If you're craving fries smothered in any and everything, here's your place! I really enjoyed the variety of menu options. They even have poutine! (Obviously) but you can choose from two different sizes and customize your own plate! Or, just choose from one of their specials. My only complaint is they should offer waffle fries as an option. It's pretty heavy and I hard a hard time eating a whole thing so I would recommend date nice or finding someone to share it with. They have an option to eat inside or outside which was nice. Staff was super friendly! Also, I LOVED the soda bar! I've genuinely never seen so many flavors in one place and I was obsessed honestly. Overall, give it a try if you love potatoes!

I'm a huge potato fan-I like 'em baked, mashed, fried, diced or any other way that I can eat them. It's cool, then, that there's a restaurant dedicated to this versatile vegetable. The format is pretty familiar-you order at the counter off a menu, or you can build your own and have a delectable dish prepared in front of you. I found the menu to be vast and full of options, but I still opted to do the create your own dish since I'm a pretty simple eater. My lunch consisted of mashed potatoes, gravy, turkey and green beans. I was feeling a little nod to Thanksgiving, I suppose. Fun concept, good food.

The food is great as it has been the last 30 or so times I came in. This policy of charging me to use a credit card is ridiculous. Businesses need to be willing to pay the transaction fee (which is no where near the 3% being charged here) in order to bring in more customers. Sadly I am a long time customer who won't be back...

We still come here about once a month! It's something different than usual fast food. We would probably come more often if it was slightly less expensive. My favorite is the buffalo chicken garbage fries. There is plenty of food (it doesn't keep very well if you have leftovers)! Plenty of chicken, love the amount of buffalo sauce and the ranch dip is still amazing! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

I'm normally not a huge baked potato fan but at spudtoddos they have all awesome fixing. I got mine covered in Chile, onion, and cheese and it was really fantastic!

I love this place! I just wish I lived closer to it. I always order the chili cheese baked potato! They load it up and it's so yummy! It is very filling. If you're a potato lover I recommend giving this place a try!

The spud skins are AMAZING! I would buy those again and again! The sweet frybread (with cinnamon sugar) is my new favorite dessert! It's better than a scone! I got the chili cheese fries and I felt like they were lacking a little flavor. I added some salt and it helped a lot. My husband ordered the buffalo ones and they were so good! I think I might get those next time. We'll be back for more delicious food!

From the outside of the inside, this appears to be your typical restaurant, where you just place your order, watch them, make your food, and pay for it before taking it to your table. The restaurant is clean, and tables are kept tidy. Now I've noticed from other reviews that people are complaining about the price. Let us be clear on this the portion that you are paying for is huge. Easily enough for 2 to 3 people. Unless you are currently stretching your stomach in training for the Coney Island hotdog eating contest you're not going to be able to finish this in one meal and possibly two meals. If you were looking for bang for your back when it comes to food portions, and what you were paying for, you were getting a fantastic deal at SpudToddo's. The food is good. It is homey comfort food, and it is filling. And with the variety of flavors that you can choose or put together on your own, everyone is going to find something they like here. The only reason this did not get four stars, is because the food came out less hot than I would like and surprisingly, it needed salt. I do not salt my food very much so I'm always surprised when I feel like I need to salt my food. I'm sure they had salt available by the other condiments, but I did not go searching for it. There is a vast rate of flavors to mix in your sodas if you go for that thing. There are also some fun soda flavors at the soda machine. The most amazing thing about this place, is that most things are gluten-free. They even have gluten-free gravy upon request. My daughter was so excited to be able to order almost anything from that menu. And to have most of the desserts also gluten-free was a huge bonus. That rarely happens. I can only assume that the owner has family members who need to be gluten-free. Note that the gluten free dessert was from a commercial gluten free company. The employees spread titles will put on nucleus for anyone who requires gluten-free. I felt comfortable that my daughter would not have a problem here. Is located at the Jordan Landing shopping area across the street from Cinemark movie theaters. I hope they would consider also moving to the district near the Megaplex. If they were closer to the movie theater, I normally go to, I think this would be one of my go, places before movies

GETTING HERE: I can't give specific directions beyond the listing on Yelp, as I was visiting friends and family in Utah and one of my cousins recommended this place for a quick bite for dinner. I remember it being in a strip mall area of sorts. :) REVIEW: Yes, so very good! If I had planned better I would have reviewed the menu beforehand, but alas, it's all good. There are many options (of your potato) to choose from. Don't get overwhelmed as I did and choose the firs thing that comes to your mind: although there's never a wrong time to choose French Fries, IMO. Customer service was friendly enough, and there's a big open area of seating to choose from. I would imagine this place gets very busy on the weekends. I chose Fries, obvi, but then didn't take a moment to plan the rest of my meal. You have more options to choose from as well (types of protein, toppings, etc.) and I just choose everything I could. Not a smart look, but I survived. When I return to Utah I will eat here again to give up an updated/better review. I can't wait for my next trip! Also, just a tip: I would suggest asking for your toppings (Ranch, Sour Cream, etc.) on the side otherwise you get a soupy mess. A GOOD soupy mess, but messy none the less. Definitely recommend! First time trying SpudToddos after hearing a lot of great things. The service was great, I was excited and overwhelmed by the options and they made some helpful recommendations. I got the Tera's Favorite, but was very torn. I'll be going back to try the Canadian Garbage Fries/Poutine. I enjoyed what I ordered, just wasn't a big fan of the grilled chicken. I may order the same thing in the future without the grilled chicken. I recommend this place for anyone who loves taters. :)

I've tried a few custom orders and have enjoyed each one. They have an awesome drink set up where you can make your own beverage much like Fiz or Swig so it makes it a fun place to go too! read more

Here for sons birthday....we had two kinds of routine. Yum! Hubby had a hash with jalapenos, sour cream, etc and also enjoyed it. Yummy food that is total carb overload, even with the half size dishes. Those were big enough. I don't know how anyone could eat a full size...and we can eat! Lol Bonus? Create your own soda even has sugar free options! Thank you!!! read more

This restaurant has come up a few times and I have been wanting to check it out. Wowza, this place is something else! I love potatoes so I knew I would love it. One reason that I was hesitant to come here is because I knew how hard it would be to be able to decide on one thing. I literally would be okay with the whole menu in one bowl. My nightmare came true when I visited; I was soooo lost on what to get and everything sounded amazing! So I decided to at least go halfsies. As you'll see by the menu, it was only a little bit more! So I got the fries and the mashed for my potatoes. On my mashed, I got turkey, turkey gravy, corn, green beans and cheddar cheese. On my fries, I got pulled pork, bbq sauce, nacho cheese and bacon. I got a side of ranch with chives over the top of all of it. I'll admit, I was a bit confused on what I could choose and not choose (for free at least). The girl behind the counter was really really sweet. The service in general was really awesome. I will say, there was an issue with my receipt in which I was overcharged. I went to their website and reached out to them on there (they have a way to contact them through a forum) to see if they could help me with my receipt. If I was in the wrong, I just wanted an explanation. If I was actually charged wrong, then even store credit would be nice. I showed Todd my receipt and explained what I got vs what I paid for. As it turns out, there was an error in ringing me up. However, Todd offered to send the difference to me in the mail & I will be excited to receive that as it will be a good incentive to go back! The drink station is phenomenal, even more cool when you have a free drink because of the check in. I really love the concept and everything SpudToddos has to offer! read more

Make sure you go during the lunch or dinner hours since most of the food is on a steam table. When I went it was after the lunch rush. The food was really picked over which made for limited choices. Even though only employees serve it to you, It would look much more appealing and appetizing if they would keep it cleaner by wiping up after themselves between customers choosing what they want. I got the turkey with mashed potatoes, stuffing l, jgravy, and steamed broccoli. The food was great ! But the broccoli wasn't steamed long enough. read more

I got the gluten free poutine and it was SO SALTY I couldn't even finish it. My mouth was burning from salt. The sweet garbage fries were pretty tasty... the glaze on them plus bacon was so yummy. And yes, the gluten free chocolate cake was good, but I'm pretty sure I've had that exact cake at Smith's. read more

I feel like I've never written so many bad reviews. The food in SLC is just not delivering. Lots of great concepts, lots of good marketing but the quality is just BAD! This place is super gross! Franken-meat for the turkey dinner. Mash potatoes that are lumpy. How someone can make potatoes taste bad is beyond me. Fake cranberry sauce. Disgusting stuffing that looks regurgitated. What's it made of? The whole dinner was drizzled in, yes, you guessed it, fake gravy, disgusting bacon, and spring onions. So, so, so gross! Never again! read more

Love this place Large portions, yummy food and great service. If you like baked potatoes or potatoes in anyway,this is the place! I normally add turkey, cornbread stuffing, gravy, green onions, bacon and cranberry citrus sauce and sour cream on mine and it's a festival of favors in my mouth. Try it! ;) read more

Stopped here for a late lunch after a day of shopping. Fan of potatoes? You'll love this place! Lots of yummy potatoes, any way you'd like :) I opted for the pulled pork garbage fry, half size, plus a small side salad. The pulled pork fries were yummy! The pulled pork was sweet and a generous portion, the fries were hot, with meaty cheese on top, and I loved the corn and fresh chives which added some freshness. For the small side salad, I was given the choice of cheese and dressing, plus three toppings. I liked that I could have something fresh to go along side the potato dish. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. I was the only customer at first, so service was very fast and personable! One thing I really liked is the flavored syrups they offer for drinks. Added a little lime and coconut to my Pepsi! read more

Honestly wasn't impressed. The Thanksgiving dinner was whatever and It tasted like canned corn, green beans, and cheap stuffing. The buffalo fries were just so so, covered in sauce and tons of melted cheese. It's super over priced for what you get and I probably won't eat here again. read more

Wasn't too impressed. Overpriced for a potato bar. Food was luke warm and if you don't eat it quickly it congeals into a massive ball of cheese. My wife mentioned her salad was salty. Seems the mo is to drown the potato in some sauce and melted cheese. Not sure why it was rated 4.5 stars, but hey maybe Utahns don't know good food??? No intention of coming coming back. read more

As my daughter who loves mashed potatoes said, whoever thought of a restaurant that is potatoes based is a genius." If you love yourself some potatoes, this is a place for you. Sweet, baked, fried or mashed- they have it. Then you can put pretty much anything on it, including chocolate! This is a yummy and fun place to eat. Also, it's not very busy, at least when we come, which is nice for us. Finally, they have plenty of gluten free and dairy free options, which is important for my family. read more

This place is amazing. My hubby loved the pulled pork on baked and I loved the Vegas Garbage fry. It's hard to find a place my hubby loves and wants to bring the family to try. Everything is flavorful. They also have a GF option also a vegetarian as well. They have great syrups flavor option, to flavor your drinks. The lady with the blonde hair was very helpful, helping us with our order. The service here was great and we will be coming back with the family. read more

I am in love with this place! So many options--and the only thing they fry are the fries--which means they too are gluten free! I had the buffalo chicken garbage fries. Oh my! Get them today if you love fries and hot wings. My husband went a more traditional route and got the turkey dinner-he said it was like Thanksgiving in July. The only downside for me is that they are only in South Jordan. 7 hours is a long long drive for lunch :) read more

This was a unique and fun concept to visit. The main staple for all the food is, as the name suggests, potatoes. For our order, we got a thanksgiving style baked potato (cranberry, turkey, stuffing and gravy in a baked potato), and some sweet potato fries, topped with caramel. The sweet potato fries were just the right amount of crispy and it caught me by surprise how tasty they were The place was clean and the decor was well thought out, and the service was on point. Todd (the store's namesake) was running the whole operation with efficiency. The location is a little tricky, right in the heart of Jordan Landing. I can't help but think if this was set in the district or Sugarhouse or someplace with more foot traffic it would be more successful. Regardless if you're in the area, this is a fun and different place to dine and a place you won't leave feeling hungry. Tip: Good for "tots" and families. See what I did there? read more

The only thing disgusting about this place is how good it is. I got fries with pulled pork, bbq sauce, Gilles onions and mushrooms, nacho sauce, dill sauce, green onions and bacon. It's incredible. If you order something you don't like, blame yourself. read more

This is Yum Country! How do want your potato? Your answer doesn't matter because they have them all! The topping selection is fantastic! Lots of cheeses, proteins, and veggies! The build your own drink station was amazing! And to top it off? They had pumpkin cheesecake in July that was as rich as the day was hot Pumpkin in July? My heros!!! read more

Whoever we are out at Jordan Landing my boys always ask for SpudToddos. We've tried so many things and have found that there's something to please everyone in the family. Some love the mashed potatoes and others love the bakers and even my little one loves it cuz he can get cheese fries. The sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had. And my kids love the drink mix station that they can customize themselves to get just what they want. Todd is super friendly too. The best part is that they can cater to practically any diet from meat lover to vegan to gluten free which is so helpful when my extended family comes to town. Seriously! Try the mashed potatoes with roast beef or the tater skins with ranch. So yummy!! read more

I came in with my wife hungry and ready for potatoes. This was good because that's all they do. They have either baked potatoes or French fries with pretty much anything you could ever want on them. I chose to go with the Vegas "garbage" fries. It has guacamole salsa jalapeños cheese and nacho cheese on it. They made our order for us quickly and we set to eating our French fry feast. They gave us a drink that we filled at a typical soda fountain. Then they have a huge variety of add ins to make your drink into whatever new and exciting drink you want it to become. Ex vanilla orange etc. your meal comes in a cafe rio sized container that is full. The French fries tasted like I made them at home. So the blanching process was either not done or improperly done. The guacamole and other toppings were adequate and tasted good. About a third of the way through my fries I wanted something a little more substantial and definitively not potato. They do have corn bread that I ordered and found to be unexciting. Ultimately I left having spent 25$ on two entrees and thinking now where am I going to actually go eat. I would say that this place is great for a hang out where your looking to kill time and eat some comfort food. It is not a place to eat a full meal unless you have an unhealthy love affair with potatoes. When all is said and done the food was good but I just didn't like it. read more

If you like potatoes you will love this place. They have every kind imaginable and sone you'd never think of. They have meats and other veggies to go with the potatoes as well so if you're not just eating potatoes. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They help you decide what to get because there are so many choices! Even the desert! read more

This time around, the service was a night-and-day difference. Friendly, attentive staff and the food came out just right. Not only was everything cooked properly, it was delicious. Special shoutout to the off-menu jalapeño poppers (IYKYK). They're crispy, creamy, and are wrapped in the most delicious bacon. TRY THEM. And then there's the Nut Butter burger (again, IYKYK). The combo of savory beef, melty peanut butter, melty cheddar cheese, with the addition of the house jam is next-level. Sweet, salty, messy, and worth every bite. Glad to see Lucky's stepping it up. I'll be back--and this time, on purpose.

The chilaquiles were outstanding and my favorite part of the dish were the beans: creamy, smoky, tangy. They paired really well with the sweet tamal-- a total ratatouille moment! Also had a mango mimosa and my wife ordered a cold pistachio latte and it was heaven. I'm definitely returning in a couple months to see if there's any improvement and will update.

The veggies were your basic steamed veggies, but the dish was overall good. Service was great-server was attentive and the manager came around as well to check on us. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.

During a recent trip to Utah, I sampled my fair share of restaurants, most of which were "just okay." Then I found Spudtoddos. Honestly? It was the undisputed highlight of my trip. My only disappointment is that there aren't more of these across the country! I'd happily drive to a neighboring state just for another round. I opted for a "Build Your Own" potato, modeling mine after the Roast Beef (sans onions), and it was everything I hoped for. Every bite was a savory symphony of potato and cheesy, meaty goodness. Plus, the portions are massive, a refreshing change from other spots that skimp on the toppings. While the potato game is elite, the desserts have some room for improvement. Between our group, we tried the chocolate cake, pumpkin pie, and cheesecake; unfortunately, they all tasted a bit "off." But hey, the sign says Spudtoddos, not Dessert-toddos! This is a great idea! The food tastes great and the portions are huge! They have cornbread muffins with honey butter as well. Sodas with add ins. It's family friendly and they have lots of variety in food. This restaurant is a great addition to the west side of the valley and Jordan Landing in particular.
