I placed a door dash order for large house pho on January 23, 2026. My order arrived faster than expected, which was awesome! However, there were very few bean sprouts, but plenty of basil. There was such a small portion of the rice noodles. When I placed my door dash order I noticed that there was an option to add extra noodles for $4. Extra veggies (bean sprouts, lime, jalapeño and basil) is $3. That's on top of already paying $21 for the large Pho because I add "extra beef ball" that is $4. And this round, there was a huge chunk of gristle in a piece of the meatball. The brisket was also fatty and had hard pieces that cannot be eaten. It is frustrating that they reduce the portion and charge you extra to actually get the portion you're paying for. The broth is still very good. I was in such a rush yesterday preparing for the freeze that's coming, that I failed to take a picture. Consistently disappointed with the food delivery. I rarely ever write reviews unless I felt very strongly about my experience. The ambiance was nice, my family and I came in sometime after lunch rush, so there really wasn't a big crowd and we ordered immediately. we ordered a pretty simple meal of the farmer spring rolls, popcorn chicken, and a banh mi with a milk tea. As takeout, we expected better timeliness on our food coming out and ended up waiting about 30 minutes (after asking the workers twice) for everything to arrive. Other than the popcorn chicken, everything else is a food that can be assembled right at the front-- yet we saw none of that happening for a really long time. We're viet-- we know how spring rolls and banh mi are made and these are very simple, fast foods to assemble. There seemed to be only three workers in the front but were scattered and walking around without clear direction of what they needed to do. Also, they ran out of receipt paper but didn't tell us anything about what our order number was until we had to go in the front to ask after a while of our food not coming out. When we asked a second time about the status of our order they finally started on making our milk tea. As for the spring rolls, i could tell the person assembling them might be on the newer side since she was rolling and wrapping a little slowly. However, i was disappointed that when i opened my order, the rice paper wasn't even wrapped all the way around and ingredients spilled all over. it was quite a messy lunch for the amount of time we waited. ALSO, they didn't have my peanut sauce. The food was genuinely very good and i'm decently satisfied with the food quality, but I'm pretty upset about the lack of attention put into a meal that my family and I were waiting all this time on. especially since there was so little customers in the store at the time. Note for the workers that typically takeout orders should be one of the quicker orders to come out. we were heading to the airport and came in to a spring rolls place expecting a quick and simple lunch to bring in. I recommend coming for the quality ingredients and food. it was enjoyable and not bad if you want authentic Viet. However, you might also have to expect supppper slow service and workers that won't really pay attention to you unless you speak up. read more

They specialize in Vietnamese food, we ordered the banh mi sandwich and couple of bubble tea drinks. Also the popcorn chicken in spicy Cajun seasoning and crab lagoon. My cousin recommended the spring rolls, which were big. Looked like a mini burrito. Restaurant is nice and green, I think their theme is matcha. The customer service when we went back was good. We were offered a discount as an apology for the mixup, but the discount was small and I don't feel like it made up for the experience. Wow. This was the best bahn mi I've ever had. -The pho is pretty standard, nothing stood out for me. -The passion fruit tea was WAY over sweet, like barely drinkable. I watered it down at home. I did order it 1/4 sweet though so I was not very happy when it was THAT sweet. -Plain pandan waffle was decent, wanted more pandan flavor. I don't like the extra toppings therefore not ordered. It took a long time to come out... had to go to the cashier to ask when it's ready bc I was ready to leave (mind you.. didn't seem like a busy day, 2-3 other ppl already sitting down eating, couple drive through pick ups, I already finished my meal). -The bahn mi though... wow. Picture does the justice. Topping galore. Definitely wish there was more "meat", 2 slices, or 3 meatballs doesn't do the sandwich any justice. I mean look at it .. ITS HUGE! They need to bump up the meat portion for the sandwich to make it proportionate. 3 stars for overly sweet tea (even though ordered 1/4 sweet), bump up the meat ratio in sandwiches, and waited too long for the pandan waffle. Because it's something familiar, but with a twist. --- --- --- We drove past this place right around the time it had either just opened, or was soon-to-open, and I knew we would definitely need to come back to check it out. A few weeks later, when my wife was driving back home from Austin, we decided to meet here since it was perfectly on the way. I was a bit confused by the menu when I first walked in. It was explained that this was essentially a Chipotle-style system, where you choose between Spring Rolls, a Banh Mi Sandwich or a Banh Mi Bowl, as a base. Then you choose the meat, the starch, the veggies, the sauce, etc. I was not aware of that and was just in the mood for the standard banh mi and spring rolls, so I just had them build out each item as "the usual". We got both peanut sauce and sweet and sour sauce for dipping of the spring rolls. The peanut sauce was good, but the sweet and sour sauce was amazing. Also, these spring rolls were massive compared to the norm. We definitely enjoyed them. The banh mi was definitely very different. The bread was very thick and the sandwich just didn't quite have the same flavor as what I'm accustomed to, but it grew on me, the more that I ate it. Between this and the spring rolls, it was quite a messy lunch. We then ordered some boba teas and a waffle for dessert. I went with a guava slushy with boba, because I love guava but rarely see it on boba menus. It was enjoyable, but I'd probably opt to try something different for visit #2. But the coconut waffle was awesome. I added creme brulee cream on top and loved every bite of it. Very nice esthetic/concept. Comfortable booths/tables. Super clean restaurant with very friendly staff. Definitely plan on returning to try one of their "build your own" options. I had the brisket pho and honestly, the flavor was "lacking"... the meat could definitely be more tender and the broth was lack luster... my friend had the shrimp pho and agreed it needed a little something. Although we had different pho, we had the same broth, which tasted more like chicken with the proteins dropped in. They could definitely use some tweaking to their broth recipe. Been on a hunt for Bun Bo Hue in the area. You really have to go 45 North towards Spring area, but somebody referred me here and I'm grateful they did. The fried pork dumplings to the Thai Red Milk tea were delightful and delicious. Oh and the Bun Bo Hue, broth had so much flavor, they gave me a decent portion of noddles and generous with the meat. I don't ever leave reviews on establishments but the ambiance here and the customer service plus how tasty the food was, I had to leave something positive. Don't sleep on this place!! I eat Viet food everywhere, all parts of San Antonio, Austin, through Houston and gotta say this place is up there. Better than any spot in San Antonio, most places in Atx, and comparable to the hot spots in Houston. Something for everyone here if you've never had Vietnamese pho, banh mis, etc. (chicken nuggies for kids). Their eggrolls are hearty, my pho broth was rich, and my parents enjoyed their braised beef stew! Husband inhaled their shaken beef. Viet coffee is good and strong and next time would ask for less ice to get more out of it. We'll be back to try the egg bubble station (unsure if that is Vietnamese but great add) Great new interior design, poppy music, attentive and fast staff. Be patient if it gets busy during the cold months. Worth it. Very glad this gem is here in this growing area. Hope they keep killing it and don't change too much. read more

Some thicker than others but maybe it is hand cut instead of on a meat slicer. GF had shrimp fried rice, she doesn't like Pho. Said the rice was good and there was a lot of it as well. I decided to try this place for the first time. I drove up to the drive through and placed a small order. The lady at the window was pleasant until I paid, on which I declined the tip option as it's a drive through. Her attitude became sour, she began slamming the drive through window and practically threw my food at me when it was prepared. There was no straw for the boba tea and I wasn't about to ask through the window that was slammed shut. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't included on purpose. There is too much of an expectation for tipping now days. I have worked in the service industry, and I didn't have this expectation on someone when they ordered out. It's a drive through- you're not serving someone, it's meant to be more convenient for everyone. If it's a requirement for decent service, include it in your fees. How entitled! Having seen the way the food is prepared in front, I would have been more inclined to tip going back especially if you build up a rapport. As it was with my first experience though, I won't be going back nor recommending it to anyone. Great food, hence the 2 stars. read more

I stopped here on the way back from running errands which this place is still about 30m from home as I'm out in the country. The place is cute and the concept is nice but I was not aware that this was a build your own style like cava or chipotle. Service was great although they had to build my roll three times but overall the staff was lovely. Giving it a 3 star for my experience and flavor as the tofu was not flavorful at all. It had a seasoning on it that did not belong and was watery. I ordered what I'd normally order at any other restaurant and asked for the normal toppings. They didn't know what that was so I had to tell them. I ordered two spring rolls and a bun bowl which again is my norm. The spring rolls are MASSIVE but also messy as it broke very easily. Thus, I basically ate a bowl?? The peanut sauce was good but there was still just something missing from the spring roll. I took a bite of the japchae noodles and they tasted okay but I can't give you a good description as I'm full from the spring rolls. I'm kicking myself now as I was overwhelmed at the fact it was a build your own plate that I didn't ask for extra carrots and extra cucumbers. The amount of each that was placed in the bowl was probably the amount of a tablespoon. Now if you are eating bun, vegetables are the main reason for the meal along with your protein. Again, the tofu was not good, not enough veggies and the cucumbers were welted, I mean, the purpose of bun is the FRESH vegetables. Would I go back? Probably not until something changes on the tofu. Not to mention it's pricey for subpar food. I'll continue to make the drive from my house to eat at Saigon USA Pho or make the drive back to Tomball for Mamas Pho. read more

4.30.23 My husband was notified by Yelp that there was a new place to try in our (new) area. So we had to give them a try. The decor is so cute inside. The restaurant was nice and clean. The set up is like a poke bowl place. You pick 1 of the following; salad, sandwich or spring rolls then you add one protein then all the extra goodies. I will say the gentlemen who was making our food did not really listen to us very well. We had to tell him 3 times that my husband was ordering food too as he was trying to ring up only my food and drink. Also, making my salad bowl and then going back to make my husbands he was a little stingy with some of the fixings. I get it, food is expensive but 3 little strips of jalapeños then he wanted to charge us for 3 more strips is a little ridiculous. My salad was really good, and my husband loved his salad but a few of his japchae noodles were hard. We also ordered mango slushies. Mine with fruit popping boba and the other without any boba. The drinks were good but needed to be blended a little more. It had a lot of hard ice pieces in it. 2 salads and 2 slushies (1 w/boba) was $42. Suggestion for management: Get piña colada and popping mango boba. You can never go wrong with either one of those!!!! All in all the food and drinks were good. They just need to be more consistent with the amount they serve each customer. We will return. read more

This concept is actually really cool being able to create your own spring roll (or other menu items) they have all sorts of fillings for them. These rolls depending on how much you add inside of them can become very large so my friend and I shared and each had 1 because that was plenty for us! It was a really mellow night when we were there which was nice and the spot was super clean! They even had a kids menu for the little ones which is nice. As a native Vietnamese American I give this place my stamp of approval, I make spring rolls and pho from scratch on my own as well. I have to say first off the space is very open and inviting! It is similar to a chipotle or CAVA where you go down the line and customize your order! Or they have made options for you. My girlfriend got the spring rolls with chicken and said delicious and yes $11.50 seems expensive but it's two huge spring rolls rated 9/10 I got the regular size house special pho and I also rate it a 9/10 because the meat selection is great even raw slices of beef, brisket and meatballs great The broth was good but not knock your socks off Now however we did get this to go on our way back from the renaissance fair! All in all would love to come back and sit down and eat it's a bit of a drive for us over in Conroe but well worth it !! read more
