Make your reservation - this place was busy even right at 5 pm on a Friday!…read moreMiss Ada is the perfect place to come with friends and order a bunch of things to share. I highly recommend getting an assortment of dips and small plates - 2-3 dishes per person was just right for us. I can't pick a favorite item of the evening: The Israeli Salad Hummus was some of the best/most flavorful hummus I've had, the Whipped Ricotta was perfect and so fluffy, and the Matbucha & Labne are also great additions to the table. They make a really good Falafel here, and the Crispy Cauliflower were perfectly crispy and well-sauced. The Chocolate Babka dessert is a great way to end your meal, and they do make a solid espresso martini for those wondering. The only thing I was not a fan of is their drink menu - all of the cocktails are spicy or smoky. Although you can sub out different alcohols, it would be nice to have a few other options.

But in this case I have to point out for a $18 chicken skewer that had 4 tiny pieces of chicken that tasted like vinegar was completely absurd. The Merguez humus was ok at $19. The babagabush was good but at $14 was a tiny portion. Waiter was friendly but took our order and didn't see again until end of meal when asked for check. If you are going to charge premium prices at least have service that you would expect from a higher end establishment.

The…read morebartender was extremely rude from the second we stepped in, hadn't even talked to her yet and when she came up to us she was so mean every single time we got another round. We were not drunk or loud and we were sitting outside so genuinely could not have done anything to bother her. At the end of the night she looks at us and says "you guys can go" in the sassiest tone because she needed to clean up outside. There were so many other ways to approach that topic but she chose the rudest possible way. So here is her tip: Do NOT work a customer service job if you can't even pretend to be kind. Find a new job where you can be an absolute b*tch to people because it isn't bartending.

Order at the bar. If seated at a table they will bring the food to you when it's ready. Service is excellent. They open promptly at 12 noon on weekdays. Food is decent. The fried calamari is too breaded and too fried, but it passes for bar food. Rating 6/10 The nachos have a good amount of crunchy chips with a decent amount of toppings including guacamole and jalapenos. Rating 7/10 Seating is spacious and comfortable but tabletops etc can be a bit sticky, like at many other bars. Good sports vibe and energy from the patrons.

We stumbled upon end well and we were very pleasantly surprised. It had a good vibe, great cocktails, and good food. We ordered a cucumber sour and a rosemary thyme Negroni. We also ordered deviled eggs, the charred cabbage salad, and the fried chicken and sandwich. All were outstanding and modestly priced. The service was great. The individual helping us was very friendly. Will be back!

In summary: Would come back for the ambience and the drinks!…read more Positives: Great vibe inside, from the warm lighting to the music and the honestly really great service. We came in on a Monday night, delightfully busy but not too full and were able to just really sit and relax without feeling rushed so that was much appreciated. Drinks ordered: Rosemary Negroni (Mezcal Negroni with a bit more sweetness) and Sicilian Daiquiri (refreshing, citrus but definitely one for those who prefer sweet drinks). Both were enjoyed. Food was a little hit and miss: The Smoked Salmon Deviled eggs were interesting but I don't think I'd order them again. The Burger & Fries were good, but we thought both were over salted and weren't too big a fun of the large tomato on the burger, though without it I think the bun would have been too hard.
