Easily the best card store in San Diego County. Their National City location is great as well. It is spacious and can host TCG tournaments. Drew, the owner and his staff provide stellar customer service. I had a wonderful time speaking with him during all visits and he has a wide assortment of singles, boosters and decks. They have the latest along with legacy collections for most TCG Sets. They also have board games, funko pops and various collectibles at a wide range at high value. I know the QC for the BIE series was all over the place, but all 4 were really off looking and upon scanning the QR code it leads to non official Popmart authentication link that could be phishing to steal phone data. This place is real cool, every time I've come here I always leave with something. They've got all your card needs (Pokemon, Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, & more) as well as tons of Funko pops - even some signed ones. It's a pretty big space so it never feels too overcrowded even where there's a lot of people inside and there's always plenty of employees there to assist with any needs. Overall it's a cool store, price wise I haven't notice it's more expensive or less expensive than any other similar stores so I'll continue to shop here when I'm in the area. read more

A neat little store for collectors in the categories of trading cards such as Yugi Oh, Pokemon, etc. they also have Pops, comic books, action figures and more but not as many as the other Comics and Stuffs stores where they are more in depth and specialized in toys. I was here mainly for Ian James Corlett, he had a special signing event in the store, he played one of my childhood characters in Transformers Beast Wars and it was rare to see him make appearances down to SD. So I made my efforts to come, the line here at Parkway Plaza is moving fast compared to the other location in Plaza Bonita, so far so good, I got my stuff signed and took my pictures, the staff were friendly, I got everything I needed, quick and easy. They also had another talent here, but I wasn't familiar with, hopefully they could book more people to come to the store in the future read more

They refused to give me a refund saying that's the policy, however I was never told about the "return/ exchanges" policy and on top of that, I was never given a receipt for the purchase in the first place. Their sales rep who also shares my name Andrew was completely unprofessional when dealing with when I tried to purchase some items. Most of the reviews are pretty accurate as they are rude, save your time and money and go to another card shop. Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 40 years. They buy low from unsuspecting customers then resell it immediately for higher prices. If you know what you have don't bother coming here, if you have to check the value of your cards first then see first hand how they low ball you. MAAAAANNNNN, do they have some cool stuff for good prices! Didn't catch his name, but the taller guy with the glasses grabbed some boxes of loose singles from behind the counter for us and let us dig through to find some gems! I do graveyard shifts on the weekends and was stoked to be able to attend the dragon ball signing this weekend after work. So, I went ahead and decided to look into purchasing a $60 VIP Deluxe Pass which includes a Funko Pop / Protector and Front of the line access. It turns out it was sold out and went ahead to just purchase the $20 VIP Pass which is just front of the line access. Mind you this was for the event on Saturday and it was marking as sold out online. Also, prior to even making any purchases I messaged StackedPax on Instagram asking about more information regarding the event and got no response what so ever. So, during my shift on Saturday night I decided to check out the website again. It turned out that there were Deluxe VIP Passes available again all of a sudden. I proceed to purchase one. Then, I emailed StackedPax asking about a potential upgrade or refund but I haven't gotten a response even until now after attending the event. Upon arriving I noticed that it was empty only one other person in front of me. I had to walk up to the front cashier since no one welcomed us or anything. The guy who helped me was very monotone and just asked what Funko I wanted Goku or Vegeta. I went ahead and spoke to Stephanie the voice of Kid Goku and Teen Gohan. Although, I was more stoked to meet the voice of mini Vegeta Paul Castro in the new Daima series. There was some older guy sitting there who was just giving me prices about signatures and posters. They had a tiny little sign with prices. Mind you this was my first time ever attending an event like this. So, Stephanie just proceeds to say do you want a quote and the year and my signature. I say yes. She says ok that will be $80 but don't worry it will be worth more now. I didn't go to this event to resell this item but as a true fan. I was so disappointed and shocked in the moment that I gave the $80 dollars, grabbed the Funko, and left. I didn't even say thank you, goodbye, or anything. I completely left without even grabbing one of the Daima posters with Vegeta on them which I really wanted. I was so bummed out. It was definitely not what I was expecting and honestly let down. The management did a horrible job promoting this and it really felt like they were doing this to finesse people. $160 total spent. For a Funko that I saw at Boxlunch a few days ago for like $15 and no line in sight in regard to the VIP passes. I'm just beyond disbelief with how this whole situation played out. I wasn't alone either my girlfriend was with me and she was just as shocked. All said and done, just be aware with this place and the type of events it hosts. read more

With all due respect... this place is in a very very nice mall or plaza. I paid in advance for a signing event, bought VIP passes for me and my girl, and went in with great attitude. I was sooooo happy to meet the Pokemon star voice actor Erica Shroeder, so we paid and had our cards ready. Upon arriving this is where stuff got weird lol. Here are the following red flags that occurred - there was NO line - there was no one in the store besides myself, my girl, 1 single customer, and a group of dudes in a circle who neglected the whole store - owner took our $120 and then said there was NO Authenticator there - hate to say but I think owner since updated the web checkout page and removed items included initially such as authentication included, autograph, etc - Erica saw us standing there as we were the ONLY people there to get signatures at this time in the entire store and she said "she's going on break" - when she came back from break we found out that we had to pay an additional $60 PER SIGNATURE to Erica for a signature - the entire staff was young dudes who all stood in the corner and made inside jokes with each other as the other 1 or 2 customers weren't helped to checkout - when asked what we get included with $120 the owner just stared at me lol - I asked for refund and the owner just stared at me lol It's almost like they didn't even want us there lol I'll keep you updated on the refund process. This location has a lot of merchandise but the location in Bonita is more attentive. I had been going to the location at Parkway for weeks and wasn't told about their rewards program and the first time I pulled up to Bonita they signed me up. I went back to Parkway this last weekend and they were training a new employee. I entered my number and a free booster pack popped up and the guy training her skipped over it so I asked about it. It seemed like the employee training the new employee got a little attitude over it. I think the customer service needs to be addressed at Parkway. Other than that it's a good store.
