Checked into this hotel to visit some family in New Jersey. I have stayed here before because it's convenient for my visit. My room was clean and comfortable once again. The air conditioning worked perfectly to keep the room very comfortable. My biggest complaint would be the lighting in the room, I found it to be very dark and very dimly lit. I wanted to sit at the desk to do my makeup but I couldn't see! Please put some brighter light bulbs in the rooms!! I hate how dark hotel rooms have become! The bathroom is nice and spacious with a walk in shower and is lit well. The room has the usual mini fridge and microwave. They offer a complimentary breakfast but I go out to eat so I can't speak to that. This hotel isn't convenient to walk to anything. You definitely need a car to get around and they have a parking lot with free parking. There is a gas station right next door with a small store that you can walk to but that's about it. The hotel also has a small area in the lobby where they sell drinks and a few snack items for your convenience.

It was clean, good location for what I needed to do. Decent breakfast and nice staff. I guess places don't have luggage caddys anymore...so I used the ottoman! Weird closet fastener. Stay was just fine...

Arrived for a funeral. Very nice person at the front desk. The room looked nice. Sat down at the desk to find a curly black hair on it. There were toenail clippings on the carpet. Then I noticed a bodily fluid on the couch. I will not go into disgusting detail, but I reported this to the manager. They sent maintenance, but no apology. The breakfast was terrible, compared to similar Springhill Suites, or Hilton properties. The room was not cleaned the night before the funeral. The manager explained that at 9 AM there was a "do not disturb" tag on the door. It was there for 10 minutes while I showered. I then asked the cleaning person to do the room. When I arrived after the wake, nothing had been cleaned. The manager explained that if you had a do not disturb at 9 AM, your room would not be cleaned, for the day. I looked through the disclaimers and did not find any mention of this policy. Is this a new Marriott policy? The manager offered a 25% discount but never applied it to the bill. I am a long time Marriott Bonvoy member, and this is not the level of service or accommodation that Marriott is known for. The nearby Hampton Inn, is a much safer bet.

Great Place, Great Staff I had a mini Wellness Retreat here Back in Oct. 2022‍it was a beautiful, quaint space overlooking an ascetically, scenic view of the lake. The wildlife that visited us (turtles) were welcoming. I will definitely revisit ThkU Springhill for accommodating the ChiMoDa Yoga Goddess Tribe

I would have given a 5 stars, but our room wasn't cleaned and our linens weren't changed when we arrived back to the hotel around 10pm. That and a few minor things such as the AC unit not feeling as cold even though it was on 65, and more lighting in the room would be nice. It's on the dim side. We had left the hotel around 9:30am that morning. Before we left for the day, I had called the front desk to clarify if they do daily housekeeping and refresh the toiletries/linens or if we need to request it. Front desk was pleasant and confirmed they do and house keeping should be working their way throughout the day to us. Front desk stated to ensure the "do not disturb" sign was not on the door. Which we complied. So it was a huge disappointment, when we arrived back and the beds were not fixed and the towels were still piled in a stack on the bathroom floor. I called the front desk and asked for someone to bring a fresh set of towels and toiletries. Front desk was genuinely apologetic and someone from housekeeping promptly arrived with towels and toiletries. Everything about the hotel, minus the housekeeping incident and missing the location several times on the first night was exceptional. Although, I'm not sure if it was our GPS or the physical address plugged in. But, we definitely experienced our "look kids, Big Ben moment." Front desk was friendly as well as the entire staff we interacted with. It's a fairly new hotel Or either recently updated? It's very clean, the room was very clean and smelled fresh when we first checked-in. The room was HUGE, as are most Springhill Suites. There were three of us and we didn't feel cramped at all. My sister even had room to walk her laps INSIDE the room. The furniture is by West Elm. I only knew this because it had West Elm emblazoned on the wood portion of the couch. The room can fit up to comfortably five adults if you book a 2 queen bed room. The couch itself is super comfy and deep with thick cushions. It's not an actual pull out bed. It's more a day bed. If you remove the back cushions it's exactly a twin or full sized bed. More a full size level? When we lifted the cushions, the slats are built like a bed frame. They do have an extra fitted sheet and blankets for the day bed. They have a small microwave and a mini fridge the size of a cooler. There is a k cup single coffee/tea maker. A desk with a comfy office chair. The TV is located off center to the left of the room, but the tv does swivel left or right. So you can see the tv sitting on the couch or office chair or from either bed. The bathroom.is.HUGE. I loved that! The door is a frosted barn door with a lock which is a bonus! It's a space saver! I like that the toilet is on the opposite end of the shower. I'm not exaggerating when I say the toilet is probably a 10-12 foot walk to the shower. The lighting in the bathroom is great at the sink and they have a separate light for just the toilet and the shower. Ok, I forgot another super minor issue. The shower curtain is too short! It barely meets the lip of the tub, so even though we had the floor towel down, water leaked out. The tub lip is actually low, so that's nice. the water temp allowed for a good hot or cold shower and there was a strong steady stream. The design of the tub has a slight gradual grade towards the back of the shower where the drain is located versus at the front of the shower. So even if the water drains slowly you're not standing in a pool of water. The closet, was huge as well. It is a walk in closet with an iron and ironing board and plenty of low and high level shelving and you don't have all your luggage and extras sprawled out in the room. I truly appreciate that they were able to fulfill my request for a pond view, even with us arriving late at night. They also thanked me for being a Gold Elite member when I checked in, although I don't believe there were any extra perks at the moment. AC- It was pumping out cold air for sure. But I didn't have the bed next to the unit. So I wasn't feeling the effect of that frigidness that my other sister was experiencing with her choosing the bed next to it. I'm not sure if it was the bench that was impeding the air flow that sits over the unit, or if it was just super hot (in the 90's) , or if everyone else was cranking their AC. We were on the third floor and had a beautiful view of the pond and the patio with the fire pit. We could also see Lake Château banquet hall from our window. Breakfast: LOVED the breakfast! I was pleasantly surprised with the vast selection of food! I love my proteins! The best part, is there were cold and HOT foods. Not a continental breakfast and everything except the fruit, waffle batter and hard boiled eggs were individually wrapped!! So very hygienic!! Absolutely love this!! Breakfast on the weekends are served from 7am-10am.

This time, there were four of us, and one person ordered the Blue Buzz cocktail for $25. It was honestly one of the most disgusting drinks we've ever tasted. My friend only took two sips before leaving the entire drink. We called the waiter over and explained that the drink was terrible. He was nice enough to bring her a different drink, but the original $25 cocktail was never removed from the bill. We asked if they could take it off since it was obvious she barely touched it, but they refused. It wasn't even about the money--it was the principle. When a customer clearly doesn't drink a cocktail because it's that bad, good customer service would be to remove it from the check, especially after acknowledging the issue by replacing it. Based on this experience, we won't be returning. If you do decide to visit, I would definitely avoid the Blue Buzz cocktail.

It's probably the largest hotel in the area and was hosting a film industry convention while I was there. I have stayed at this hotel a few times before and my rating improved slightly this time, especially given they gave me a courtesy upgrade owing to a shortage of King bed rooms which I reserved, but there are several issues that keep the rating nearly the same. 1. Reservations are still executed centrally via Marriott and the wait time could be a moment, but was easier to navigate through the prompts this time. Staff are friendly and efficient at the front desk when one checks in and out. 2. The hotel lacks amenities of a hotel this size. It does have a pool, but has no shop evident where one could buy a charger, toothbrush or aspirin if one forgot to bring the like. 3. The upgraded King Suite had no microwave or refrigerator. The dark and smooth tile on the bathroom floor can become dangerously slippery if the shower leaks water running across that floor and the towel laid down on the floor does not catch all the runoff. You may not see the water runoff on the dark tile and could lose your footing. Be careful. The toilet paper could benefit from better placement, making it less awkward to reach. You will hunt around for light switches on the walls and next to your bed the first time entering the dark room. The televisions and room a/c unit worked well, but the a/c heating unit was a bit noisy. 4. At well over two hundred dollars a night for a King room, there is no breakfast voucher for the cafe on the ground level to the right of the entrance. The cafe has a very basic menu and they serve your order as if it's to go in a bag, with boxes inside. If you specify that you are eating in your room, that would be fine. However, it's wasteful of paper and cardboard when a plate would suffice and be easier from which to eat. As a captive audience, it's the only thing immediately within reach. A few scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, twin pancakes and small coffee is nineteen bucks. Not bad, but could and would be better if competitive options were immediately available. This hotel benefits from a lack of real competition in the immediate area. The price points are a bit high for what you get and that is a consequence of a lack of real competition in the area, inflation notwithstanding. The friendly and respectful staff deserve your attention. The people who work here from the front desk to housekeeping have been great each time. 3.2 stars

The lobby is spacious, the staff is nice-ish, & the rooms are good-ish. But then you start to notice the details ... like: - The painters tape on the peeling ceiling. - The pillows with the consistency of almost-dry cement. - The dangerously large potholes in the parking lot. - The large security deposit required that didn't correlate with the quality of the hotel. & finally, the biggest offense of all: - The super pungent, overwhelming, inexplicable smell of sewage emanating from all drains in the bathroom. Most other lodging options in the area are either really expensive or really dodgy. This hotel is one of the only options that's sorta somewhere in the middle. I probably would not stay here again.
