Friday. September 13, 2024. Lunch. Felt like Vietnamese food. Drove up to the drive through window. You order and pay at the same window. Then you park in the pick-up parking space and wait. The young lady taking my order practiced patience telling me all my options. You can really customize your food at this restaurant. I order the minor (32 ounce) Pho for $13.75. I picked the udon noodles and the smoked brisket (cashier's suggestion) with the spicy lemongrass (beef) broth. The 32-ounce broth came in its own cup, and they gave me another huge cup filled with the smoked brisket, noodles, green onions, bean sprouts, cilantro, basil, jalapenos and 2 lime wedges. This alone was a lot of food and the hot broth cooked the brisket quickly. A very satisfying meal but I wasn't done. I also ordered a fried pork sausage spring roll for $7.69. The spring rolls (there were two, not one) came with fried pork sausage (very large and chunky), rice noodles, daikon, carrots, cucumbers and lettuce. They gave me a spicy green chile dipping sauce on the side. This perfectly complemented the delicate roll. Just the spring rolls alone would have filled me up. A very healthy, nutritious meal for just over $20! It didn't take long for them to deliver it to me after ordering. I might have waited 10 minutes. Service fast and courteous. When I go back, I'll probably just order a spring roll. Maybe I'll try the shrimp spring roll next time. read more

I love Vietnamese food and eat it often. This place was not good. I gave it a try because it is in a convenient location and when I drove by the parking lot was empty. Somehow is misread that as a "go ahead and try it, it'll be quick" as opposed to what I should have thought which was "the parking lot is empty because this place sucks". I got the sampler. A small Pho, 2 egg rolls and 2 spring rolls. The spring rolls were not very good. I got the shrimp ones. The herbs were not fresh. They cooked they shrimp in some type of seasoning. Not good. Not only did I not like the seasoning, it took over the entire roll and covered up any shrimp flavor. It was difficult to judge the flavor of the egg rolls because they were overcooked and tasted burnt. The Pho was small as stated. It was mostly rice noodles and broth. I like the whole process of preparing the extra ingredients and adding to my liking. This didn't have any options and you just eat it the way it's served. Bland and mostly noodles. Don't waste your time here. Go to a small local Pho shop as there are plenty and as far as I can remember, they are all better than this. read more

It's cool that it's Fast Casual Vietnamese food, but the food is mediocre and the menu and choices are confusing. I'm a geezer and my eyes aren't that great(yeah I need glasses) so I have a hard time reading those video menus that so many places have now. And for the love of me, I couldn't understand what the counter person was trying to tell insteadme about the combo so I became annoyed and ordered a couple of rolls. The rolls were pretty fresh, but the shrimp was marinated and oddly fried and the other roll that had sausage was meh. My wife's phoe was huge but she barely ate half of it and didn't even save the leftovers which is a sign that she didn't love it. She ALWAYS keeps leftovers. I'm a big fan of Spring Rollin' and specifically they're their pan fried noodles. I also love the spring rolls as well but the noodles are really my favorite. This most recent visit I tried the grass jelly and it was really enjoyable. Every time I've come it's been outside of busy hours and the service has been fast and friendly. read more

Doordash Order: We ordered the spring rolls with a photo of fried spring rolls because the fresh spring rolls are sub par at best. We received fresh spring rolls anyways. Blown out mess that you can't eat. We ordered the Major Pho with the beef lemongrass broth as well. The broth is mid on the flavor profile. I'm concerned that the preparation of the pho was completed by the same person that made the spring rolls. Completely turned down by this and cannot bring myself to consume the pho. read more

Just moved to ABQ and i was surprised and excited that there was a Pho spot that was close and had a drive thru. That's not normal from where im from. Ended up getting three bowls of some pho with beef and they were great portions, packaging was great and kept the food warm. They were quick to bring it out too, almost faster than most restaurants. It was great food, the broth was rich and held a unique flavor in which brought me a great experience. will be back soon! read more

I was in town for work and stumbled upon this spot. They have a drive through, which is nice and it didn't take too long for my order. I ordered the triple combo which came with 2 spring rolls, 2 egg rolls, and a small pho portion. It hit just the right spot. It was more than enough food for one person. The spicy lemongrass broth was so comforting and soothing, I could just drink that on its own. The spring rolls and egg rolls were delightful as well. We had the triple combo and Bahn Mi. $19. This small place was a pleasant surprise. There are many good and some great Vietnamese restaurants in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. And this place, with it's limited menu should cause some of them to take note. Finally, a place to get Bahn Mi on the West side! While we have had better, we have also had much worse. So, bravo to this little start up. Keep fighting the good fight and filling the void. Thanks for all the noodles but we would like to see more broth in the pho. Also, keep trying to improve the Bahn Mi. It's powerful fresh flavors set it apart from all the other sandwiches. Make it more juicy and zesty to make it a winner people can't resist. This was our first time trying this place. We are always passing by it when we are in the mall area, but have not really ever tried it. Glad we got a chance to. I think there are many locations of this restaurant but this one is closest to us. We were able to visit right when it opened. There are a lot of places to sit inside the restaurant. Basically what you do is order your food and they bring it to you. When you go to order it is very easy to follow. They offer bahn mi, Phó noodle soup, then you have the choice of spring rolls. They look to have different flavors which I'm sure are all delicious, but we decided to try the combo. Which included; spring rolls, egg rolls and Phó. I tell you it was a huge combo that could definitely be split for 2 people. Both the cheesesteak and pork egg rolls were tasty. Served with dipping sauce. They do offer different flavors. As for the spring rolls, we had the shrimp. Tasty as well. No complaints there. As for the pho, we tried the thin rice noodles with tofu and spicy lemongrass broth. I liked the Phó, but it was served in a cup which I did not think was that great. Because it was difficult to mix the soup and get all the broth from the bottom. It was served hot and when trying to dig for the broth, items on top were spilling out of the cup. We also tried the chicken bahn mi that was good too. We enjoyed our dining experience. We may just skip the Phó next time, since it isn't served in a bowl but a cup. Thank you for good customer service. read more

This was a great find for us! If you like Vietnamese food this is a must try! We got a triple combo so you get to try a little bit of everything which is nice for when it's your first time or if you have a big appetite. Once we received our food everything looked delicious and even better it tasted amazing and was so filling! For the triple combo you can pick two different meats or the same for the spring roll, for the egg rolls you can also pick two different or the same, and a mini for the pho. Omg! New spot everyone!! So this place the food is amazing!! First I was so excited to try the place another customer purchased my meal, AMAZING! Thank You!! Second the menu is slightly confusing but not hard to work out. Staff is friendly and actually for young workers they stay on task, which is very comforting. They even have a drive up window. Workers ask how your meal was and honestly care. Wow!! So I got the triple combo! Two spring rolls, two egg rolls and a mini pho! The pho is great! Wow. I am surprised. I had to try spring rollin pho and I'm glad I did. I am also excited that they have a drive-thru! I did have to wait about 15 minutes but it was worth the wait. The weather today was gloomy and chilly, so what better comfort food than some good old pho. The lemongrass broth is tasteful and a little bit on the spicy side which is how I like it. They have 3 sizes and I ordered the medium size. The medium size is pretty big and I didn't finish the whole thing. I think the large should be good enough for two people. The to-go portion is in 2 containers with one having the broth and the other having a good portion of the noodles, beef, and veggies. They took my order with a smile and friendly service. read more

I've been holding back my review of this place because I was hoping after a number of times of buying food from here something would change. For me, it's really a hit or miss at this location. Today I ordered Pho and egg rolls/spring rolls. Let's talk about the Pho that I ordered and is in the picture I provided. We got this for take out and I emptied the contents of the 'minor' pho into a ramen bowl I own. If you look at the picture, there is hardly any broth at all so how can I call it Pho? Next is the spring rolls from this location. Sometimes the spring rolls are wrapped good and other times they aren't and fall apart with the first bite. Today it fell apart. I'm Asian and always have spring roll wrappers handy at home so guess what I've been doing mostly every time I order from here? I bring them home and wrap them in my wrappers. The owner is straight up nice and all but for some reason, this location isn't quite doing it right like the rest. I'd rather order Pho from Pho Kup, the owner's other business because these people that work at this location don't know what Pho is or know how to wrap spring rolls properly. read more

I had high hopes, but the best tasting item we ordered was the Coke Zero. The banh mi had NO mayonnaise and was as dry as sawdust. The cook also put BASIL in the sandwich, not cilantro. I've never had a banh mi with basil. The baguette wasn't authentic and looked/tasted more like a sub sandwich. The pho was a muddy/murky mess of broken noodles and barely contained any broth. By the time the broth was consumed, there was a clump of non-mixed mushy noodles at the bottom of the cup. Completely inedible. And oh, don't let me bring up the fact that there was only ONE clueless non-Vietnamese worker that was serving as greeter, cashier, and cook during the noon lunch hour! There were two other Vietnamese women arranging tables when we arrived. Why didn't they make MY FOOD or at least help in the kitchen? Coming from the Bay Area in CA, I know my Vietnamese food. Hi there! Viet person here leaving an honest review. I got the triple combo with: 1. spicy lemon grass soup with beef and thin noodles. If you ask me, the broth is dang yummy. It reminds me of the bun Bo hue broth. 5 stars. 2. Shrimp spring rolls. Basic shrimp, noodles, cucumber, crunchy, and carrot. Tastes good to me like how I would make at home. Only complaint, they wrapped it like a burrito which is fine not everyone is an expert on rolling spring rolls. 3. For those who say this place disrespect the viet spring rolls, I disagree. I got the pork spring rolls, it looks like they mix taro in it, which by the way, is normal in some if not most viet household when they make their egg rolls. Some restaurants just really cater to the masses and change the recipe to please the mostly carnivore customers. In Vietnam, meat is scares therefore, in some household they add tarp or other root vegetables to make up for the lack of meat. In turn, it tastes good at the end of the day. Service 5/5.
