We met friends there for dinner tonight and at at the beginning of the meal, our waiter accidentally dumped a tray with 4 full classes of water and two cokes directly onto our table. The waiter was mortified and very apologetic. We made light of the situation as to not make him feel bad and we understand that accidents happen. My pants were uncomfortably wet and my partner was absolutely drenched. We were moved to another table and had our dinner which was perfectly fine, however when the bill came, I was shocked to see that we were billed for everything we ordered. Had a ladies weekend away in Lambertville and we're headed to peddlers village for a murder mystery tour. Wanted to have a really good lunch on the way. Found this spot via Yelp. It was wonderful!! We were greeted when we walked in the door! The waitress/bartender was the best! She know her food and boy can she make a great drink!! We had an appetizer of crab meat and Brie crostini, and I had-blackened mahimahi over a romaine salad , my friends had weiner scneitzel, butternut squash soup(yummy- snagged a taste) and grown up grilled cheese-Melted sharp cheddar cheese and applewood smoked bacon on grilled raisin nut bread. I came here with my family to get a drink and watch football. The manager physically assaulted my father because we were "standing in the walkway of the servers." Meanwhile the hostess told us we could stand behind the bar and enjoy our drinks while waiting for a table and there was plenty of room for servers to pass by without having to alter their path. The hostess and the bartender were very pleasant and I feel bad that they have to deal with that a-hole manager each shift. He's ruining their service reputation and I hope he loses his job for the way he treats paying customers. read more

Amazing! The food was absolutely delicious. The best French onion soup I've ever had. Perfect cheese to soup ratio and a nice crisp crust in the top! I got the square one pub burger which was juicy, and loaded with blue cheese (the real stuff not just a bunch of the creamy dressing), bacon, and frizzled onions. I only could eat about a third, it was on a huge brioche roll. The Hubs ordered the seafood diablo over linguine and clams casino. He loved both. The server was super attentive. Had a nice family meal here, it was very cozy (not a lot of floor space, but didn't feel pushed against). There was some confusion between who was bringing us drinks/food, so we had multiple people bringing replacement drinks, limes, extra plates which made me feel for the staff who looked like they had to be everywhere at once. I ordered the fried chicken. It was on the border of greasy, not juicy, but it was a great breading. Bulk purchased food, albeit pricey food, that results in mass on the plate absent the quality. Sysco food service products may be one way to describe it - read "crabby" cakes scooped out of a Sysco food service bucket lumped on your plate. Also, there is a bad vibe in the place. If I am forced to go (with friends or family), my expectation is always the same: eh, ok. Service can be good, can be bad. If you go there a lot, you are apparently treated better. The bar crowd always seems to be in high spirits. If you don't come in enough for everyone to know you, there does seem to be a different level of service and treatment. My husband and I have lived in New Hope over 13 years. We anxiously awaited the grand opening. We watched the owners renovate the new place. We went within the first week it opened. Since then we go one to two times a week. We absolutely love it. The happy hour is great in addition to drinks there is a happy hour food selection also. You can also select from a special 3 course dinner menu for $15. The corned beef sandwich is not only delicious but so generous in portion that you can split it and have enough to eat. The atmosphere is lively, the place is very clean. We are always warmly greeted. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There are many regulars at the bar. The customers get to know one another. It is a great fun place to go. The owners are typically on the premises making their presence be known. Greeting people making sure that everything is running smoothly. We have told many of our friends to go there. We often go there with our friends. I am in retail and when speaking with clients I have told them about how great the place is. This is a sports bar that's no frills. It's always busy. They serve good sized portions. Everything seems very fresh. Bartenders are awesome. Great attitudes. They have a large menu and a good number of daily specials. They never disappoint. And they are super reasonably priced. I just love this place. The entrees for the the three course meal consisted mostly of chicken; there were some pasta, seafood, and one meat option. (Pork chops). I happened upon this place solely by good fortune. Had a couple hours to kill and I was hungry and I must say I chose very well! Jay was my bartender/server and she was very pleasant and friendly. She offered me the daily special soup, salad, and sandwich, explaining each one in detail. She hooked me on the sandwich, which was thinly sliced skirt steak with grilled mushrooms, onions, and peppers, plus provolone cheese and chipotle mayonnaise on a ciabatta bun, alongside homemade potato chips, the likes of which I've never had! Plus, I got to enjoy some Yuengling lager on draft, which I cannot get in Kansas City where I live. Tonight was the second time in as many months that one group of patrons were so openly loud and rude that we could not speak with each other at our table! While the food was good, one individual was so obnoxious that we could not get out of there fast enough. OMG. Worst meal in a long time. Had "grouper" and the fish was NOT fresh. I suspect previously frozen and defrosted and then froze again. Horrible odor and revolting fishy taste. When brought to the attention of the floor staff, my complaint was met with a surly attitude - as if to say, "if you do not like it here, go some place else." I will.
