This place is a rip off! My friend just wanted a owning put on .the Parts department and the install department are idiots no communication at all been down thief 4 times and still no luck over priced and they have no clue on what they are doing do. Not take your rig to be worked on there I found that the parts department is not even next to each other and does not communicate with each other who is in charge over there ! Stolen items from my locked coach and nothing done after it sat waiting for minor service for one week. It took me 3 weeks to get a service appointment for minor trim work and I was told to lock it up before handing the keys to the Service Advisor. One week later I called to see if I could pick it up & was told nothing had been done yet. I went to pick up my coach as I couldn't leave it there any longer - it's summer and I want to use it. It was locked just as I left it but when I got to camp, I found that someone had ransacked it and stole several small items including medication. The service manager did not agree that it had to be an employee who was in my coach. Who else could it be if the doors and windows had no forced entry and it was locked just as I left it. Also, who brings something in for service and has nothing done for 7 days. How long would they want my coach to sit on their lot to do the work? If I leave it there after the warranty work is complete, they start charging me daily. Doesn't seem right. I would not use the service department at Sprad's RV. Don't trust their employees and they don't seem to want to communicate with you or care about your property. I had a reasonable expectation that my belongings will be safe as long as it's locked. Apparently it's my fault for leaving anything in my coach to begin with. read more

They are comprehensive in getting the right parts and right "fix" for you. I can't gush enough about how courteous and helpful they are. I bought my trailer out of state... with a coverage plan. We purchased a RV last November. The process was pleasant and their staff assisted us professionally and exceeded our expectations. After the sale & delivery, they followed-up for the next four months to see how we were doing and if we needed any help or direction with our new coach. Recently preparing for an extended road trip, Parts & Service Director, Terry Reed was a great help! He went to all lengths to locate and send us a back-up monitor, at his expense, to replace the one in our coach. Absolutely brain dead. Called in for an emergency part. Said they had it. Told me how much. Arrived to find they didn't have it, and if they did happen to have it, it was three times what they said. He said "I thought you meant you wanted this other part". If I wanted a different part, I would have specified a different part. I didn't ask him to think, I asked him to confirm inventory. Simple, eh? Wasted a bunch of my time and fuel. These guys are clueless. read more

The manager of this company is apparently, so arrogant, he feels he's beyond having to respond to a complaint I filed with the BBB. While he may choose not to address our complaints about customer service that returns our rig we placed on their consignment lot, with damages it did not have before; a broken window; a shower door taken down and a missing propane tank. Mr, Burko will try to say none of these things were Sprad's fault. We didn't GIVE our rig to them with a broken window, a shower door that was down and one tank missing...so WHOSE fault is it? He will also tell you that there were things about our rig that were cosmetically questionable. Truth is, I disclosed those items to them; made a copy for us and the contract stipulated IF they sold then rig, we would repair those things, so don't even TRY to go there Bill! read more

I have been a long, long time customer of Sprads in the past. I have spent thousands of dollars with the sales and service departments. Recently I purchase a Grand Design, which they are a dealer for, from a different company. They have refused to honor their responsibility to perform warranty work on my rig. Spoke with the general manager at some length about why they could not get me in until "next" year. Basically boiled down to, "We don't make money on warranty repairs". Spoke with Grand Design and they knew of Sprads reputation of not taking care of it's customers and sent me to another local shop for repairs. As far as their "Forever Warranty", its just a come on scheme. You have to have your RV inspected every year, by them, every component, for as long as you own the unit. The prices they charge are the highest in Reno. So by time you need something repaired under warranty you've already paid them 10 times what you usually have spent w/o their "Special Warranty". Beware of things that seem to good to be true, because in this case it only benefits Sprads. read more

I want you to judge for yourselves. Took my RV in October 2015 because the black water was not draining on my 2015 Fusion 5th wheel. RV'd this last weekend and black water will not drain. Called Sprads 1st thing this morning and was told by Mark the manager after long conversation that I can come in on the 14th and they will see if they can possibly fix the issue before Memorial Day. I have a black tank full of feces, water, (the way I found out it was not drawing was because I was trying to flush the sewer system) and urine. I fell for their sales pitch of you are first in line when it comes to service. Folks you are not first in line. Not even when you r asking for the same issue to be fixed 7 month later. Really reconsider your purchase from this location as they definitely sell you one perception and perform another. Also when you tell them you are going to take action against them that you have every right to do as a consumer in the state of Nevada they are offended and threaten to not services you at all. As you can see from the last reviews something terrible has happened to Sprads RV and so far nothing will be done on their part to correct it. One last thing is I cannot find anyone else to work on the issue because Sprads worked on it prior. read more

The 5th wheel we purchased was great , but don't try to get anything done by the service department. Generally feel like you are a bother when you either ask a question or try to make an appointment. Next year will purchase a new RV elsewhere read more

Through 14 years here in Reno we have purchased 3 RV's from Sprads and have always gotten excellent treatment from them all: Sales, Parts and Service. We purchased our new Kodiak Trailer from them this last Fall. They also found a small defect in the trailer window trim that we couldn't even see and replaced the part even when we said that the defect was too small to notice and we didn't really care if it wasn't replaced. They said, "We care, we want it perfect". Nice to hear. They have always been so helpful when we had any questions or situations we needed help on. The service manager is the BEST! He is honest and always makes sure we understand how to work things and what is best for our towing situation. They installed our trailer brake and spent a lot of time going through our vehicle with us so we could take a long trip and not worry about wrecking anything. We have always been able to depend on them. We will certainly give them our business in the future. read more

Stay away from this shady dealer. Unless you buy a trailer from them they will refuse to make an service appointment. At first they are very friendly but once they ask where you bought your trailer from and they find out it wasn't through them their attitude changes. Pretty poor business practice if you ask me. If you are going to be mad when someone doesn't buy a trailer through you be more competitive with your pricing. read more

Made apt to drop off camper on a Friday for minor warranty work, winterization (per Forever Warranty) and have a portable solar plug installed. This work should have taken but a couple of days. Well, three weeks later I was able to pick up the camper. Service advisor advised when I drop off camper he would call the next week to let me know where the solar plug would be installed. He never called. I had to go down to see what was going on. It was always the next week followed be his famous "I will call you". Sprads management needs to QC this department. After the winterization the tech left antifreeze stains in the sinks and did not set the water pump valve to the winterization position. There is more to this story however, there is not enough space. If it wasn't for the "Forever Warranty" I would be hard pressed to get service from here. Poor customer service. read more

We searched all over the areas of Reno, CC, Folsom & Sacramento (and online west of the Continental Divide) in search of the perfect RV for us. Sprads was the very last RV Dealership we visited. (We had a bad experience years ago and didn't realize the business was under new ownership since then.) As it turned out, the best was saved for last. Our salesman was Terry Brown and we can't praise his excellent customer service enough. His follow though with every single question or concern was honestly beyond our expectation. Terry is a wealth of information and offered solid advise which helped to educate us while making a very important decision. His manager, Mark, ensured the entire process was smooth, professional and seemed effortless. The rest of our Sprads team, Kat & John, were helpful, professional and patient with their involvement during the process. I cant imagine Sprads RV not taking care of somebody and especially if they had a complaint!! We bought a brand new Wildcat by Forest River (5th wheel) from Sprads and it had SEVERAL problems with two issues that we could not live with! After two years, we took it down to Sprads RV and traded it in for the brand new Reflection by Grand Design and they BENT OVER BACKWORDS for us! They were SO accomidating, great trade in price and great price on the new one. I would recommend Sprads RV to anyone. read more

We just bought a 5th wheel from Terry here. So Knowledgable! Answered all of our questions with time and concern. No pressure. We came back a couple of times, as this is a big purchase, and he took time and hooked up power and showed us all the features. Again, no pressure. The unit ended up selling before we could muster a decision, but that didn't matter, Terry helped us thru the ordering process when we did make the jump. The whole staff was extremely polite and professional, from management on down. If you want great service, and a knowledgable salesman, go see Terry. You won't be disappointed! read more

I am giving this low rating to the service department. Although the service work maybe on a low priorty since we did not purchase our rpod directy from sprads, perhaps if we did we might get a higher priorty as this is one of their online questions when you schedule an on line appointment. However our request for an appointment was made directly. We purchased our rpod while traveling through spokane. Sprads was our go to place for repairs/warrenty work as told to us by the spokane dealer. Preparing for an up coming trip we noticed that the factory failed to hook up water to our outside sink. Service department simply stated they didn't have the time as they are on a one year warrenty back up load.. thats pretty much unacceptable wait time, and pretty much says, oh well, sucks to be you! Either sprads needs better techs or more employees or need to connect with someone to handle their overflow of work...how sad that if owners need work, sprads attitude is, put your plans on hold for a year till we can get back to you.. read more

I own a 2013 Keystone Montana that has some minor warranty issues. It is Keystones policy that all Keystone Dealers do warranty work on Keystone products. Sprad's RV refused to make an appointment for my Montana since they don"t sell that Keystone line of 5th wheel and that Keystone's policy is that Keystone Dealers only do warranty work on the product lines that the dealer sells. That was a lie. I talked with Keystone and filed a complaint against Sprad's RV. I am really really glad that I did not buy a 5th wheel from this dishonest dealer. We were considering a Fusion at one point but finally decided on a Montana instead. read more

Let me first start off by saying our sales man was great and found the perfect trailer for us that we love. Aside from that the service at Sprad's its absolutely horride. First off they charge nearly 800 bucks for a pdi "pre delivery inspection" 2 batteries and to fill the propane tanks. We bought the trailer and set up a pick up date nearly 2 and a half weeks later. when we picked up the trailer and did our walk through, the awning was filthy and full of mildew, the black tank was 1/4 full and a blind was not mounted and we only got 1 battery. they fixed the blind and emptied the black tank before we hooked up leaving us to scrub the awning and get the mildew off our selves. obviously they never did the pdi as when we got it home we found more, a loose hook in the bathroom, a bracket underneath the trailer was not hooked up and a blind was missing the adjuster. I know mistakes happen and maybe they just didn't catch some of this stuff so we called and took back the trailer for them to "make it right". big mistake! they tried to fix the hook in the bathroom by moving it and drilling new holes. it did not tighten in the wall so they just left it. I had to install drywall screws and get it to snug up properly myself on. top of that they adjusted the support brackets on the trailer awning which we hadn't even complained about drilling new holes on the siding of our trailer causing the awning not to close and they didn't even seal up the old holes, which is good because once home I had to put the bracket back where it was so the awning would close properly again. now we have unneeded holes in our siding so water can leak in. They did end up giving us a second battery that they could not install, so I will have to make a bracket and install it myself. This service is extremely poor I would not let them pay me to work on my unit. read more

Do not buy an RV from this company!!! We bought a new Forrest River 32ft. trailer from Sprad's and they upsold us on the fact that they provide the forever warranty, that covered any issues that might happen to our trailer. We had issue after issue with the trailer and had to have the front cap of the trailer replaced twice due to paint peeling. The second time we had to have the front redone, Sprad's failed to inform us that they received the cap in March and started calling us to schedule to have the trailer fixed in May. I asked if we could wait until the end of camping season because we had already booked and paid for all of our camping trips. The owner called us and said that if we didn't bring our trailer in at once (over 4th of July weekend!) that they were going to send the cap back to the manufacturer and we would have to reorder it when we were ready for the work to be done. Mind you, it had already taken 3 months to get the cap delivered to Sprad's and Forrest River informed us that they would replace the issue but that it was "out of warranty". The owner was horrible. I cancelled our 4th of July plans to bring the trailer in to have the work done and wrote a bad customer review of Sprad's on google. She called me and said that since I wrote a negative review, they would no longer work on the broken camper they sold us and that she would no longer service our trailer. So, long story short, they left us with a broken camper, a cancelled July 4th vacation and a retaliation for writing a bad review. Thankfully, we took it to the wonderful people at Carson City RV, who confirmed they have been getting a lot of business from Sprad's for all the reason's listed above. They worked with Forrest River to order the cap and get it replaced as well as several other issues with the unit purchased from Sprad's. The Forever Warranty turned out to be a JOKE because Sprad's is the only one that will service it. Everyone else said they don't work with them. Thanks a lot Sprad's!
