I really wanted to give them five-star because I was happy with my car. However, I was not happy with the way they handlled the mailing of my registration and also my phone charger. I left my phone charger there and I was told that they will mail it together with the registration. It's been almost 2 months and still no registration and no phone charger. I called a week ago and Henry the sales person told me that he will go ahead and mail my phone charger. My husband called yesterday to follow up and the same thing, what I've been told couple of times; they still did not get the registration and my phone charger hasn't been mailed. Come on, we spent thousands of dollars to buy the car there the least they can do is mail my phone carger as promised. It's only going to cost them less than $5 to mail it. When you promise someone that you will do it especially on this business you should do as a matter of your integrity. read more

The staff at St Mina were very helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. They don't beat around the bush and they are not one of those sleazy used card dealership that tries to trick you. Very STRAIGHT FORWARD and very GENUINE. The truck that I was checking out ran solid and was at a good price. They allowed me to take a lengthy test drive and the salesperson knew that the vehicle was solid as he was a long-time mechanic that knew his stuff. (I brought my mechanic friend with me to verify this). In the end, the price was right, but we couldn't find financing that fit my needs. I will say that their finance company worked very hard to keep in contact with me and explain details of possibility, and did all that they could. Even after I had told them that it wasn't going to work out this time, they were gracious and called me again to thank me, return my security deposit, and wish me luck in my search. Though I didn't get the truck from them, I would definitely come back to them the next time I'm looking for a vehicle. read more

I found a vehicle I was interested on the internet at St. Mina Auto Sales. I live in New Mexico, 745 miles from Montclair, CA. I called the dealership and spoke to the owner. I asked him about the vehicle and he gave me all the answers I needed to decide that I wanted the vehicle. I told him I had a vehicle I would like to trade in towards the 2008 Chevy Silverado they had advertised. We made a deal over the phone and I drove to Montclair. I met the owners son, as the father was on vacation. He handled the transaction promptly and everything worked out fine for both parties. I drove the vehicle home and it ran beautifully. Very disappointing!! After reading mostly positive reviews, I was feeling good about this dealership. Unfortunately, I can not recommend them. Went car shopping on Saturday and found an Audi there that I loved. I had a huge down payment and needed to finance the rest. I filled out an application and was told I would receive a call on Monday once the dealership spoke to the bank to determine the finance rate. Also, there were a few small issues with the car. We were told this would be taken care of. One of those issues were some sort of sticky substance on the headlights When the salesperson asked his associate to clean it, you'd think he was a dead man walking. Ok so Monday comes and no call. So I called them to find out the status and the associate we met with Saturday could not remember me. After it flnally clicked with him, he then says he didn't hear back from bank yet because of the long weekend. This was not a holiday weekend. I never did hear back from them. I guess they didn't want my $6k. Go figure. I went to Carmax and found a great car. read more

Wow.. If you are in the market for a new used car go see Mina!! Awesome experience from the get-go! My car completely broke down and I was in the market for a new SUV. We narrowed it down to a Nissan Murano, and the search began. After a fun-filled week of searching ads, running across town to different dealerships, and making appointments with people, I came across Mina's ad. From the experience of pics/descriptions saying that cars are in great condition (only to find out the opposite), I called him because we lived almost an hour away. The first thing I said was "I don't want to waste your time or mine, the pictures and description look great online but how does the car really look". He said the interior is immaculate and walked around the entire car to describe every scratch and minor dent he saw (which I felt he was actually doing because I could hear the sound of wind as he walked around the car, plus the genuiness of his voice). When we got there and looked at the car, sure enough it had every scratch/dent that he described and the interior was damn near perfect as he described. Btw I must also mention that they close at 8pm, but we didn't arrive until after 8:30 because of the time that my wife got off work. However he knew we were coming and was happy to stay. There was also another person looking at the car which he let me know and kept me updated because he didn't want me to waste an hour drive out there. We put our deposit down that night and took a few days to get the rest of the funds ready, which Mina was very patient and worked with us throughout the process. Coming from a sales background and knowing how some sales people are, me and my wife truly appreciated Mina's character. He is not a salesman, he is an honest and ethical businessman running an honest and ethical family business. Do your research on KKB.com, and find the true value of the vehicle you want to purchase. 25-33% mark-up is a fair deal--but 40-50% is a rip-off. I made a offer on a car that they have in inventory(25% mark-up) out the door price--don't forget you pay for sales tax, title,etc. They never made a counter-offer. So do your home work before buying from St. Mina Auto Sales. Take the vehicle to a certified mechanic to have it inspected before buying. read more

This was by one of the worst experiences I've had shopping for a car. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I went in knowing what car I wanted. We got there and it took a while before the guy even bothered to approach us and we were the only people on the lot. He headed over to us as if someone was forcing him to. I asked about the price and he got extremely defensive. I wasn't even trying to get him to come down on price! Then right off when we stepped into the office he told us that he would not be able to finance the car for us. He didn't ask how much I would put as down payment, he just asked how much I made at my job and he said it was not enough. This has never been an issue at any other dealership. At that point I did not even bother to ask why. I really think he was just being an asshole. I have really good credit, never miss a payment, and had a really good down payment, I still don't understand what the problem was and I don't get why this place has such a good rating. read more

I had recently purchased a car here after mine was totaled.. After searching for about a month I found the car that had everything I was looking for..I thought.. It was clean like everyone else has stated, but that was about it.. When I came to take a look at the car to pick it up everything looked good.. Then he lifted the hood and it was filthy, the dealer even commented on it and quickly shut the hood.. Didn't really think anything about it till a month later my check engine light came on.. They didn't touch the engine.. I took it to my trusted mechanic and he asked about the smog check certificate.. I told him I wasn't given one.. He said that my car wouldn't pass a smog check.. I told him I purchased a dealed recommended 3 month warranty, and my mechanic said that the car was already covered under manufacters warranty and that he had no right to sell me an extra warranty.. The dealer kept telling me that if there's any problems it will have nothing to do with them and just to contact the warranty company.. Now I know why he kept repeating that..Because the car he sold me wasn't up to codes.. Also my sun visor broke off within a couple weeks and my gas tank door needs two poeple to open it.. One to pull the lever and one to push on the door for it to open.. When the "associate" took my car to fill it with gas he was gone for over a half an hour, so he obviously figured out the problem with the gas tank door, and said nothing to me when he finally came back.. I am not happy with the knowing deceit of this dealership.. Be very careful if you're thinking of purchasing a car from here.. read more
