I came to get a car inspected (on my dime), and this is what the car needed: a battery replacement, awasher pump reservoir replacement, spark plugs, an air filter, a cabin filter, new brake fluid, rear window regulator since it wasn't working, and brakes and rotors for the front wheels. I also got another inspection at Honda since I know someone who works there, and he said that the power steering reservoir had to be replaced since the wheel had resistance when turning... this all would have costed 2k+ in repairs. I decided to cut my losses and return the car. Wouldn't recommend this dealer as he doesn't seem to care about the maintenance at all. Also, the gas was empty when I got there. BUYER BEWARE! Over $3500 in serious repairs required within 5 days of purchase! On Sunday, 8/22, I purchased a 2000 Nissan Xterra from this company. The following day, the car stalled twice on me. I took to the local dealership, and was told the harness wiring had been improperly installed. The wires had been cut, and simply twisted together. There was damage to the manifold. Repairs totaled in excess of $1200. I get the car back late 8/25. Early morning 8/28, loud "POP" driving down the road. Again, took to local dealership. Was informed not 1, but 2 leaf spring failures, which damaged shocks. Repairs totaled in excess of $2300 I called the dealership multiple times giving them an opportunity to reply, or make things right. No reply to date (10/04) read more

Saw a car I was looking for on there website and decide to call up the dealership to see if the car is still available. Eddison picks up and says an "out of state buyer has placed a deposit on the car, it's not for sale until the deposit expires." I was fine with that and over the next 2 weeks I call every few days to get updates on the deposit, and eventually the sales guy states the "out of state buyers deposit expires on 7/15/21". To me that's great. Then after that statement, he goes on to say "I'm only taking sticker price offers (essentially no negotiations). I respond "ok I'm willing to pay all cash wire transfer or check, but I'd need to see the car in person before I can commit to paying sticker" (the car was missing a badge on the trunk, and I had never seen the car in person, so I did not know the condition of the underbody or how it drove). I essentially didn't want to give him a false promise that I'll pay his asking price without actually seeing the car because pictures can only show so much. I was trying to be honest and open with him but he didn't appreciate that as you'll find out. After this conversation I call Edison today (7/14/21) to confirm if the deposit is actually going to expire tomorrow and if I can come check out the car tomorrow (7/15/21). He said yes, and I guess he remembered our last conversation and he said " I don't want to waste my time or your time, I'll only take sticker price offers." I respond "ok but again I can't guarantee I'll pay sticker before checking out the car in person" and before I can even finish my sentence he hangs up on me. It was very rude of Edison to not listen to what I was trying to say and just hang up on me. I don't understand how Edison expected me to agree to pay his asking price without giving me a chance to look at the car. I can't tell how the underbody of the car is or how the car drives from pictures. So I'm not going to lie to you and say "oh yeah I'll pay whatever your asking/sticker price even though I've never seen the car". I essentially was gate-kept from seeing the car. If I had been given the chance to actually see the car in person, and the car seemed good after I checked it out, by all means I would have paid his asking price. Good luck finding someone who will agree to pay sticker price, with out seeing the car in person, in an all cash form. One of the worst car buying/car searching experiences I've been through. read more

**update to original review below** Edison reached out to me after my review and addressed my concerns. He mentioned that he brought in the cars I test drove to his mechanics right after I left to address the things I'd mentioned, even though I wasn't really interested. He's a good guy, but I stand by what's written below. ** Edison seemed a little disorganized. I test drove four of his cars, three of them had very obvious mechanical issues and were not clean. He freely admits he doesn't have any mechanical knowledge and just leaves it to his mechanic friends to look over the cars. He buys them sight unseen from auctions around California, and he told me his main criterion for selecting cars was whether or not the interior was clean, because if the interior is clean that would mean the car has been well maintained. That's a bit of a stretch, especially because in reality, three of the cars I saw were not clean at all! I didn't feel like I was being misled, Edison wasn't trying to lie about the cars or say that they were perfect. He told me "I don't like to say the cars are perfect, because, I mean, they're used cars." But they're not priced accurately for the condition they're in. He had two Acura TSXs, one with over 140k miles and the other with under 80k. Although the one with fewer miles was priced about $3000 more than the one with more miles, it was in much worse condition! I also drove a Lexus IS350 that was dirty and had rusty brakes- upon making a u-turn there was an awful metal grinding noise with the steering wheel cranked. I guess he must be doing something right because he's been in business for 15 years, but the whole operation just seemed like a crapshoot. Maybe an auction car comes in great, and maybe it comes as a complete lemon, but Edison doesn't seem to notice either way or express much interest in the condition of the car. My family recently purchased a car from here and once we got it checked up by a mechanic there were actually many problems with the car. Luckily we had a good friend, the mechanic, to look over the car right away. He replaced the spark plug tube seal because that was missing and it caused a leak. If we did not catch this sooner, then the car would have caught of fire due to fuel leaking into the spark plugs. Then, he had to reseal the oil pan which was also leaking. Then, he replaced the front brake pads and disc because those were worn out and as well as replaced the left front side axle. There were a lot of problems that was not stated with the car when we asked about it. The car also needed an oil change and as well as a transmission fluid change but we expected that.
