This review is for online orders. If they have what you need in-stock, they're fine. Unfortunately, you have no way of knowing if they do. They have a counter on their website telling you how long you have to get same-day shipping. What they don't tell you is if they have ANY stock of what you're ordering - you will get the order confirmation email, but no shipping confirmation if they are missing one single item. You will eventually contact them, to be told that their policy is that they will only ship complete orders, so you'll just have to wait. In summary, they tell you that you're going to get same-day shipping, but you may not, and you've no way of knowing in advance. It wouldn't be quite so bad if they contacted you to ask what you want to do, and would send what they have (if it's useful to you). Using a 'policy' to justify a lack of customer service, is really poor. read more

I ordered from this company maybe 8 years ago and it was a great experience. I needed some rotors with more rise so I saw they had the best price on the Toro T5. They were shown as in stock and when you are on hold and on their website it claims "in stock items ship same day if ordered before 3pm". I needed to ask questions and their chat wasn't working on their website. So I called and tried tech support. I was 8th in line and after about 35 minutes I was 1st in line, then it just hung up. I tried again with customer support and after about 30 minutes the same thing happened. I then just called and selected no option and after about 40 minutes I got someone and she attempted to answer my questions. I then placed the order online and immediately got an email confirmation. After a couple of days it still said "processing" and I noticed the item I ordered was no longer listed on their website. I called again and had a similar experience as before. On about the third attempt I finally talked to someone (I think the same woman as before) and she said the item wasn't in stock, that Toro was shut down with no estimated date of opening up again so they had no idea when they would get more in. I asked her to cancel the order and she said ok and I got off the phone. After several hours it still said "processing" so I sent them an email. 2 days later I still have not received an email response from them, I haven't received a refund and it still says "processing" on their website. I would definitely stay away from this company. It is possible these issues are caused by COVID-19 issues. But if that is the case they need to be upfront instead of acting like nothing is out of the ordinary. read more

In my case, they do not honor the same day shipping stated on website. In fact, I ordered on a Wednesday morning and it was not shipped until Tuesday of the following week. I contacted their customer service by phone and after waiting on hold 20 minutes, was told it had shipped out same day of pervious week. Later that afternoon, I received a FedEx notification saying my order was just now being shipped. I contacted customer service and they told me it was because of the shipping option I selected... I live in Southern CA, and it should not take 10 days to receive an order. Bottom line, they do not honor the shipping time frame they claim. And customer service is not up to par. This review is only for their online store... These guys are terrible! Awful! Zero communication, zero customer service, totally misleading delivery aspects, and I find out too late that their prices aren't even competitive with local businesses! I designed a small irrigation setup for a portion of my yard. I put together a package of components and on 6/13 asked them to review to make sure all the components are compatible and would fit. They replied back saying they "don't do design" aspects. So, I took a chance with the components. Their main headline across their website is "Order Today, Ships Today!". I placed an order on 6/22 and on 6/25 I requested a status of the order which was "processing" on their site. It remained "processing" until 6/28 at which point they sent me a tracking number. On 7/1, a box arrived but it contained only part of the order. They sent out another box on 7/5 which fulfilled the entire order. As I'm putting it together, turns out they sent me the wrong part! I asked them about the correct part but no response. I finally found a company a few miles from my house and obtained the correct part. Just for fun, I get a quote on the same parts I purchased at SprinklerWarehouse.com and I would have saved $47 at my local store ... AND I would have had my drip system up and running by now. If they were the last irrigation supply company on earth, I would let my yard die rather than purchased or deal with SprinklerWarehouse.com. And what about all their stellar reviews on their website?? I call BS! Maybe their local store is better at communication and customer support, but their online presence needs a major overhaul. This place used to be great with excellent service. They have gone off a cliff now. No customer service. I ordered some rotary heads. The order was short some pieces and one head is defective. No response on their phone line (on hold for over two hours sometimes only to get cut off) and no response to multiple emails. The employees are super friendly and super helpful. There is no minimum purchase like Ewing and non-wholesale purchasers are not overcharged like at Ewing. Excellent! Friendly, knowledgeable. Visited initially to rent an underground cable locator. Rented on Friday and then only charged me one day to return on Monday. The line locating device worked great. Bought a few parts that I couldn't find at Home Depot or Lowe's. They were also less expensive than the stores. My interaction with Sprinkler Warehouse has always been in person. The first time i went it I brought a picture of a busted valve after one of those freak winter freeze in Houston. Sales guy took a look at the picture and knew exactly what I needed. He explained to me what I should do. When I got home I fumbled around and got the job done. Second time I came in one of my sprinkler head was broken, or so I thought.They explained it me it was just a 90 degree elbow on the bottom that is broken and I just needed to replace that. I didn't know you could unscrew it. The sale guy even gave it to me for free. Thanks to that I recently had another leak at the sprinkler head and knew how to fix it. While service may not be instant like Amazon, I saved a few hundred dollars ordering the sprinkler valves, heads and nozzles through Sprinkler Warehouse. I had the same issue as a couple of others pointed out where the order won't get shipped out if one of the items is out of stock, but got on the chat to get an update on the order and they were happy to send out the order in split shipments. I even got back on the chat and substituted some of the out of stock heads with in stock heads and they made the changes right then and there and received the shipping confirmation an hour later. Just got done with customer service again on a few returns and only had to wait a minute or two for someone to connect and help. If you can plan ahead on a project I would still highly recommend saving the money and shopping with Sprinkler Warehouse. read more

After writing the original review stating I had not received my order of 4 sprinkler heads, I did receive a shipment of 2 sprinkler heads. I have heard nothing regarding the remaining 2. I tried today to escalate a claim with PayPal but they denied the claim because Sprinkler Warehouse submitted proof of shipment. It was proof of the 2 I received. I now have no other option except to explain that I do not trust this company to provide the parts ordered. I am a return online buyer at Sprinkler Warehouse (SW). How I wish they had a physical store near me! 7 years ago we bought a large-property home with several irrigated acres. SW doesn't know it, but they've been my partner over the years as my home has transitioned from unnaturally green with a massive 4500 sq ft lawn (LOTS of sprayers), to a more natural desert-scape (lots of drip). We now have 11 circuits irrigating: a fruit orchard, non-fruit trees, shrubs, ground cover, cactus, lilies, 2 big compost heaps, plus a rockstar-grade lush garden. I buy drip tubing by the mile. I could open a small shop with all the spare irrigation parts i have accumulated over the years, lol. My water bill is but a tiny fraction of its former self. Best of all, my property fits in with the natural environment & isn't trying to be something it shouldn't be. I've spent hundreds at SW & never had an issue. Shipping is not like Amazon, so you just have to plan ahead a bit more than if you ordered there. But SW crushes Amazon in price & selection in the irrigation world. read more

Not sure what has changed in the past year at Sprinkler Warehouse but their shipping is now the worst. Ordered online on Friday 4-19-19, order was accepted, order status pending. Called on Monday 4-22-19 and found out they were closed on Friday, not an issue and that the order was being processed. Their policy is ships same day if ordered by specific time. Called Tuesday 4-23-19 afternoon to see why still not shipped and was told it had shipped. I explained that I was looking at the FedEx tracking website and the package still had not been picked up from Sprinkler Warehouse. Was told that the FedEx website was wrong. Received update from FedEx saying package was picked up last night and scheduled for delivery now on Friday. There are lots of other online retailers out there that I will now give a try. read more

While the website and product availability is excellent customer service is poor. Be warned that if you purchase an array of products and one is not in stock, your order will be in perpetual limbo until the order is complete. There is no communication even after a few weeks to tell you that. Also, the best time to call is in the morning it seems..... in the afternoon and in season.....you can be on hold for an hour + before speaking to someone. From now on I will order things I need OFF season. Management needs to review their customer service as no doubt, much business will otherwise go to other vendors. I ordered a controller but have not received it. Fedex did not deliver the package to our address. I have tried to talk with S.W. but do not give any answers. I have surveillance video which shows no delivery to our house, but S.W. claims they received information the package was delivered. Fedex shows package as being delivered, but if they did it was not to us, or a neighbor on either side or across, our video shows no truck stopped near our house. Sprinkler Warehouse is the worst place I have ever encountered. Trying to cancel payment now ... nothing but aggravation. They took my money but will not do anything regarding a misdelivered package. I placed my order on May 2, 2018. I paid for the priority service as advertised on their website. I'm also a listed and approved Contractor. My order was quite large and my credit card was charged the same day as my order. I was contacted the next day and told that two items on the order were on back order so they wouldn't ship my order until everything was in place. I spoke with the customer service manager, Isaac, on May 8, 2018 and was told my entire order would ship out that day. Today is May 9, 2018. I contacted customer service again and asked to speak with Isaac as I still do not have shipping confirmation. After a very lengthy hold... Isaac informed me that my order now was being red flagged for additional payment. They actually wanted me to wire transfer them more money to ship the order even though they had already been paid through my credit card. I'm filing a fraud claim today against them with my bank.
