In my honest opinion this is one of the worst carwashes I have ever been to. There are seven bays to wash your car and six of them were broken. I cannot tell you about the seventh bay because there was a car sitting in it that wasn't being washed. The facility is poorly maintained, sinks are running over with filthy accumulated water, I didn't even want to try out the vacuums because half of them were taken out of their bays. This is your typical carwash folks. No frills and nothing special. They've got several vacuum/shampoo/fragrance stalls, self service wash stations, and an automatic carwash. Starts at $6 for the automatic and goes up from there. There is a change machine here and cards are also accepted. read more

Avoid, poorly maintained and worthless. Change machines were both offline, the pre-wash and spot free rinse settings didn't even work. There was ZERO soap in the high pressure soap setting and the place is far too expensive to even start with. I've been to a number of self car washes in this metro and this is probably the worst of the bunch. I went to this car wash based on the other review here. I also was impressed! I went on Saturday afternoon and chose to use the automatic touchless wash bay. This guy came out and said that he would apply pre-wash treatments to the car, windows, and the wheels of my car to help the car wash do a better job. It definitely helped! There is no charge for this service, but the guy (wish I could remember his name) only works for tips. He was so good that I will go back when he's there (he only works certain hours) and next time I'll tip him more. I gave him $3, but felt cheap after coming out of the wash bay and seeing how clean my car was. It didn't go in that dirty, but did come out sparkling! Unlike the other review, I wasn't that impressed with their vacuums. The first station I pulled up to, the vacuum didn't even work. The vacuum at the 2nd station worked, but wasn't that powerful even though I chose the highest motor strength (and paid a little extra for it). Overall, though, I was still very happy with my experience and as I said I will definitely go back! read more

While this is mainly a DIY car wash, there is a lane for automated touchless washes. I used the automated lane and was very impressed. The water pressure was very strong and my car, an '06 Scion xB, which is hard to clean, got sparkling clean. The vacuum machines are also strong and did a great job cleaning the car's interior. The self-service bit of this car wash is pretty standard, but I do like that it takes cards, so I was all set when I ran out of quarters! Visually, it's much cleaner and better maintained than any other I've typically come across, which makes it less of a chore to be at. I didn't have any problems at all with it taking coins or card or stopping running when I was done. I did LOVE the vacuums! They're powerful and have really long hoses, with the proper ends to get in the tight spaces while still being large enough to suck up the larger junk. I will say that the tools in the wash bays seemed kind of cheap, and I'll stick to scrubbing my wheels at home, but it sure did the job on my poor car! The tire wash pre-soak soap did seem to do a very nice job, I just couldn't get into the crevices with the brush there (the head kept swiveling all funny). Overall, I don't mind it and now that I have my new-used car to a standard the old owner seriously didn't, I'll probably give their touchless automated wash a go or two since other Yelpers seem to like it! read more

Again folks this is not a joke nor a fake post about this unsafe wreck of a car wash business. As I finished the wash in the far bays I am up to my ankles in undraining water so I stroll up to the vaccums leaving my ride on and get robbed by the vaccums so I round my vehicle shut my trunk and there is a low life inches from me that I'm thinking wants. Change but as I glance down there is 40 caliber auto in my chest hot and chambered and he says get in the car as again it is running cause I'm leaving but one ain't gonna happening is me getting in and so this is it fight for your life and grab the muzzle and his wrist and just starting pushing and I'm screaming in his face trying to keep the barrel parallel and driving him gaining some control and from nowhere another low life hits me solid right in the grill with something in his hand I'm bleeding but I'm maintaining but seperated and low life number one is lining up to take a shot but fortunately through low life #2 to do it as the other one is coming for more and he's got a mask on with them teeth and there is no one around at all it is 2am approximately I'm thinking about my mom and I gotta get home to my wife and all this short clips but there is no time it's like suspended but I do have presence of mind to know that I have in my coat pocket my work carpet razor that is so dangerous that I don't even like to have them anywhere cause you will have a very fine three inch deep cut that you don't even know about till you start spilling and I have it clutched trying to pull it from inner jacket pocket and I'm cutting this guy as many times and probably will cut myself in the process and use him as human Sheild because again the other guy is trying to get a shot off and these guys are engaging willingly In a crime that will at a minimum have them as only skeletons on a prison wall if caught so killing me don't make a nothing to these awesome folks and I know that so things are out of control my leg is Busted up ftom falling into the brick no bag dirty trash cans of this dump worthless condemned car wash that I kept. And like the hand of the almighty or something that money comes out too and is seperated and it's literally raining money and these two great Guys are as if it were Christmas grabbing this money as if it were a life saving organ and have literally for the second forgot about all this and me and that moment gives a split second to make a run and hopefuly not get shot in the back and I round the car wash bay I'm gonna probably make it and there is a dominos pizza that is open not for walk ins bit they are delivering late night from there and I crash into the plexi glass histericle tryiing to pull door off the hinges and the employees are terrified not knowing what's up and Won't let me in and are they doubling back and so the call the police on me immediately and the Travis county sheriffs office and WMCO are quickly there with dogs In fatigues and don't know what's happening at thus point other than I'm a basket case and it's on the ground sir cause until the tape is seen I'm just a phsycopath or whatever but I'm able to quickly tell them what's happened and the dogs and many officers are bustin across the field on the dogs scent to go hopefully kick soMe ass. Ok look this is not a joke it is public informatin with a case number and there's more but the point is do not patronize this place this area there is extremely dangerous I'm lucky to escape with my life in this terrifying situation but if it's some unfortunate less capable women or something and you comply. I've been to this location on 3 separate occasions and not a single time would any of the DIY stalls accept any of my 3 cards. Those same cards work everywhere else without fail, including University Car Wash off of 38th/Guadalupe (where I typically go). However, the gf moved off of Wells Branch so I've tried this place several times. Once among the 3 times I've been, I had some cash on me and just got quarters to run the stall. Everything worked well and the brushes appeared to be relatively new and in good condition. I'd definitely bump this to 4 star rating if the freakin card readers worked. read more

My biggest dissatisfaction was that the foam brush part of my wash (crucial) did not really happen because there was no soap coming out. A dry scrub...sucked. The soap tank was probably out of soap. Facilities seemed nice...the brush itself was good, the sprayer was about 6/10 on pressure. I liked how it takes Cards for payment ( not on the vacuums though, which was inconvenient). Tried multiple vacuums and none worked properly, I would've been better off using a lint roller, I should just left, but decided to try and wash my car and that didn't work either, if you know your self car wash area isn't working why not close down that section, never coming here again!!! read more

The other day I went to do a quick chore and because I was feeling lazy I decided to go through the automatic wash for $12 (seems reasonable). The lighting on the machine wasn't clear, and so while the system started, I wasn't sure I put my car in the right place, and the machine stopped. A kind gentleman sitting outside read me a phone number from the door to "text the owner" (seemed like he knew him) and when I did, the owner immediately called / texted back and sent someone, who was there in 5 minutes, and got me through without having to repay. I initially thought I'd wasted the $12 but I was very impressed with the fact that although this is "self service", the owner is good enough to take care of people who have issues (like me)! So thank you to the owner, the man who came to help, and the man sitting there as well! read more

This review is for their automated touchless wash. Since the last time we washed the car was months ago, my white Mazda6 had layers of dust, dirt, and bird poo. We opted for the 2nd most expansive option (premium I believe) which pre-soaked the car twice for better cleaning. The car is now so clean (yup, bird poo is gone) that I forgot that we have a white car! The only thing I can pick on is their drying process. You have to slowly drive the car out of the tunnel and there are still some water left on the windshield and windows.Definitely not spotless. What I will do next time is to bring my own towels and wipe the car dry. No big deal! This is much better than the car wash in any gas station. read more

You would be better served taking your dollar bills and just throwing them out the window of your car while traveling at a high rate of speed down life's highway. If your sole intention is to get your car wet, and then use the automated wash. If you want to to laugh at the finished product, then use the automated wash. Know that this car wash does not have an attendant. There is sign on the door instructing you to text a phone number. I did this after not receiving the number of quarters I was supposed to receive for a $5 bill I inserted into the coin machine in order to use the self service wash. I received a response within 24 hrs. asking my address, although I informed the person I would be willing to stop by and get a refund (oh, that's right, no attendant). A coupon for a $10 automatic car wash (not a fan of automatic) was mailed to me. Ok, I would rather have had my $ refunded as I really did not want to use Squeeky Clean again. This self-serve car wash is a great local car wash that really stands behind their company! On an icy day I went to wash my car and for some reason one of the days just wasn't working properly. I texted the phone number on the door to let them know that the machine took my money. I immediately got a response back from the owners asking for my address stating that they would mail me a coupon. Much to my surprise I would not only received a coupon that was more than the value of the money I lost I received the check for the amount of the total that was lost in the machine! I have lived next to this car wash for 10 1/2 years, and use it all the time. Yesterday I used the credit card terminal in Bay 5 to wash my car, then turned the dial to the "Off" position and pushed the "Stop" button. The machine would not stop! I tried pushing the stop button a few more times, then called the after hours number. The attendant (owner?) would not believe me when I said the machine was still running, then said he was too far away to come look at it. He said to just leave it running and they would refund me later. How long, I asked, was I expected to let this continue? It was already up to 22 minutes. With that the attendant rudely hung up on me. I called the number again and the same person answered. I asked why he had hung up on me, and what he was going to do about the machine that was still running. He said, "I already offered you a refund, sir. Do you want me to bake you a cake too?" I said, "I want you to come turn off this machine before I get charged for an entire day of car washes! I don't want to be refunded after it's already run up an enormous charge." "It can only charge you a maximum of $10, sir," he replied. "Well," I said, "Its now at 26 minutes, how much do you think that costs? Do I need to cancel my credit card to stop the charges?" With that, he hung up on me a second time! So I called my credit card company. I told them what was happening and they said I should cancel that credit card and they would issue me a new one. They then told me to look for any transactions that might post from that car wash within the next 48 hours and they would file a dispute for the charge. I then got a customer survey card from the comments box and left a few choice comments. I also called a couple friends and told them what happened, and asked them not to use that car wash again. I was about to leave when the attendant called me back. Was the machine still running? No apologies for the malfunctioning equipment, no apologies for his rude behavior. I told him is was, and was up to 40 minutes. He asked if my card ended in (XXXX) and I told him it did and he said he would refund me when I brought him a bank statement. I started to tell him not to bother, that I had cancelled the card, when he said, "Will you shut up a minute?" And things went downhill from there. When I left the meter was still running, and was up to 46 minutes. I doubt it was ever turned off last night. read more

Things here always seem to be broken. The vacuums are the worst vacuums I've ever tried to use at a car wash. I say try to use because no matter which one you feed quarters into there's barely any suction and good luck with trying to get anything beyond some small dirt removed from your interior. One time I put in $5 worth of quarters and the machine never started, nor did it return my money. Requested a refund and I was ignored. My friend try to use the foam brush and it had rocks in it. Worst car wash I've ever been to! Soap barely comes out, pre-wash didn't work, wax didn't come out- just water. The sprayer wand is so long and the bays so narrow that you can't turn around without scratching your car. Foaming brush doesn't reach the other side of your car. Ridiculous! When we relocated to Austin we lived in an apartment nearby. Since our cars weren't garaged and we had a 2 year old tornado in the backseat we were frequently at Squeeky Clean on a weekend morning for a car wash date to "de-goldfish" our cars. We don't live so close anymore and have a garage, but we still one going out of our way to have a car wash date at Squeeky Clean. The machines are much better than any gas station drive through and get my black car spotless and shiny. The vacuums get every last crumb, and the whole place is always neat and clean. SQUEEKY CLEEN actually. :) I did love that one time I was there on 4th of July weekend and the owner was there making and giving out hot dogs. Based on the reviews of his site, I tried this car wash. I have truck that I cannot take the antenna off and I was looking for a good touchless carwash. I pulled in and I could not get the card reader to work. Now, this was most likely operator error, but as I started to leave a man came out of the office and ask if I was having trouble. I told him I probably was not using my card correctly. Well, he tested his card in a manual car wasy and then came over and tested the automated one. Of course, it worked and he told me the wash was on him. Wow, great customer service. I got a premier wash and my truck, which was pretty dirty from road wear looked great. It even got most of the brake pad dust off my wheels. The vacuums were excellent. The truck is as clean as it probably has ever been since new. I will use this place as often as the truck needs a wash. Just an all around great experience. read more
