Love love loved my ice cream cone. In the city center, the shop can't be missed. Came for some dessert after our meal and decided to just get a kid scoop which you can still choose two flavors. I opted for the moose tracks and huckleberry. The moose tracks was a mixture of vanilla with fudge and chocolate peanut butter. I'd love some more peanut butter but I just love peanut butter. For the huckleberry, it was a robust punch of blueberry and blackberry. For less than $3, it was a perfect treat. They charge 10cents if you use cc below $3 and they close on Tuesday. Definitely a great place for dessert after (or before) dinner. read more

This is such a cute candy shop. I came in for ice cream, and mainly expected to find them scooping Dreyer's. Instead, they were serving up Farr's, which the staff informed us was from Ogden and voted Utah's best. They also had some choice sparkling drinks. The cashier who rang us up was also very friendly. After 3 nights of camping and hiking Emerald pool, Angels landing and The Narrows we decided to award ourselves with ice cream and candy. What a treat after a hike! We initially wanted ice cream and was going to go to the ice cream window at The Lodge but I saw the Yelp reviews on this place and we decided to come here. We were in town returning our narrows gear. Many ice cream flavor options and they sure are generous! They pack on the ice cream! Secret: it's better to get one scoop but ask for half and half! It's almost as much as 2 scoops! I got the huckleberry and the moose tracks. Both very very delicious!! It wasn't too sweet but had great flavors. I don't know if they make their own ice cream but it was rich and creamy. We also got some chocolate pieces. They make their chocolate pieces there at the window. I only wish they had rocky road (didn't see it) but I got the marshmallow, macadamia chocolate and coconut chocolate... All very tasty. After eating some pizza, we decided to continue our healthy food splurge by eating some ice cream. Found this little quaint place with a small crowd in it, so thought it must be good. Yep, it didn't disappoint. Not sure where the ice cream is from but it was nice, cold, and creamy, with just the right amount of sugar. I had the butter pecan and sopped up every last bite of it. Out a waffle cone mind you. And the workers here are super chill and nice. They even gave my little tykes some candy. Small town candy shop with a wide variety of sugary goodness? Yep, we'll stop in! We were taken care of by a super nice employee (part owner?) - I got a couple of pieces of chocolate and caramels and chocolate covered so and sos and they were all delicious. Really, you can't go wrong. You pay by the pound, so choose as many or as little as you'd like. The wife got taffy - a mixed bag for about $3.40. I still don't understand who likes licorice? A little less than half the bag was licorice flavored. We tossed those because...well they were licorice. The rest however - had some pretty awesome flavor to them. It was fun trying to guess what was what - then popping it in your mouth to confirm. All around this is a great spot to stop and get some homemade sweets. read more

In Springdale,, there are not very many places to eat probably....like a good 10 and not very many stores. However, as small as this town is, there was still a candy store! Thank god! If you have sugar cravings like me, then this is where you need to be. They have ice cream, milkshakes and tons of candy. Since I hiked a hard trail earlier in the day I thought I deserved candy and some ice cream. Sounds logical to me. My favorite items were the chocolate covered Oreos, graham crackers, and marshmallows. My friend found great souvenirs for the 6 kids she had to buy for. She bought bags of taffy, cricket lollipops (yes real crickets) and bags of chocolate rocks for all under $30. My friend and I stayed at the Zion Park Motel. After a long day of hiking, we were craving ice cream even though it was freezing outside. We Yelped this place and decided to check it out. Pretty small store that appears to be family owned and run. They have homemade candies and chocolates that look amazing. They have a ice cream station as well which we got. Please note that 1 scoop is actually 2 large baseball sized scoops. So I "split" 1 scoop into two flavors - moose tracks and cookie dough - and they were both amazing. This review is for the staff, we have been here multiple times and always enjoyed our visit, today we went and my 87 year old grandmother she was having trouble standing, tired from the heat while we were waiting to order. I asked if we could bring a chair in just while we were ordering the woman in the front said no for fear of others wanting to sit inside. We are very upset with the lack of accommodation empathy and general decency. Hopefully they learn to have more respect for their elder customers. Until then we will be taking our business to one of the other dessert locations in town. read more

When I was on my trip to Zion national park. I stopped by here to get a little dessert after my dinner. I wanted ice cream and ended up getting ice cream and candy. They not only carry ice cream but various candies and chocolate too. They make the chocolate in house. The ice cream is really good because it is homemade in the store. I got one scoop but two flavors in one. I got strawberry and cookies and cream. I definitely recommend this place if you are in Utah or driving through it. read more

We tried some chocolates here, and they were excellent. Not so excellent that I'd say you should go out of your way to get them, but if you happen to be at Zion, I would recommend them. I tried a s'more, and the candied ginger: both quite tasty. However, I also tried their ice cream, and I *will* tell you to go out of your way for it - most of their ice cream they just buy wholesale and then sell, but they also make one rotating flavor in-house. When I was there a couple weeks ago, that flavor was chocolate with New Mexico green chili (!), which sounds like a pretty dumb ice cream flavor, unless you're really excited about weird ice cream like I am, but it was seriously soooooo good. Just too bad it sounds like they'll almost certainly have something different if I happened to be back in Zion in the future, cause I would absolutely go out of my way to get that again. It was really quite amazingly good ice cream. It was also a *huge* scoop for the fact that it was supposedly a "single" scoop. read more

Walking down the little strip in Springdale after dinner I was craving a sweet treat. We stumbled upon the Springdale Candy Company and I'm so happy we did. We were greeted by three smiling faces eager to show us around the shop. I immediately went to the back to get some ice cream, and they were kind enough to let me try a few flavors. One of the flavors I tried was lavender and as strange as that sounds it was actually pretty good. I went with your classic vanilla ice cream with sprinkles on a waffle cone and I was not disappointed!
