This right here is the most authentic and delicious Korean bites you can get in the Magnolia area!!…read moreWe ordered half Yangyeom(gochujang based sweet and spicy sauce) and Pringle(Korean cheese dry rub seasoning) chicken. The Pringle flavor is not overly sweet and has a balanced cheese flavor which is very addicting!! The Yangyeom flavor was the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and had a nice garlic kick to it. I would recommend asking for the sauce on the side if you're taking it home!! I still enjoyed the wings 100%, but they were a bit soggy. That is 100% on us as we didn't account for the extended period of time to get home due to traffic. Every piece of chicken was super juicy and cooked thoroughly!!! Now the heavy hitter on the menu was the bulgogi fries. The fries were super crispy despite being smothered in bulgogi, kimchi, and sauces. These are possibly the BEST loaded fries I've ever had. The kimchi on these fries was one of the best I've had. It wasn't overly salted, had a perfect crunch, and had a nice spicy kick to it. Overall the bulgogi, kimchi, crispy fries, and the sauces are the perfect combination for that Korean American fusion dish!!! The restaurant itself is pretty small, but they do have a seating area!! When we ordered it was only Mr. Park in the kitchen so please be mindful of that. You'll have to wait a few minutes as each order is made fresh to order and it takes time to cook these items. If you don't want to wait I recommend calling ahead and ordering so that the food will be ready when you arrive. The parking area is also a bit limited so be mindful of that as well!!! Overall I'm so happy there is a great Korean fried chicken spot here in magnolia and I don't have to drive out to Houston or Katy!!!!

I'd rate the food a 7/10. Everything was cooked well, though the sauce wasn't quite to my taste…read more The menu is on the smaller side, but the prices are reasonable -- roughly $10-15 per person. The service and ambiance were enjoyable, making it a good choice for a quick, casual meal.

However, there were very few bean sprouts, but plenty of basil. There was such a small portion of the rice noodles. When I placed my door dash order I noticed that there was an option to add extra noodles for $4. Extra veggies (bean sprouts, lime, jalapeño and basil) is $3. That's on top of already paying $21 for the large Pho because I add "extra beef ball" that is $4. And this round, there was a huge chunk of gristle in a piece of the meatball. The brisket was also fatty and had hard pieces that cannot be eaten. It is frustrating that they reduce the portion and charge you extra to actually get the portion you're paying for. The broth is still very good. I was in such a rush yesterday preparing for the freeze that's coming, that I failed to take a picture. Consistently disappointed with the food delivery. I'm going to visit in person and see what's different. Because there shouldn't be any difference.

As takeout, we expected better timeliness on our food coming out and ended up waiting about 30 minutes (after asking the workers twice) for everything to arrive. Other than the popcorn chicken, everything else is a food that can be assembled right at the front-- yet we saw none of that happening for a really long time. We're viet-- we know how spring rolls and banh mi are made and these are very simple, fast foods to assemble. There seemed to be only three workers in the front but were scattered and walking around without clear direction of what they needed to do. Also, they ran out of receipt paper but didn't tell us anything about what our order number was until we had to go in the front to ask after a while of our food not coming out. When we asked a second time about the status of our order they finally started on making our milk tea. As for the spring rolls, i could tell the person assembling them might be on the newer side since she was rolling and wrapping a little slowly. However, i was disappointed that when i opened my order, the rice paper wasn't even wrapped all the way around and ingredients spilled all over. it was quite a messy lunch for the amount of time we waited. ALSO, they didn't have my peanut sauce. The food was genuinely very good and i'm decently satisfied with the food quality, but I'm pretty upset about the lack of attention put into a meal that my family and I were waiting all this time on. especially since there was so little customers in the store at the time. Note for the workers that typically takeout orders should be one of the quicker orders to come out. we were heading to the airport and came in to a spring rolls place expecting a quick and simple lunch to bring in. I recommend coming for the quality ingredients and food. it was enjoyable and not bad if you want authentic Viet. However, you might also have to expect supppper slow service and workers that won't really pay attention to you unless you speak up.

The staff was one of the biggest highlights of our visit. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. They checked on us often without ever making us feel rushed or interrupted, which is a balance that's surprisingly hard to find. Unfortunately, the food just didn't live up to the experience. While everything arrived fresh and looked appealing, the flavors were very underwhelming. Most of our meal was bland and lacked the seasoning or depth that would make us want to come back. We kept expecting each bite to have that classic diner comfort-food flavor, but it never quite got there. I genuinely wanted to love this place because the people and the atmosphere were wonderful. With a few improvements to the food, I think Magnolia Diner could be really good. I appreciate the hospitality we received and hope the kitchen finds a way to match the quality of the service.

Fairly modern construction. Decorated in vintage movie posters clean and in good repair. Prompt and friendly service. The food was all good, freshly made. The onion rings stood out with slightly crunchy onions. I ordered the Reuben. Which is corned beef, Sauerkraut, and melted swiss cheese on rye. Excellent. Overall, this is a solid choice if you want to time teavel to a Diner with retro food.

Had to wait about 10 minutes but it was good and fresh. Tasted like southern catfish and I ordered combo with 3 filets, fries, okra and hush puppies. That was mid-April. Come mid-August, I stopped again and ordered 2 fish with fries and drink. This time I ordered ahead to reduce my wait. I get to the window and this annoying lady with bright red lipstick asks me to pay, super aggressive standing ten toes down I didn't pay. Even condescending telling me the POS it at the window and not back there (pointing towards the order speaker). Like girl what?!?! She says ima get my manager. Only to come back to the window just handing me my food. No cause where is your apology or even acknowledgement that you were loud and WRONG. I questioned her about it and purposely started driving away mid-answer. To make the experience even worse, the fish was overcooked and dry. Tasted nothing like Apr, I wasn't sure what kinda fish it even was. Fries were good but they gave me a roll instead of hush puppies!!! Lastly I ordered a 32oz soda and they gave me 28oz of ice!!! smdh

And then it just so happened that we had something to do in the area coming up, so it was a really easy decision to plan our lunch destination that day. We were tempted to order two chicken fried steaks, since that was apparently the main event here, but just to try something different, I ordered a burger and she ordered the large CFS so there'd be plenty for me to try. But we started off with the mixed basket of fried treats and it hit the spot pretty well. A solid 4-stars here. The chicken fried steak gets 10-stars for its size (photo attached with a cell phone next to it for scale. 4-stars for the quality. Enjoyable, but not, "I absolutely have to go back" level. The double bacon cheeseburger was... fine. My wife commented that it looked like two frozen patties and that seemed pretty accurate. 3-stars. With my burger, I subbed in mac-n-cheese instead of fries. I have to say, this might be the worst mac I've ever had. The first bite I took was lukewarm, at best. But it basically tasted like a flavorless, soggy noodle. I took about 3 bites and just set it aside. 1-star. We finished with some banana pudding and it was an enjoyable finish. With real bananas, even. 4-stars. As I said at the top, I'm probably rounding up for this 4-stars, but we were glad to support a modest, family owned business.

We ordered and they brought these rolls to the table. I picked it up (still warm) buttered it and took a bite and my next words were "oh sweet Jesus." Best dinner roll i have ever had in my life. And there is real whipped butter on the table (score). My chicken fried steak was good. Tastes fresh and a good portion. Good gravy. The green beans were delicious and the black eyed peas were good. The banana pudding made a good dessert and was a sharing size. Fresh banana slices on the bottom, whip cream on top. A great value overall and if we lived closer we would be regulars.
