a Sunday. The bartender was very friendly and gave us a couple of samples of some of the beers on tap that we weren't familiar with and then ultimately we got a pepperoni pizza and an olive pizza; both of which were very good and we found ourselves finishing all but a couple of slices. I suppose if your kid is coming in here for soccer or playing basketball or roller hockey this is definitely a place to kill an hour or two and watch a Monday night game and have a couple of beers. read more

Located inside Longplex Sports, Sports Kitchen is in a great location where you wan watch the teams practice if you're lucky enough to snag a spot along the overhang. Unfortunately, there aren't enough servers working on these busy sports nights- not sure if they just don't have enough people to work or what. This isn't just a one night review either as we have been coming for weeks due to a sports practice, so we see it's a constant issue. I've tried different dishes- the salmon, the mahi, Cesar salad, Cobb salad- all really good. Do yourself a solid and stay away from the beef tips/ steak- I asked for it cooked medium rare and it was super dry and definitely not medium rare. Husband loved the tacos, the wings and the fries. A very interesting place, very family oriented, in a huge sports event building, but the bar is huge, the food is very good, and they have nightly entertainment with bands on the weekend. If you want something different this is definitely the placed. read more

The restaurant is located in the far corner on the second floor. It is a HUGE space where you can watch the game on the courts on the first floor or on one of the many TV's throughout the restaurant. It is very convenient to have a restaurant like this inside a sports complex of this size because you can eat or drink while you are waiting for the games to start or when there's a break in between. The menu is HUGE and boasts items that are more than just your typical bar food. Between the courts below and the TV's and music playing throughout, it is a very loud space - which is perfect if you have noisy kids like I do. We ordered a few things, the away burger that had bacon and a fried egg on top, two pizzas, and some wings which were all good and about what you'd expect from a sports bar. My husband ordered the chicken Marsala for some reason and didn't care for it at all - it was a skinny chicken tender on top of overcooked pasta and didn't have enough sauce on it. The staff was friendly but covering a large area and since it was busy, there were long gaps in between when she would check on us which meant we waited a while for things like silverware and drink refills. All in all it was a positive experience and I would definitely go back the next time we are there to watch a game. read more

I think this place far exceeds expectations. It doesn't pretend nor does it need to be gourmet. However, it has some pretty great options for a sports bar in a sports complex. I had fish tacos that were really tasty. My friends both loved their fish and chips and the pulled pork nachos were huge and looked delicious. My partner has a burger and he raved about it - temped correctly, juicy, tasty. Fries are coated and extra crunchy. Pretty decent beer options too. The girl waiting on us was super friendly too. This I would have to say was the best burger on the burger passport this year. I went into them with only like seven dollars in my pocket so I could pay for a tip the server's name was Mackenzie she was amazing. I found the restaurant it was tucked in the corner of the sports complex on the second floor. She was very friendly outgoing she allowed me to upgrade to sweet potato fries because I don't eat regular ones she also gave me the teriyaki sauce on the side which was good because it was quite a bit salty and since I wasn't sure really what the taste was gonna be like I wasn't sure if I would end up eating it. There was no upgrade I just had a glass of ice water with my burger and I honestly would have to say out of all the places I went to in the whole burger passport this year this one which was 30 minutes from my house I will definitely be taking my honey back to eat at I have never had such a positive uplifting experience both between the service the food and just all-around atmosphere of where I was at. Went to pick up an online order tonight and waited at the hostess stand as the text instructed. Multiple waitstaff walked by as I stood there. No one stopped to ask if I needed help. I stopped one waitress, and she said she would check on it, but never came back. Ten minutes later, Jim, the owner, came and asked if I was all set. I told him no, I have been waiting for a while and still dont have my order, although multiple have walked by. His response was that the staff doesn't know why I am standing there. To which I responded, maybe they could have asked. He then told me the sign on the hostess stand said, "seat yourself". I said I'm not sitting, I'm here to pick up food." He continued in his condescending tone, telling me there is no hostess, I need to walk up to the waitress station and ask for my food. That they are short staffed, the waitstaff needs to watch their tables or people yell at them and they quit, next time walk up to the waitress station. I said no problem this would be the last time I visit the restaurant. He then walked away without any assistance or my order. Maybe the waitstaff is leaving because they are busy and they have an owner who does nothing to help. If he treats his paying customers this way, I can't imagine how he treats his staff. The gentleman behind the glass who was making pizzas was nice enough to stop what he was doing to help. If it weren't for him, I could still be standing there. read more

i came here the past weekend while my son had a basketball tournament. i was very disappointed with my visit here. our server seemed very inattentive and unknowledgeable. she couldnt tell us the name of the sam seasonal on draft. she also had no idea how many pieces came in the pizzas. after taking our drink order and waiting several minutes, she finally returned and was carryiing our beverages from the top of the glasses with her fingers (where you would put your mouth to sip your beer). my husband and i were extremely turned off and grossed out. after she left the table, we did not drink the beverages. next, she came out carrying the food touching her shirt and her stomach area.the plates and the food were touching her clothing and god know what else. we didnt touch our pizza or appetizer that we ordered. my other son ate his cheeseburger and was afraid of germs and he was going to get sick. as soon as she delievered the food i paid the bill, we got up and left. (we never ate ) i never in my 20+ years in the hospitality industy have i dealt with someone so unaware and in inattentive. this really put a damper on our afternoon, and i will not ever return here. read more

Good food, horrible service. You have to wait forever to be seated and then they tell you there's no host/hostess despite the sign they have up. Once you finally get to order, it takes FOREVER and the your order is wrong!! Not once but at least twice in the many times I've been here. Now about 3 minutes later out comes a burger and fries room temp that was giving to us and NO sign of a pizza. My child was starving so she wanted to eat the burger but wanted ketchup no1 in sight so i return to the bar area to ask for some waited and watched the 2 bartenders chatting it up and paying me no mind so after a couple of minutes i leaned over and took the ketchup myself! I dropped off the ketchup found a different waitress asked for a to go box when she brought it i asked for my bill and told her i didnt want the pizza anymore that they were clearly remaking since they gave mine away she went in the kitchen and we waited at the computer to check out she told me $16 something i asked can u tell me the break down she said $10 for the kids burger and $2.50 for 2 sodas (fyi a drink is supposed to come with a kids meal!!!!!) i gave her my card told her they should info people its an hour wait for food when there was only 3 tables full in the whole place and i shouldnt even be paying for a burger that came out got served to another table and sat on a empty table before begin taking back to the kitchen and out to us! I signed my check Zero Tip she says something to the effect of thats not right its the kitchens fault blah blah i said to her u gota be kidding me u think u would be getting a tip I Didnt Get Any Food!
