At first, I had a hard time finding the office and went to the wrong building. A staff member was kind enough to direct me to the correct building. When I arrived at the gastroenterology office, I went to the check in window and Allison greeted me with a smile. She took my information and told me to wait until my name was called. I did not wait even five minutes before Jasmine called my name and took me in the back. Jasmine was very professional and kind and took my blood pressure and weight information. She asked me the triage questions and then told me to wait for Dr. Foster. Dr. Richard Foster came in and introduced himself to me. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. He explained the situation with my diverticulosis and what impact it has on my colon. He went over all the details regarding my colonoscopy and what the procedure will consist of that day. He was excellent in his explanation and very concise. The whole staff were very professional and helpful in making my appointment worthwhile and productive. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Foster handling my colonoscopy and explaining everything to me. This was very worthwhile and I'm happy to have Dr. Foster as my gastrenologist. It was a good visit.

I needed a biopsy on a lymph node quickly, and this location was able to get me in quickest, before the holidays. I arrived early, for my 8:30 a.m. appointment. Check in, with a very nice woman, was prompt. I was called back about 15 minutes later. I am so extremely thankful that my nurse was a wonderful gal named Cassie. She is absolutely excellent and her "bedside manner" rocks. Once I was changed into my gown for my procedure and she could see how heavily tattooed I am, she began telling me about how she'd had a scare similar to mine, and it ended up being tattoo ink in her lymph node. We appear to be fairly close in age, and both have tattoos from 15-20 years ago. She definitely helped put me at ease and remained upbeat, yet extremely caring thru the entire procedure. My doctors name was Matthew. He was a really nice guy. As we were getting started, I let him know that I have severe anxiety and what it looks like when I am about to have a panic attack and what I do to work thru it. He let me know how familiar he is with anxiety and reassured me that they would help me get thru it. Sure enough, my anxiety began to get the best of me. Cassie picked up on it quickly and began gently talking me thru what to do. No one has ever told me when this happens to me that I shouldn't close my eyes. I often pass out with my panic attacks. She kept gently encouraging me to keep my eyes opened and focused on any one thing and helped guide my breathing. I was pouring sweat, so she had the other nurse in the room get me a cold rag and had her help refresh it to keep it cold, for my forehead. Everyone was so great with me and so respectful of my boundaries and had true "caregiver" attitudes towards me. Someone in healthcare, PLEASE hear me! This is how you treat patients. Especially patients with trauma histories. Would you believe they discovered tattoo ink in my lymph node? Yup! Nurse Cassie called it. My sample was sent off for testing and then I was given another mammogram. Cassie did my mammogram and then took me to have my vitals checked. Once my blood pressure went back to normal, I was allowed to get dressed and go about my way. Stellar care. I absolutely could not ask for better or find a single item to critique.

I have tried to call and never gotten through to my doctor for weeks. They use phreesia check in system and I always feel the devices are dirty. Discussions for patient check are not personal nor friendly. The receptionist is curt with patients as she tells the to stand in line. The waiting room his clean and remodeled. There is a slim selection of magazines and no television or music. And I just got yelled at for not returning my phreesia. Yikes!! It is a good thing I love my doctor or I would never come here. They have online checkin that circumvents much of the checkin.

When we came back on April 6th the let me know they had not received her release or any information from California so they would only be able to give her a flu shot. The Medical Assistant said let me make sure it was sent to the right fax number she pulled up the fax confirmation sheet and showed me I was appreciative that they kept these things. So she re faxed the form 2 more times and the California doctors office wasn't getting it.(want to read my review on the California doctors office dr Raul Grover Pasadena CA) I was On the phone with the California office for an hour trying to tell them their FAX IS CLEARLY BROKEN so they finally sent me another fax number to another office to try and guess what... IT WORKED! So they finally sent the records over after they wrote down the wrong fax number. They office staff was so supportive the entire ordeal took me about an hour and a half to get the form and then they were able to give my child her immunizations and she can finally start school. The scheduling system is easy to use. And the communication between the Breast Center and the physician's office is great. I had my routine annual mammogram and physical, the mammogram results were with Dr. Hirsch within a day. It's great not to have to wait for results. And mist importantly, Dr. Hirsch has a great bedside manner. I have never waited long in the exam room, and she is engaging. She's clearly very intelligent but in the most friendly manner. She is thorough and careful. I feel like I get great care and I never feel like she's rushing, even though I am aware that her practice is quite busy.

As for the other 50+ practices is takes 2 months to get first appointment or more in many different fields such as but not limited to; IUHealth, neurologist, vascular neurologist, psychiatrist, psychologist, endocrinologist, physical therapist, vestibular physical therapy, radiologist, Internalists, and many more. I've always…read morebeen impressed with the attentive care and kindness shown whether there for a simple blood draw or bone density test to outpatient surgery. The nurses are wonderful preparing the patients for surgery. I'm a hard stick and the nurses always bring in the best and I've never been disappointed in their skill sets. The nurses are friendly, laid-back, informative, take excellent care of the patients and bring calm to nervous patients. Sometimes the surgeons have to push back surgery times but the nurses are excellent keeping patients updated. There is free parking in a large parking area with a few steps to the main entrance. The check-in desk is clearly marked as you enter and takes only seconds. The registration process took less than 5 minutes and afterwards I was walked directly to the radiology department. The staff was fabulous to work with and after my first appointment the tech walked me directly to the next department I had an appointment at. Both techs explained the procedures thoroughly and left me without questions. I was in and out in less than an hour for two appointments. Love how quickly and efficiently they work at this facility. Check if they are in your network and give them a try. I've never be disappointed and I don't think you'll be either.

She had me go and to someone and check me in (you know paper work) she was funny and very friendly also. Went back and had the X-ray and was back in my car in 15 minutes. Yes this is the way I like to do thing very quick. In and out not sitting there for hours.
