The Bella Blues burger had NO flavor at ALL except for the greens, which were really bitter, honestly. Very dissatisfied with that choice. The Ride the Lightning burger, though, was one of the best burgers I have EVER had. It was salty, sweet, and the flavor was potent. The chipotle blueberry compote was out of this world and mixed absolutely perfectly with the Brie spread. Absolutely amazing. The regular fries were really good. The sweet potatoes fries were okay, nothing special. The honey mustard was really good! We also got a drink with a pea flower syrup and while it isn't the drink I typically go for, it was very nice and light, super floral-forward. I suggest that drink if you like something that isn't a deep flavor or strongly alcoholic. The service was fast and the restaurant was mostly empty while we were there. The greeter at the door was very friendly and made a very great impression immediately. It was fine for us, but there is a club next door, so if you go later at night, the floor will be shaking while you're eating.

My cousin and I tried this place for lunch. There's metered street parking. They have smaller menu but will be expanding it soon. What's really cool is that you can order your burger off the menu or you can build your own starting with a hamburger, salmon or chicken base. You can also get a drink off the menu or build your own. We started with wings and fried pickles. Both had really good flavor and they also came with dipping sauces. My beef/pork combo burger was really good - it was juicy and flavorful. Great fries too! The strawberry lemonade was pretty good - it was a different taste since it was made with bourbon. It got quite busy while we were there. Our server was great. Go give them a try.

We strolled in here after an afternoon of sipping Rosé all day! Perfect ending to a great afternoon. We were greeted upon arrival and seated at the bar as we were told they were busy and understaffed. I absolutely love the upfront honesty!! Had a great vibe. Bar tender was amazing as were the Hot Garlic Parmesan Wings. The wings and drinks could win awards. Will definitely return.

Went in late afternoon & the place wasnt busy. The server sat us right away & checked with us for drinks. I ordered a bloody mary- vegetable. It was pretty spicy. I was glad i didnt order the fuego version. We also ordered the barnburner burger. Spicy!!!! I like spicy food but this was a bit too much for me. Had to take iff the bun w all the sauce on it. Also had the pickle chips with buffalo ranch. They were thin & not overly breaded. The buffalo ranch was a nice twist. Wait staff was attentive & made recommendations when asked. Only weird thing- there were employees a table or 2 away & one of them was getting their review. Strange. Should have been in an office ir isolated area. We felt bad for the poor employee getting reviewed in the general public.

I was craving a burger so we turned to Reddit to figure out the best STL burger spot near us and Stacked came highly recommended. This seems to be the secondary location. I believe the primary is in South City. We walked in at 2pm on a Friday and were immediately seated and ordered. We got the Fuego (Medium) and Barn (Medium Rare) burgers with their fries and creamy coleslaw respectively. Our order arrived 27 minutes later. We felt that was a bit long given how few other people were in the restaurant at the time. The burgers themselves were... not as great as we were promised. My Fuego came slathered in sauce which fell out readily when picked up, particularly because picking up our burgers was difficult; the burger patty was 50% smaller than their buns! Speaking of the buns, they were dry and smushed. My husband's burger came out correctly medium rare, but mine was completely well done. The coleslaw was the best piece of the meals as the fries were overly dried out. We did not finish them and went home to make our own from the frozen Great Value fries we had in our freezer. For a meal that cost us $45 all in, we were sorely disappointed. We will not go again and are still on the search for a great burger.

Trippppy burger and red hot fries!

We went here on a Saturday night and were hopeful we wouldn't have a long wait. We were seated quickly and the waitress gave us a rundown of the menu. I ordered the Trippppy burger with the red hot fries. Omg, that burger was soo good and so were the fries. I forgot what my husband got but he said he enjoyed his as well. Burgers came out quickly! Restaurant is a nice large space with plenty of seating. I don't think they changed it too much from what it was before! I will def go again!

WOW!!!! I heard Stacked STL was delicious, but never got to try it before. With their new location opening in the Central West End, I was excited to finally check it out since it's closer to me than their other location. I used to wonder how good a burger could really be, but I was completely wrong. It's hard to find thick, juicy burgers these days. Most places only offer thin, smashed patties with buns that are thicker than the meat itself. If it's thick burgers, you find it to be dry or less flavorful. However, Stacked STL is different! Their burgers are not only thick but very juicy and flavorful. I got the Trippy Burger the first time and the Mushroom Derby on my second visit. Yes, I already went back not long after my first time because it was so delicious. As of now, my favorite is the Trippy Burger. The fries are crispy and delicious, but you have to try them with their spicy ketchup! Writing this review is making me crave lunch today...

Stacked has officially opened its second location in the Central West End, taking over the former Pi Pizzeria space at Euclid and McPherson. Like its original Carondelet location, Stacked CWE offers a menu of signature burgers or the option to build your own using a customizable order card with a wide selection of buns, patties, toppings, and sauces. I visited on a Friday night when it was fairly busy and opted to sit at the bar to avoid the wait for a table. I chose to build my own burger, and it did not disappoint. In a time where smash burgers are all the craze, Stacked notably offers a traditional steakhouse burger. They also offer appetizers and salads for those looking for additional options. Despite the crowd, the staff kept things moving and made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I look forward to returning in the future.

Great location and addition to the CWE. Wonderful service, atmosphere and menu offerings. The meal just didn't hit a home run for me. Kicked off with the Fried Pickles and they needed another minute in the fryer. Wanted them to have a crunch, but alas they were not. Opted for a build your own burger, American, bacon, onion straws on TX Toast, med-well. Came out well, so we'll it was dry and no juice factor at all. Onion straws also needed another minute in the fryer to get that crunch factor. Fries were fine.

Service: Upon walking it I was greeted and got sat down. The waitress was very attentive a d helped me pick things out from the menu. Ambiance: The place was very spacious which I think they have an outside patio. They have a full bar for cocktails as well. Food: I tried a couple items from the menu. Fish sandwich- didn't like it. Had not type of taste just fishy and bread. Sig Hot wings - FIRE!! Absolutely loved these. I didn't know how I was going to feel with that Parmesan on them but it was really good. Cooked perfectly. Buffalo chicken T-Rav - these were also very good! Nice crunchy exterior but really good Buffalo chicken inside. Guacamole bites - I was hesitant on ordering these but they were really good! I would definitely come back for these. En Fuego - I thought this burger was just okay. I wasn't a fan of the corn guacamole on the burger. Trippy - I liked this burger. With that pineapple poblano chutney gave a nice sweet heat to the burger and the burgers and smash. They are a nice size patties. Don't skip out on the drinks either

I stopped by the new Stacked location in the CWE on a Saturday afternoon and had a fantastic meal. I love all the window tables especially on a sunny day with all the natural lighting. I started with a seasonal cocktail which was fantastic and the buffalo chicken toasted ravs which are one of the best appetizers I've had in a while. The burgers are huge it was definitely a knife and fork situation but the flavors were really good. I definitely will be back again with the whole family next time.

My experience at stacked was decent the food was ok not bad but not the best. I had the wings which were good but the buffalo was lacking spice to, the chilli was not good at all, i made a custom burger and it was actually good but im my opinion not worth the cost. My gf also had a custom burger which she enjoyed. The service was amazing great server and friendly staff. The inside is nice but we sat outside which in cwe is a pretty good spot although the chairs are very uncomfortable. Overall it was a good time i would recommend trying if you like burgers, but wouldnt return myself personally.

I did the Build Your Own Burger with blue cheese crumbles, pickle, onion, and sourdough bread. I asked for burger medium and the french fries extra crispy. I felt like the burger and fries were both a little under and the bread was over toasted. My lunch date also got the Build Your Own Burger with the port wine cheese. Nice people. I've been eating at the Patch location since the early days and this one is nice, and the murals are cute, but was a little off for me. I'll definitely give it another go next time I'm in the CWE.

We (party of 4) waited about 1 hour to get a table outside. While waiting for our table, I ordered the Woody Straw at the bar, and it was delicious. The strawberry liqueur and basil vodka paired well, and it was refreshing. The only issue was that it wasn't filled all the way. There was ice filled to the top to give an illusion of a full drink, but it was obviously not full. After being seated outside, I ordered a red Sangria. It was sweet, tart, and the perfect drink to go with the Dylan Pizza. The pizza was incredible and Neapolitan-style. It was smooth and the combination of flavors worked well. I loved the honey and caramelized onions, but the olive oil base made the pizza a little soggy over time. The service here was a bit underwhelming. After being sat outside, the servers switched, and we didn't get taken care of until it was near closing time. However, the patio and pizza were stars of the show, and definitely have me wanting to come back.

'ssippi is a new(ish) wine bar set towards the western end of the collection of bars, restaurants, and shops that are the heart of the strip. The inside has a large wrap about bar and some limited seating. There is a very good selection of wine and mixed drinks and an okay selection of beer. The prices are reasonable. There is a very limited food menu which largely consists of snacks rather than proper entrees. So this is a great pre/post drink spot rather than somewhere you would spend an evening. The bartenders were fine. Nothing stood out either in a good or bad way. The mixed drink my wife had was very good. The orange wine I had was good, a bit on the dry side but overall no complaints from either of us. Without a highlight of the spot is the large patio. It is mostly taken up by large bench style seating. So you have to be okay sitting next to strangers. I actually enjoy these types of settings and I ended up chatting up the group to our right. There are a couple tables but they are few and far between. There are some overhead canopies and lights, and there was a nice vibe and energy. I was there and it was crowded. I really enjoyed it. Just two additional things to note. The bathroom line was very long. It must only be one stall. The entire time I was there it was a dozen people deep. The only other downside is that my wife and I felt old. The vibe on a late(ish) Saturday night was mainly 20 year olds. If I was in grad school or a recent graduate I would absolutely adore this place. Even if your 30s this probably is a good vibe. Once you hit 40 though you may feel a bit out of place on busy nights (or it will make you feel young again!)

That's the vibe. We started on the front patio on a Friday night and quickly realized we'd made a mistake. The doors to the interior were open and the music -- a rock-forward playlist that night -- was loud enough that we considered bailing. Our server, was unbothered when we asked to move up to the rooftop. Where we met with a new bartender and server, London, who rolled with it, got us resettled, and from that point on the night was great. London was clearly handling the bar and most of the rooftop tables, but she was attentive throughout, and made eye contact, which seems a near miracle from many 20-something these days. Bumping the score up just for the flexibility on the table move alone. The food: crab cakes were genuinely good, not life-changing, but well above the weak-crab-cake bar that exists in most of the world, served simply with capers and a small salad. I went off-script and ordered the wagyu burger medium rare with fontina (London mentioned cheddar is the more common pick, but the Fontina offerd a great alternative). The burger was deeply flavorful and cooked exactly right, but here's my one real note for the kitchen: toast the brioche bun. Wagyu medium-rare puts out a lot of juice, and an untoasted bun loses its structural integrity about three bites in. A quick toast would let the bun keep some additional integrate and keep up with the perfectly cooked beef. The pom buff were great, the best elevated patato tots you may come by. Beyond what we ordered, the Greek salad is a longtime go-to -- chopped, with grape leaves and pita, available in a small or large, and easily dressed up into a light meal with or without adding some protein or can be share as a self-dress bruschetta appetizer for the group if you ask for extra bread. The cheese boards are also a reliable pick. The wine list is extensive (it's a wine bar, after all), but they don't sniff at cocktails -- I had a solid fine old fashioned, and my wife shared had a Malbec that paired well with everything. Lots of gluten-free options across the menu, too. What Sasha's gets right is that it has refused to become precious. "Wine bar" reads as pretentious to some people, but this place runs as a neighborhood spot. You'll see college kids dressed way down, couples on dates dressed way up, Hawaiian shirts, oversized sweaters, the full range. It's the kind of place where you can split a bottle with your girlfriends, meet a date for drinks and a quick bite without committing to a full dinner, or roll in for brunch on the weekend. Different times of day, different vibes -- always approachable. 4.7 stars. Loses a few tenths for the front-patio music situation and the weak burger bun, but more than makes up for it on flexibility, food, and overall hang factor.

After explaining we'd just be there briefly for a drink, we were allowed to sit there, but the interaction felt dismissive. From that point on, the experience felt rushed. We were pushed to order quickly, our menus were taken right away, and the check came almost immediately. It made what should have been a relaxed stop feel uncomfortable and transactional. I understand how busy restaurants can get, especially on nice days, but a little more consideration and courtesy would have gone a long way.

And the order of "salmon cakes", which the menu says is made of "smoked salmon, roast corn, tomato, cucumber, creme fraiche, and capers" was in fact just one cake (not cakes!), smaller than a hockey puck (about 1/2" thick max) and seemed to be made of canned fish, not the bright orange of smoked salmon. It was accompanied by five thin slices of cucumber and three or four halved grape tomatoes. No corn, no capers. It was so boring, and an overpriced disappointment at $23. If this Bridge is actually closing and focusing on the event space, they've gone out with a whimper. And if they're actually continuing service, I hope they get the food a little closer to the menu descriptions. Our drinks and water glasses were empty for long stretches. Our server was very pleasant and polite, but must've had way too much to do.

The food- 3 of 4 of us said it was just ok. The other really liked theirs. We had 2 different pastas & 2 different sandwiches. Calabrian carbonara & citrus fettuccine. They were both kinda bland & not much flavor. Large portions. Wagyu reuben & smoked french. The reuben was a hit. The smoked french was too smoky. We had the pumpkin ricotta appetizer. It was pretty tasty. And the caesar was a large portion & decent flavor.

They had a vast menu of alcohol - we ended up getting a few glasses of wine. Unfortunately, they were not offering food on the day we went, but they partnered with next door, where we were able to order food - which was also really good. It was not busy when we went so our server had all attention on us. We had prompt refills and regular check ins. Overall, an awesome spot to grab a chill glass of wine with a friend :)

I arrived at 10:30 and it was packed. My friend was already waiting and managed to snag a two-top.bit took quite a while before a server came and gave us menus and water. When she came back around, we both got the Violet letter (mezcal, crème de violet, citrus, and lemon. Here's where things took a turn.... For two drinks and with no exaggeration, it took well over a half-hour if not longer to get them. Minute after minute passed by where we watched the other tables get their drinks and we had to wait forever and a day for ours. By the time we got ours, I wasn't even in the mood. Of course it didn't help that the kitchen was closed, so we had no food to go with it. The drink itself was smoky, so smoky that it overpowered the rest of the ingredients in the drink, although I tasted hints of violet. Overall, the experience could have been better. I'm willing to give this place another shot, but maybe at a different time when it's not so busy.

The sangria was so refreshing! We also had a few small plates (bbq chicken flatbread, cheese plates and hummus) and everything was delicious. They had a cute little back patio and a citronella candle was provided when mentioning that some mosquitoes were flying around. Was a perfect spot for a little date night :)

We stumbled across Novella last-minute, and I am beyond grateful we discovered this gem! The inside is so warm and cozy. We sat at a table in the back, and it was very private and secluded in our corner. The owner said the beautiful table we were sitting at was hand-made. We also took a peek at the back patio, and I seriously can't wait to visit this spring and summer once it's nice and warm outside! The string lights out there were absolute perfection. We tried different wines and mixed drinks. The owner was so helpful and answered all our questions about the menu. I also love that they offer a seasonal menu. All of the food sounded so good, too. We totally would've ordered some if we hadn't just eaten a large meal beforehand. Guess that means I'll have to try some next time I'm back! I'm already planning my next visit. This is truly a special place!
