Went with my wife on Friday. asked for a table and waitress said about 5 minutes.. Saw a couple leave so figured our table next. A couple of ladies come in, walk right by us and go sit at said table. I am extremely upset at myself that I've been living in Fall River for a year and just tried this place. I am in love with everything here!! Dawn at the bar is so awesome. Extremely helpful and friendly. Went for dinner and Dennis the waiter was fantastic! Took our drink order right away. I got the Cesar salad and it was delicious! They brought it with the dressing on the side just like I asked. I added chicken and it was fantastic. My father got the fisherman's platter and said it might be the best one he ever had and he's had them all. My mom got fish, baked potato and broccoli. She loved it. I tased the broccoli and it was so good! We loved it so much we went back the next day for lunch. I got the fried chicken strips, mashed potatoes and Portuguese stuffing. Another great dish. They have Keno here, an atm, and incredible specials every day. Place it so clean including the bathroom. They have entertainment on the weekends. Oh, the amount of tvs here is unbelievable. Their fish plate is just ok, I also love clam cakes which I get often from many places, the first time I ordered them they were like hockey pucks, Dk know if they use old grease, like them burnt or because I ordered take out or something else, I wish I had taken a picture to post, I see the photo uploaded here and mine looked nothing like that and I'm jealous because I do love clam cakes! but I understand where we all can faulter at times, so I decided to order them again almost a year later with the same just ok fish dinner and again clam cakes cooked beyond belief that they are almost inedible, I had to moisten a paper towel and heat them for a few seconds in the microwave in hopes of softening them up, which it did, but then by that time why even bother, the rest of their food might be good, as I have only ordered two items off their menu but don't get the clam cakes if your ordering out, sadly you will be disappointed read more

Stopped here to get a drink and watch the game and they didn't have the game on. Thought it was a good place to watch the game but actually not that many TVs. They didn't have the ingredients to make an old fashion which you think they would have. Also really bright for a sports bar. We didn't try the food but overall wasn't my favorite spot. read more

My neighbor works here so this is me blinking twice. Just kidding. I swung by this sports bar and found an eclectic crowd. Couples in the quiet corner, families in the middle, and a teenage birthday party against the far wall where the karaoke stage was set up. The service was excellent once we had been noticed. That did take a while in the confusion. My sweet potato fries were perfectly passable. My hot sandwich, however, had clearly never been in the same postcode as seasoning. A big hotsauce bottle would have fixed most of the problems with it. Overall this place is perfectly functional if you don't feel like cooking and like a lot of background noice. I do heartily respect it for being completely honest about what it is. The decor inside is also way more fun than the bland exterior suggests. I may add a star if next time my main dish is tasty. Heard about this little hidden treasure from friends on a Facebook group I belong to. While not nearby, I had a day off and so talked my dear wife into a little lunch road trip to Fall River. Street parking was available just a block down from the pub, so that was fine, and it cost 0.75 for 1.5 hours on the meter. Not sure if free parking was available somewhere else, but just be aware of that. The draft selection is really good, with lots of local craft brews to choose from, as well as a few from farther away. I went with the Mayflower winter oatmeal stout. Dark, creamy and rich. A good choice. We went with 6 clam cakes as an appetizer. Wow! Scottie's has set a new standard for clam cakes in my mind. They were the size of baseballs. Tasted great too. And at $5, they are a bargain! I got the jalapeno burger and thought it was good. Bun got a little soggy, but how can you complain about a juicy burger? Wow, this place is good!! My husband's employer had their Christmas party here a couple of years in a row and we were really impressed with the food. But we never gave the pub restaurant much thought until one of his coworkers mentioned their daily specials. Long story short, we've dined here three times in one week and are going back again tonight to try the pizza! Everything we've ordered has been not just good, but perfect! Best burger I've had in a long time and the wings are huge and lightly breaded. And, oh, the fries!! Ah-maz-ing! Last night, I tried the chicken chow mein and was even blown away by that! A great place to go for dinner or for drinks, EXCEPT on Friday nights. The DJ music is so loud that it is impossible to talk with anyone you are out with! A group of us used to go there (pre-Covid) every Monday night and it was Wonderful! I've been there with my wife numerous times for dinner, and the food and service never disappoints. If you plan on going there on Fridays, you should plan on eating a little earlier, and get out by 9:00 if you expect to be able to converse at all! read more

Scottie's is a fairly average joint. It's sort of like if a TV set was closed off on the audience side and extra tables were shoved into place - as if it's waiting for a good punchline or a strong enough round of drinks. I say that because, in the instances when I've visited, there always seem to be interesting characters there. Regulars and one-offs alike, this is the place to go to see Fall River's oddball population. You can sing your heart out, stuff your face with mediocre wings and try not to fall out of your seat after your second pitcher of cheap beer while you're there, too. I wouldn't say this place is anywhere close to stellar, but it is solid. Nothing's broken, the place is fairly clean, and the waitstaff are honest. If they screw up an order, you get a free drink chip. If they pour wrong, that's another free drink. If something is just all wrong, it gets comp'd. My first time ordering from Scotties was just the other night, Ordered via the GotChew app and it was very easy. When the good arrived it smelled so good! We ordered a snake bite pizza, the cacoila pizza and buffalo chicken dip. Everything tasted fresh and amazing, a huge portion of buffalo chicken dip and a lot of fresh chips just about filled us up but we needed to dig into the pizzas. When my wife heard we were visiting New England, she insisted we find a place that served stuffed quahogs, which she missed terribly since we moved west. Once upon a time, we could've found those on any corner in Bristol County (MA or RI), but finding them these days is apparently a lot tougher. A friend of hers recommended Scotty's. We filled up on the stuffed quahog and clam cake appetizers. The stuffies were a tad dryer than they should've been, but spiced just right and eminently filling. The clam cakes were deliciously fried, but seemed to be somewhat short on actual clams. We're usually not big on live music, but their musicians were easy to listen to.
