I was seated promptly at the bar and my order was taken quickly. My Dubai pancakes came out fast. I ordered two pancakes in a stack and was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to finish them because they were quite large! Needless to say... I finished with ease and was quite proud of myself! The pancakes were fresh, fluffy, and spongy. The perfect combination... Exactly what a pancake should be! My only regret is that I didn't try multiple flavors of cake cakes. Next time when I go back, I will try to diversify!

She advised us portions were large so we opted to split the pot of gold breakfast with half gravy and half chile verde. They plated it, as well as our split heavenly hot cakes, separately. We upgraded our pancakes to have bananas, caramel, and whipped cream, and they generously portioned said toppings on *both of our plates*. And holy god was that whipped cream delicious. We spoke to the employees and they said they're closing due to the apartment complex is taking over their lease for additional parking. This place is old. The chairs are rickety and the tables really rock. The carpet is dirty and it looks in need of a refreshing anyways. The portion sizes are ok and maybe I just ordered the wrong items. My sister-in-law ordered the grapefruit cream pie and it was amazing. Everyone else's dish looked pretty good. Now for my rating. I'm torn. It's a 3 1/2 but I can only rate a 3 or 4. I choose 3.
