Pretty good pad Thai! It was a bit on the oily side but I guess that's pad Thai in general the people there were really friendly too!

The food is trash can worthy. If there was a poop emoji rather than 1 lone star, I'd select the poop emoji instead. I ordered the Tom Yum, the Special Pad Thai, and a side cucumber salad. There was NOTHING "yummy" about the Tom Yum soup. It had little flavor, small floating turd sized bobbing mushroom caps and 4 undercooked slimy, skinny shrimp. The taste was not good and for fear that I was going to get food poisoning from the odd textured and unappealing shrimp, I poured it down the drain. As for the "special" Pad Thai, the only special thing about it is they over charge you for a dish that is made incorrectly and very poorly. The serving was very small, about one cup of cooked noodles and 3 flat, over breaded fried shrimp and 3 square 1 inch by 1 inch again, breaded and fried cubes of chicken, with the first of 3 small chicken cubes having no meat inside at all. The entire dish was oily, had no flavor and was VERY disappointing. Into the trash it went as well The cucumber salad was fresh, but at this point, who cares. Honestly, if my meal had been free, I would have refused it. My total bill was $34..00 and into the trash my food went. For dinner I had an apple and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Save your money and do no frequent this restaurant, you're only in for disappointment and garbage that you have to pay for to throw out. Worst of all, you'll end up looking around the kitchen for something else to eat, realizing you wish you would have eaten anything else at home before ordering such a horrible meal. The chicken red curry is one of my favorites. The chicken is paper thin and the sauce is rich and aromatic. I have only ever ordered take out and it usually takes about 20 minutes. The tofu pad Thai is a big portion. And so fresh it melts the container. It's about $10 per dish. Quick delicious Thai food to go. read more

This is a cozy Thai restaurant. The food is amazing! Very tasty. They also have vegan options and they deliver.

Ordered the orange chicken and Spicy Basil (ka-pow) with ground chicken. I also ordered a Pad see ew with extra broccoli that turned out to be just a $10.95 side of broccoli when I checked at home. That's how they had it on the receipt. They must have misunderstood over the phone. Pretty expensive for just broccoli?! :( (Here's pro tip; if you're going to do take-out orders, repeat the order back to the caller.) Besides the mess up on the order, the orange chicken outer layer was nicely breaded and flavorful but the chicken inside was dry and stringy. I could have gotten the same from the frozen food section at the grocery store. The Spicy Basil (ka-pow) with ground chicken was mediocre at best. The best item in the entire takeout order was the rice. I'll opt for the other Thai place in Monrovia from now on. From now on I'll be going to the other Thai place in Arcadia. read more

I tried this place tonight and ordered it from ChowNow. It was pretty good ! I got the special pad Thai and it was tasty. The chicken was tasty and I asked for it to be extra spicy and they gave it the right amount of spice for my taste. They also hook it up a lot, I will definitely be having leftovers. I've eaten here several times, and each time I wonder why I returned. The staff is usually quite friendly, but the curry portions are below average and the green curry in particular is not very good. The purple eggplant, however, gets two thumbs up. This was my go to quick Thai takeout for years. Unfortunately, they lost my business due to inconsistencies. The food is hit or miss and delivery option is awful. They like to do their own delivery but only offer twice a week per restaurant. I guess if you happen to get lucky Friday and Sunday are the only day's delivery are available. Stopped by this place on a blind buy since it was the only Thai Food place I spotted on the road. So this review is based on this one experience. Basically the employee who took my order was rude and offputting. The dishes are overpriced, and to top it off the Pad See Ew I ordered was the worst I've ever had. The beef was tough and hard to chew, and the taste of the noodles was different from other Thai places I've ordered this dish from...by different, I mean not good. I couldn't even finish my order, even as hungry as I was. So basically, it's a crap shoot to eat here. I have to say that after all the years I've ordered take out and delivery since their opening, they have become more and more stingy over the portion sizes of their food as well as increase in their prices. I ordered the Chicken Salad and Beef salad which usually come in a large white container full of greens but this time around they literally prepared the salads with only one cup of vegetables and 2oz of meat. That's pretty pathetic for the $19 I paid for both salads. I've never been more disappointed.. I noticed the difference in the preparation of their food (chicken being dry, food being overcooked, etc) but this.. this is pretty bad. The size of the salads alone should've been worth $5 at most. I thought it was too sweet. 4/5 - Butterfly shrimp- you can't go wrong with butterfly shrimp lol 5/5 The woman who took my order stated she would be giving free order of egg rolls, and I said oh thank you! So kind! But when I got home- there were no egg rolls. Lol it's okay. They have a coupon that if you spend more than $39 you get free egg rolls or an entree. Might give them another try. Pass by this place all the time for the past 15+ years and never once did I step into this place. And to think, I've missed out on good Thai food the past 15 years. All the time I could've had me some amazing sticky rice and mango dessert but didn't. All the times I could've been digging into a satisfying plate of pad see eww and didn't. My heart hurts. My stomach is sad. I am going to go out on a limb and say that this place has the best mango sticky rice dessert here in SoCal outside of Thailand. Seriously amazing. Most places give you mushy soft sticky rice. The sticky rice is suppose to be chewy. It's like sushi rice. And this place gets it right. I will say they skimped a bit on the coconut milk on top but the sticky rice is so good and the mangoes so sweet that I didn't even mind. That's how good this dessert is here. I ordered the Pad See Ew and it was gooooood. I love that the flavors were authentic. I definitely appreciate that the people working there are actually Thais. Even the cook in the back is Thai. Not saying that non Thai people can't make awesome Thai food but I just appreciate it's owned and run by Thai people. A bit of a disclaimer though. Basically, this was just a plate of beef with a side of watery sauce that had crushed red pepper mixed in. My husband was wise, he ordered their Red Curry Chicken. It was so good! Lots of bamboo shoots, peppers and tender chicken in a wonderfully tasty curry sauce. It was more of a curry soup than a sauce, but it tasted so good I couldn't complain. We struggle to find Affordable Thai. We took a chance and ordered our favorites. We ordered chicken satay, Panang beef, chicken Pad Thai and the vegan fresh rolls. They knocked them all out of the park. The panang had great, deep spicy flavor and the beef was sliced so thin. The Pad Thai had nice tamarind flavor and the chicken was moist.
