One of my favorite places in philly for their pies ! Staff is nice and [[HIGHLIGHT]]decor inside is pretty cute[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Was treated to this pizza for a Yelp elite event we attended at the rail park and it really hit the spot! We tried both the veggie pizza as well as the pepperoni and both were delicious. I thought the cheese, sauce and dough combination all worked!

    Italian hoagie and strawberry lemonade

Local place with excellent hoagies and a homemade strawberry lemonade. We had an Italian hoagie, cheesesteak, and pepperoni pizza and they were all excellent. Get the hoagies with the peppers, thank me later.

I was always intrigued by this restaurant, so I finally decided to order a pizza. It's been the best pizza I've had in the spring garden/fairmount area! It has everything that I'm looking for for a take out pizza. It's large, filled with toppings, the cheese pulls apart, the crust is sturdy. They don't go light on the meat toppings for their heavy weight pizza. And each slice is heavy. AND the pizza is the cheapest that I've found for it's quality. I think a large cost a total of $22 post tax and delivery. I'll have to come back and try out other items on the menu. Spring Garden Pizza is my now go to place for pizza delivery

Great little pizza spot. I loved the variety of pizza options, quality of pizza toppings, chew of the pizza crust, and value of the size/cost. Other options like wings and Spanish fries were also a major hit. Definitely a hidden little gem. The owner is absolutely amazing and fun to chat with as we waited for the last few items to be put together.

    Penne a la Vodka

This place is absolutely a hidden gem in the Philly food scene. While it's got amazing and very reasonably priced diner food, the dinner menu is like an upscale dining experience. The penne a la vodka is my favorite in the city and I'd put it up against any old school south Philly Italian restaurant (the highest form of food praise IMO). I also want to shout out Luis and Jayla for always making it a special experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You come in and feel like family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you've never been here - you're missing out! The food, the people, the whole dining experience. Love this place and can't wait to go back for our special occasions and a weekday breakfast (my husband is literally there right now). Go to Spring Garden!!

First day under new ownership and you would never know it. Food was great, came out fast, and staff was super friendly and attentive. I'll be back.

I had to make a return trip for their namesake. Pizza! The pizza came out in 15 minutes and it was off to the races. The crust is thin and tasty. The sauce is fresh and perfectly seasoned. Thin slices of mozzarella blanket the pizza so no one bite is without cheese. The large pizza was more than enough for two people. We were adequately stuffed after the meal. $15.95 is a steal for pizza of this quality. I was honestly beginning to lose faith in Philly pizza until I came here. This beats all that overhyped hipster trash in Fishtown. Corner store bodega pizza reigns supreme. Unbeatable price and you don't have to wait outside for an ungodly amount to time waiting for the joint to open. This is your average joe, blue collar pizza. This is not for the pizza snob, kombucha drinking crowd.

My go to for super reasonably priced, good food. I mean $10 for a large cheese pizza?! Super hard to come by in 2023. I typically get the chipotle bbq wings and the sauce is on point. Also love the mozzarella fries. Taking off one star solely because delivery is a bit slow, but the food is always hot and fresh.

    Philly Special Pizza

Great small place with great variety of foods from breakfast to pizza and sandwiches also pastas.

First time ordering from Spring Garden Pizza. I ordered a Large Pie and I'm so happy I did from Spring Garden Pizza. It's exactly what I was looking for, reminds me of boardwalk pizza. The crust could be a little more crispy but the taste is there for me so I'll just know for next time to ask for an extra 5 minutes in the oven. Overall a very good pie at a good price of $12, I will be coming here again

solid no nonsense pizza. the crust was rather brittle. you won't write home taking your mates about it, but for locals it's a legit option! very large pizzas that fulfill the pizza crave time and time again. can't go wrong with the veggie blend topic mix. great flavors and colorful array.

Old school sit down / walk up kind of spot

Our server apologized for a delay in taking our drink orders. She was attentive the rest of our meal. I ordered a Charles deGaulle whiskey cocktail. Lemon, aperol and simple syrup added a refreshing twist. For entrees, my wife ordered the pacherri; a simple pork ragu with tender broccoli rabe, Parmesan, stracciatello and basil. The dish was delicious. I enjoyed my plate of sea-inspired tonnarelli nero. Bay scallops in crab ragu with fennel sofrito. Served with squid ink pasta that imparted a slight brininess. The pasta was cooked pangrattato style-- coated in panko bread crumbs and garlic. The dish had many flavors but they all came back to the theme. Cocktail prices and entree prices were very reasonable. They offer happy hour drinks and specials. Certainly a very good choice if you're in the area.

The short rib over polenta was probably my favorite thing on the table - it fell apart easily and the polenta underneath wasn't as heavy as I expected it to be. Probably order something different next time just to try more of the menu, but I'm getting that ricotta again no matter what.

I personally would order this as my meal if I could. room temp, oily, good crunch to soft ratio. Judion Beans: good beans. they are on a similar wavelength as butter beans. honestly I get them for the table for the extra bowl of oil at the bottom to dip the crusts in. Creamy Oregano Salad: very interesting. small shaves of mushroom and fennel. very slight bitter taste. oddly addictive. the olives were my favorite part. i'd consider these friendly olives to those suspicious of olives. and the olives are cut in halves, so easy to pick out. so are the mushrooms. easy split for a table of four. beyond that i'd get two. *ADD ON* pickled chilies: very good. I suggest adding this to the pie. they are green, spicy, delicious, absolutely lovely. Corn Pizza: all together very delicious. my favorite part are the cherry tomatoes on top, which I would really like to be an add on option to other pies. they are the perfect flavor and size. i'm not particularly a tomato fan, especially whole. these are a rare exception. Classic Pizza?: solid, no notes. good as always. My only wish is that they offered a sauce to dip my crust in. they have very good crust, perfect ration of crispy and fluffy. just needs a sauce. Overall, great service, the manager greeted us to check on our meal, our server was attentive, the vibe is great inside.

Makes it a great spot for a pizza date night. The pizzas absolutely are the star and they care about the quality that they put out. I've never had a pizza that wasn't within their consistent standard. The corn pizza, when in season, is a stunner and a reason to go on its own. The small plates are all delicious and if you like wine, the list they have is really strong always. All of the above said, every single time I go I see the bill and I say to myself, "oh that was a little more than I thought it was going to be." Has it stopped me from going back? No! And I don't think it should be a deterrent, but good to keep in mind. Like I said, the food is so great and the staff is as well. As a whole package, though? 4-stars!

I was immediately seated upon arriving to Pizzeria Vetri. I was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, at a table, or at the pizza counter. I chose the pizza counter so that I could watch staff making pizzas. As I was there on my own, the serving staff continued to stop by and check on me. The menu includes neopolitan pizzas (12" feeding 1-2 people) and metro pizzas (28" feeding 3-4 people). They make pizzas, calzones, antipasti, and salads.
