This place won't accept a credit card unless you spend more than $5. So that means if you are a single person coming in for breakfast and you order a bagel with cream cheese and a drink and you don't have cash you can't eat here. I left because I didn't have cash and they refused my card for a full single persons order, so I went across the street to Publix where they had freshly baked bagels that were still warm ( I actually bought two because they just came out ) and cream cheese and a drink total $3.85 and they were happy to take my credit card! This is not a place for singles! Also big shout out to the person behind me at St. Pete Bagel that offered to pay for my food but I declined on principal. My whole family comes here a lot I'll make sure to tell them to stop! read more

This is a must visit place for doughnuts. We actually got breakfast here two days in a row. Very fresh. Place seems very clean and the service was excellent! I prefer Just glaze w chocolate on top. Husband loved the jelly filled and custard filled doughnuts! read more

Great place to get a donut and coffee every morning... Which I do when I'm in the area. Wish they would put different frostings on the old fashion donuts but they will do it for you if you ask. They are friendly here and it always feels good to visit a locally owned place rather than a chain!!! read more

Always a great experience. We love their breakfast sandwiches and bagels. I have often bought a few dozen donuts or bagels for events at work and they have always been a hit. The location is always clean even with a large amount of foot traffic. We have always had great service and when I call ahead to place a special order, it is always ready when I arrive. Hard bagels that when you ask to be toasted come out untoasted. Just save yourself the time and go to Dunkin Donuts,at least they will actually toast your bagel. The donuts are ok nothing special. Way too pricey for what you get. read more

Excellent donuts and pastries (apple fritters are amazing)! Bagels are good too, but we usually go for the donuts. Only down side is you have to go early to get some...they typically run out by late morning it seems and the selection of donuts diminishes rapidly the later in the morning you get there. Early bird gets the worm. So get there early and pick up a dozen donuts! You won't regret it! read more

Awesome bagels!! Me and my boyfriend always get everything toasted with veggie cream cheese. Best thing ever!! Expect, they have terrible customer service. the ladies that take our orders never listen I always ask for my bagel to be double toasted and when I receive it its barely ever toasted. I tried St. Pete Bagel Co (Indian Rocks Road) a couple of times. In my opinion the staff behind the counter were very rude and arrogant both times (particularly a short Asian woman today). I think their bagels don't taste any better than those from a grocery store and the donuts look good but are dried out and taste like pure sugar! I will discourage everyone I know from wasting their money there. read more

I LOVE st. Pete bagel! I go here several times a week for lunch, bagels, doughnuts, etc! Their food is delicious and very cheap! The service is quick and most of the employees are very nice and helpful. If your in a rush call ahead and it will be ready for you by the time you get there. There is one employee who seems to be the manger who is extremely unpleasant every time she helps me with her poor attitude and rude tone. Makes you feel like you are bothering her.... but she is the only negative I have to say about this restaurant! read more

We found this place while on vacation in IRB and we ended up having breakfast here 5 out of 7 mornings of our trip! We are originally New Yorkers and can be "bagel snobs", and this place has delicious bagels! (The donuts were fantastic too!) The coffee is amazing. The staff is super friendly. Even after a couple visits, they recognized us and gave our 4 year old a complimentary donut! I told the staff that if they ever decide to open a franchise in Cincinnati, we would be first in line! I went to St Pete Bagel this morning for a bagel and a cup of coffee and was somewhat surprised at the price of 3.46 and when I questioned it I was told they charge for the butter, something I have never heard of and I think is fairly recent. Having decided that I would not come again and go back to Panera where the atmosphere is far more pleasant as is the help, I wanted to just finish up and leave. Suddenly all three of the women there let out bloodcurdling shrieks and ran out from behind the counter looking underneath counters. I'm assuming from the womens' reaction that they spotted a rodent of some sort. Needless to say this place is off my list of places to eat Expensive and disgusting. read more
