I wouldn't come back here. My pad see-ew tasted sweet! And I don't mean sweet: awesome, rocked my world. I mean sweet, it tasted suspiciously sugary and not savory. I didn't get sick or anything, it was just displeasing to taste my favorite noodle dish with such disapproving flavor. Walking in, this place just looks like a food court. It's nothing fancy. It's a place you get a quick bite to eat and go. I would say this is a "divey restaurant," if there is such a term. Service was fine and friendly. I got my dish to-go. There's a minimum charge for use of credit card, I believe it is minimum of $10. Not cool. It's a shame this place doesn't taste very good. It's cheap and close to where I live. We struggle to find Affordable Thai. We took a chance and ordered our favorites. We ordered chicken satay, Panang beef, chicken Pad Thai and the vegan fresh rolls. They knocked them all out of the park. The panang had great, deep spicy flavor and the beef was sliced so thin. The Pad Thai had nice tamarind flavor and the chicken was moist. This place is a hidden gem on Foothill! We have ordered delivery and take out from them. Delicious!!! They are a small family owned business and could use our support during this crazy time. We have tried several dishes but the Pad See Ew (we have tried chicken and shrimp), is the best and most flavorful we have ever had! Highly recommend them. This was a GrubHub order, my very first one. It was okay food, not fantastic. The portions were decent and the pricing was fair. But the delivery was super late. When my girlfriend called about it (I was having it sent to her place), she was told that the driver was busy because he had five orders with him at the same time. How was that our problem that you either didn't have enough employees for a Friday evening and/or that you allowed one driver to take that many orders at one time? That's way too many to get all the orders delivered by the promised time. So some of the best restaurants are tucked away in a strip mall. Such is the case with SRISIAM THAI KITCHEN. This appears to be family run. We loved the option on all dishes. For vegetarians, or pescatarians like us, every dish include choice of tofu or fish in addition to the standard beef, chicken, pork and shrimp. We started with the Golden Tofu appetizer. It was a large portion, probably enough to be an entree. The tofu was fried perfectly and served with a yummy sweet and sour sauce. A great intro of what was coming. For entrees we had the spicy cashew fish, orange fish and eggplant with tofu. All of these were excellent. They will prepare the spicy level to your request, ours were ordered mild for the sissies in the family. I requested hot sauce. They brought a variety of spicy levels. The spiciest was tolerable and tasty. Now the best part. The owner suggested the sticky rice and mango for dessert. That is the standard in Thai restaurants. This time it was different. It was a very tasty sticky rice and mango, but served on top of fresh mango ice cream. We were instructed to make sure each bite included the rice, mango and ice cream. Great advice. I will ask for this when I visit other Thai restaurants. The serving size was enough for four to share. Service was impeccable . Food quality was excellent. The restaurant is very small, seating maybe 10-15. It looked like most orders were to go or delivery. It's always nice to find a close Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. This is exactly that spot! My wife and I split three dishes (I felt that the portions were smaller than other Thai restaurants I'd been to in the past that seem similar). We ordered eggplant tofu, beef pad see ew, and mixed vegetables with chicken. The beef pad see ew was by far the best dish out of the three but it was overall just an average Thai dish. Over an hour later food finally shows up. Hot wings were rather more of a warmish wings along with almost cold temp tofu. So now I am sitting here not wanting to eat any of this cold garbage. Food presentation is really nice, food tastes great and they really are nice and friendly. 1st time I ordered delivery and they packed everything so that nothing leaked and crispy egg rolls stayed crispy. This time I picked up the food myself because I wanted to see their location. Still the drink I ordered was packaged in plastic with the straw tied to it. So cute! When I opened the plastic, I noticed tape on the lid to make sure it didn't leak or pop off. I love the attention to detail in keeping the customer safe from unexpected spills. The food was all hot and fresh. The place is small but really nice inside. I'm glad they're on GrubHub and Eat24. Their website even offers coupons along with the coupons they include with your order. It's very customer oriented! I ordered the pad Thai with scallops - can I say the scallops they use are huge and delicious, not like some other places. It's worth the extra charge! Live close by this place for years and can't believe I never tried it. Sampled two currys tonight yellow vegetable curry and chicken massaman curry. Both came with a portion of jasmine rice plenty of food for hubby and myself with a lunch left for tomorrow hopefully me! Yellow curry was so good I found myself just drinking the broth. Massaman had a good blend of peanuts and chicken and potato and carrot the sauce was a little barbecue in maybe due to the tomato. Will try noodle dishes next time. And there will be a next time.
