    Chicken Caeser Wrap

I should have opened the wrapper and looked at the sandwich before I left. I wouldn't have paid for it. Terrible chicken Caesar wrap. Mostly wrap and dressing.

Should be called the Crook Soup Company for how ridiculously priced the soup and sandwich was for the portion and quality we received. Not only was the portion super small, but it was cold and sloppy. Would not recommend.

Want a crock of soup with a delicious sandwich? Crocs is your place. This place serves an assortment of soups made fresh daily, including two of my favorites, the Croc soup (Gumbo) and the Potato Cheese soup. I love the small soup combo that includes a half of a sandwich. I've had both the Flying Croc and the Cheesy Croc, both grilled on a Vienna Panini, but the delicious smoked turkey and thick bacon inside the Fly Croc is the winner of the two. The soups are always full of flavor and taste similar to what mom would make on those cold winter nights. The potato cheese soup is basically puréed potatoes, potato skins and melted cheese, bursting with potato flavor. The staff here is amazing, they care about the place and its customers, very polite, accommodating and cheerful. This was one huge difference between this place and other sandwich places. The interior is simple, clean and inviting.

I like this place. They have my dream sandwich. It's called the California Croc. You love bacon? You don't want anything to stand between you and bacon? Here is this simple but awesome sandwich filled with crunchy thick cut bacon, romaine lettuce, fresh tomato on a wheat bread. Definitely the bacon here is the star and not just a supporting role it usually plays to let's say a turkey meat. A whole sandwich is $6.39. Half $4.15. I had the half sandwich and broccoli deal. I was full and happy! I will definitely be back!

Great selection of soups and price is way cheaper than Panera, and it's super clean inside with friendly employees

The staff was super nice and efficient but the sandwich was meh At the time I arrived they were already putting the chairs away because they were closing in a few, so I made a rushed decision: The Aspen Buddha (Turkey Swiss Curry Aioli Sunflower Seeds Lettuce Tomatoes Sprouts Banana Peppers Cucumbers). In my mind I was making a "healthy choice" but in reality I felt like I was about to eat a loaf of bread. I thought it seemed silly to pay only $2 less for a half a sandwich so I ordered the whole but then shamefully threw away most of the bread and ate only the innards which were also pretty boring. Even though I'm trying to keep my carb intake in check--I'm fully capable of for example enjoying a whole loaf of challah in one sitting if inspired but this wheat loaf did not inspire those kind of urges. As for the rest of the sandwich, it could have really used more curry aioli or something because I don't think I tasted that at all. If was ever forced to eat this same sandwich again I might ask for a side of vinaigrette, giardiniera, avocado. Something. The people were right: this was a dry sandwich. The reason I was even in Golden is because I wanted to test the feasibility of taking the W line to the Golden government center that is 2 miles from downtown and then riding my bike to have a picnic by Clear Creek. Turns out that yes, this is great with the understanding that the bike ride back to the light rail is way more intense when heading back to Denver. All uphill on my single speed! Without the Aspen Buddha, since it was 95 degrees or so I might have died had I not eaten/rehydrated. I am thankful for that. Also thankful for the life lesson about bringing my own picnic so I only have myself to complain to next time.

This restaurant is absolutely excellent. I would come here regardless of whether I was seeing a concert or not. The attention to detail, from the decor, to the drinks, to the food, to the service, is darn near perfect. We tried a mocktail and a cocktail, both cucumber-based. They were basically slightly different versions of the same drink and they were both wonderful and very refreshing. This place absolutely hits home runs with their cheese and charcuterie boards. They are stunningly beautiful. We went with two meats and two cheeses and our server provided excellent recommendations. We probably didn't need to have any more food other than the cheese and meat board but we decided to split a filet mignon and it was excellent. The food, drinks, decor, and service were all top-notch. I would return here again and again. I would eat and drink my way through the whole menu like a hungry goat, I guess.

We were excited to try them because they said they made their own juice, which I believe, but it may have gone sour or something. The goat cheese appetizer was not for me, it was just hot liquidy cheese. Maybe it would be better in the winter. The salmon was decent but not what I expected. It was almost prepared like an Asian dish. However the service was awesome. The ambiance is cute but I wouldn't recommend it for a super hot day because the restaurant is indoor/outdoor

They were kind of just fatty pieces of barbecue meat. Still delicious and the sauces were great, but not really what I was hoping for. We ordered cheese curds, which were actually cubes and that is the first time I've ever seen shaped curds. They were pretty good, as was the sausage and mac & cheese, though the cheese sauce was a little thin. My mom had the focaccia grilled cheese, which had awesome flavors in it, but the focaccia itself was super thick. If we could decrease the bread by like half I think this would be an awesome choice. I think the main reason I would go to the Eddy is to hang out on their patio, especially when they have live music. It's a good view of golden in the foothills and its probably a great sunset spot. They also have a lot of good nonalcoholic options which we really appreciated - including nonalcoholic wine, which you don't see very often . I think I would stop back here on my way back from hiking or climbing in the canyon but I hope to be a little more impressed by the food next time.
