Large booths for big groups, and plenty of table and chair seats. We had to ask if there was a gas leak, but they said that's the normal smell. Eventually, we got used to it, but it was definitely noteworthy. We ordered: Kids katsu chicken - Wasn't katsu. It was dino chicken nuggets. (Um ok) BUT, cutest presentation ever! 5 stars for everything about the kids menu (except it not being katsu). Served in a sushi boat, an orange with cocktail umbrella, fries, animal cookies. 10 out of 10 for kids meal! Specialty Rolls- Sri Thai, Tiger, and Miami : My fav, the Miami Roll Apps- Satay, and fried oysters: we didn't really like the fried oysters much. I believe that the noodles at Sri Thai were a bit stiff, and the flavoring wasn't quite there. I was expecting more of a savory sauce with noodle entree but unfortunately, it was not there. Our party of 8 ordered a variety of dishes and drinks Coconut and mushroom soup - 5/5delicious served in a flaming shaped donut hot pot . Very aromatic and simple . You can request some chili to add for an extra kick to taste more like Tom yum soup Chicken Panang 5/5 and Massaman curry 3/5- The more flavorful of the two is panang curry . So me and a few friends decided to a surprise party for a friend of ours and one of her favorite foods is Thai so we decided to give SriThai a try! We were able to set up a reservation in advance and the place is huge, so its a idea place to host a surprise party. With COVID going on, they do require mask and temperature check upon entry, but once you are seated at your table you are free to take it off. Staff and servers also wear masks and gloves the whole time as well. Since it was a big group of us, I won't go down everyone's meals, but I decided to try the traditional Pad Thai with a side of peanut butter sauce (trust me, do it) and carb rangoon while my wife ended up getting a Sushi roll. For the price point, I got a decent amount of food for my Pad Thai dish and the carb Rangoon looked like egg rolls but they were a nice touch. The meal was great and I ate every single bite! My wife on the other hand didn't care for her Sushi roll too much and tried to switch it for a different one and didn't like that one as well. I don't think her taste buds were working well that day because I tried a roll and it was okay, but she did try my Pad Thai and enjoy it, so maybe she wasn't in the sushi mood. Also I was able to get a picture of the birthday girl meal that she shared with her husband. They ended up getting the "Boat for 2" meal which comes out on a boat. Yes, an actual boat!!! The boat includes 16 pieces of sashimi, 12 pieces of nigiri, 1 California roll, and 1JB roll raw. Yeah...it's a lot lol. It's probably one of the most highest priced meals on the menu but it's definitely the go to meal for a date night, she keep it in mind if you're looking to try SriThai out. Sushi: 4/5: I normally order sushi here, and sushi quality is 4.5 stars. Sashimi is fresh and thick, and excellent. Sushi is somewhat OK. Occasionally the rice has too much water when it's cooked and mushy. And nigiris are too squished like made at a typical non-authentic Japanese restaurant. Makis are Ok. It's not fabulous, but satisfactory level. But the presentation is so beautiful. A decoratively sliced orange, kale, shredded carrots make the whole bento box so pretty and entertaining, and they come with to-go order as well. That's why I keep ordering their sushi. This place is very enjoyable and I go there with my friend too. Food: 4.5/5 : this review is for shrimp tempura only. It's not authentic, and it's crunchy. It's edible and just OK level. Shrimp tempura is not supposed to be crunchy at all, it's not a flitter. It's supposed to be way more delicate. I hope they will improve it though. Ambiance 5/5: they have a very modern looking ambience and sushi bar. That's why I like this location much more than the other Snellville location. It's spacious and feel great to eat in. Service 5/5: Servers are very attentive, I know they are very busy, but they are very courteous and I feel their hospitality from them. We are family of 4 but the host told me the table would be ready in roughly 30mins (most of the booths were empty and there were like 6 empty tables with 6 chairs) it doesnt make sense at all to wait so we asked if we can just order to go. And she didnt even take our order and told us to wait again. Less than a minute, a family of 5 came and got seated right-away, so I asked the host "why cant we get seated too?" and stupidly she said, "all the tables are for party of 5-6 only" I understand if the restaurant is full.. because I work as a host/server before. Came here on a whim because the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. It was fantastic, we got the fried rice and it was so flavorful.

Just placed and received an order through Uber Eats. The order was over 150.00 - yet was incorrect and had missing items. When I called the store - I got excuses and was told there was nothing they could do. I could call Uber drive over to the store get the missing items (then why did I bother ordering via Uber). Uber didn't screw up - the restaurant screwed up! Very sad when they just don't double check the order going out the door or even care they got it wrong! read more

Was pleased to find a Thai sports combo offering sushi. Was in town for a concert and this place had good reviews. Walked into a very pleasing atmosphere. Was greeted and seated right away. The air wasn't working well as it was warm in the restaurant. Waited almost 10 minutes for a waiter and then wasn't impressed. Ordered the Shrimp Rolls and a Blue Moon. The rolls beat the beer out to the table. The rolls were ok and the beer not cold enough. Ordered the shrimp sumi and the black tiger roll. The roll came out first and was impressive in appearance and size. Definitely prepared with love as it was one of the better rolls I've had in some time. All the components mixed well and the flavor was on point. The sumi was sub par and definitely not worth it. I then waited another 10 minutes for the check. I ordered the veggie pad thai, my sister ordered the green curry with veggies only and spicy, and my bf ordered the shrimp pad thai. The spicy tuna roll didn't look like anything special and was just ok. We decided to try another roll to see if we would have a better experience so we decided on a daimyo roll. Food and sushi were brought out at about the same. Food looked appetizing but my veggie pad thai was ok. There was some flavor there, but could've had more. My bf didn't really enjoy his shrimp pad thai. I think my sister enjoyed her food, lol, as she didn't mention otherwise. She also said they did make it spicy because some places don't. My go to Thai place in GA. Food is always on point, consistent in flavor. I love their fried rice, basil noodles, and sushi. Service is always fast and attentive. Restaurant is clean. I'm confused by the reviews here. I was really expecting a lot better after seeing the Yelp overall ratings but I left quite disappointed. The plus? They have a full bar. The negatives were basically everything else, mainly the food. Atmosphere was okay, nothing to get excited about and service was pretty standard. I'm a big fan of the spring rolls, the nonfried type. So we started with those but they were ho-hum. Not great tasting, and the peanut sauce I requested was just okay. Lunch I decided on chicken panang curry. It was sooo soupy and I asked for Thai spicy which it wasn't at all. The consistency was a turn off. I expect curry to be more thick and creamy and the chicken was very tough, definitely overcooked. The flavors didn't shine through and I didn't even attempt to finish it. Maybe I should have stuck with sushi?...they did have that as an option but I really wanted some good curry. Overall 4/5: Nice place with fast service. Yummy food for a quick bite with family. Food 4/5: The menu is huge and extensive, so it was hard to decide what to order. We ended up getting the sampler with the spring rolls, gyoza, calamari, and chicken satay. Our two favorites off that was the calamari and the peanut sauce on the chicken satay. Now we know next time what full orders of appetizers we'll get. Nice option if it is your first time in. We also ordered the yum yum squid, the shrimp lad na, the nam tok, and the ginger chicken. The yum yum squid was our absolute favorite, but be careful because it is super spicy. The flavor on the lad na was so great; it had the perfect amount of gravy on it. The nam tok was more on the sweet end than sour, and the beef they used didn't look great, but it wasn't bad. The ginger chicken was super tender and moist. For sushi, we ended up going simple and getting some California rolls, salmon rolls, and shrimp tempura rolls. The rice on them was super soft, so the rolls were okay. Service 3/5: Like I mentioned the menu was very big, and it was our first time in. The server didn't really help with recommending stuff, she just kept coming back like three times to ask if we were ready to order. If she wanted us to order faster, she could've helped us out a little, but no biggie. We actually did ask for recommendations, but she just blanked and didn't help. Still yummy, and everything still came out fast and we were seated pretty fast. Environment 3/5: Nothing special, very casual. The place is super fast-paced and loud. This place is hidden within this multi-story shopping center! Two of my friends, J & Chris, from my networking group wanted to set-up lunch. J couldn't pick a spot he liked, so Chris thankfully recommended this place. I've eaten Thai a few times over the years, and certainly have 1-2 spots I've frequented. This location was unique b/c they offered up sushi rolls too. Walking in, they have a nice cushioned seating area to wait, and then around the wall is a HUGE space with different types of seating. It can certainly hold very large groups. I liked the decor of the place instantly. They also have a long bar. We started off with the Chicken Larb, which is pronounced Laub. Not something I would've ever ordered due to the name. We also had fried oysters. The oysters were good, but the Chicken Larb was flat out amazing! I wanted to just order it for my meal. It had fresh onions, cilantro, lime, and lettuce. The flavor was in your face. I recommend it. For my meal, I ordered the Sashimi Roll. It came out not what I was expecting, but in a good way. It was wrapped in cucumber and came with a ponzu dipping sauce. The pieces were big and hard to grab with chop sticks. I ordered a side of spicy mayo and fresh jalapenos with it, which helped. Very healthy meal. The side spices they brought out added the extra level of spicy i needed. The pickled jalapenos were amazing and actually tasted fresher and spicier than the ones they brought out for me. Our server did a good job, and everything met or went over expectations. Terrible overall experience, Service gets less than a star. Our server was slow, clueless and frankly not cut out for this job. She was totally unfamiliar with their menu and rarely came back to our table to make sure all was well. Our drinks came out long after our food arrived. Food gets 1 star. This is far from Thai food. The flavors and seasonings are more reminiscent of a Chinese restaurant. We ordered the curry and you couldn't taste any curry powder in it, but tons of sugar and salt. Appetizers were just okay. I let the server know that she wasn't very good at this to which she said that she was new and somehow expected our sympathy. It doesn't take years of experience to know that you can't ignore your patrons. The next time we saw her was to let us know that they'd handed us the wrong bill and would have to credit us for the first amount and charge us for the second. WE LOVE AND MISS SRI THAI!! We are coming home for a visit this summer and can't wait to eat here! For 13 years, we lived 8 miles away and would order very often. Whether it was just the two of us, or a crowd of friends, we would always order extra of, well, almost everything. You can mix-and-match a meal of what ever you want. With extras, you have a snack - or two - for later, and then possibly another, and then, most likely my next night shift dinner. I have been told that I am an Unfortunate Sushi type; solely vegetables; cucumber rolls & vegetable rolls only. But, I will tear them up all day. I'd often order four of each for a work dinner. We miss having friends over, everyone talking over, or rather, cackling over each other, and ordering far too much food - everyone should have some take home, it reminds you of the warmth and great evening you've had. And, of course, spending a good, long evening together. Thank you for having such a great restaurant, great food, and good times! Tried this place twice months apart and had the same experience. Great service, food was good not great. However the biggest issue is flees flying around everywhere! Yes flees. We had to keep shooing them away from our food, it was a very unpleasant experience both times with flees. For the price and dine in I don't expect to deal with bugs while eating. They were swamped with to go orders so that was a good sign. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai, hurricane roll and sticky rice and mango and an crunchy roll that I took home. The pad Thai actually wasn't my favorite. I really love pad Thai and this was just OK for me. The sushi roll was good and pretty filling. The mango and sticky rice was oh so delicious. I'd go back just for that alone. They have a ton on the menu so I'm definitely going back to try the curry and spicy basil noodles. I'd say the prices are what you'd expect to pay. My bill was $50. Considering I got a pretty decent sized portion of shrimp pad this, two sushi rolls and dessert I'd say that's pretty reasonable. It's in the same plaza with a lounge, bowling alley, golf range and several other businesses so there's plenty of parking. My boyfriend and I will visit this restaurant tomorrow. We been craving sushi since March due to COVID. Why I choose to get sushi here? 1. Customer service is great. You waited outside for no more than 5 minutes and someone would come and seat you. 2. The place is clean (I am not sure right now because that was a year ago I visited the place) and organized. 3. Went here to get Thai with my teenage son. The restaurant is clean, cute and the servers were attentive and knowledgable of the menu. We got red Curry, stir fry garlic & eggplant, spicy fried rice (thai hot level), mango sticky rice and two thai iced teas. The curry and stir fry were both really delicious. We got them with tofu and veggies and there was a great variety of vegetables and they were generous with the tofu. I was expecting for the rice to not be as spicy as it sounded (level 4 spice the guy said) but I actually was so pleased with the spice level! I have a really high spice tolerance so most things that are spicy to others aren't spicy at all to me. The fried rice was not only flavorful but I actually got a runny nose and a little numbness in my mouth. I have been waiting my whole life to feel these things (is that weird? or are you weird for not wanting to REALLY enjoy your spice?) and I was extremely satisfying to finally get that sensation! The thai iced tea of course was delicious and the mango sticky rice was exquiste. I will be back and will try more spicy items on the menu!
