we finally had the chance to order a couple of pizzas from Stackers and all of us were quite happy with it. Ordering by the phone was OK, voice on the other end was slightly muffled. The options of having multiple choices on one pie is great to keep everyone happy; we had a half/half Italian combo and meat lover, the other one was Hawaiian / Chicken Pesto. Picked up in 30 minutes without any problem. We really enjoyed the thin crust with sesame ; with right amount of toppings that were fresh and tasty. I placed the delivery order at 3:07pm, the estimated arrival time was 3:59- 4:19pm. no calls, no updates at 4:25pm, so I decided to call Grubhub , the representative reached out to the pizzeria and they said they would deliver within the next 30 minutes, which should be before 5pm. We had to call Grubhub again at 5:10, they said their orders got packed up....and finally they got here. NO APOLOGIES. AT LEAST, informed us about the order!! it's one hour late then the estimated time which is not acceptable! two hours to get our food! my daughter was starving and they didn't even apologize ! what type of customer services and we've always gave them good tips! First time here - absolutely returning!! The pizza is really good!! The crust has sesame seeds on it (I might ask for a plain pizza, no toppings, just seeds next time!) and it's very light. They are the closest pizzeria to our home and everyone in the family enjoys their gourmet pizzas. Pretty large portion sizes and a great value for money. Their gourmet veggie pizzas, and some unique toppings like zucchini, artichokes, corn, etc are the unique ones. HOLY PIZZA CRAZE! My friend ordered a pizza for our draft recently and when it arrived I think we were all super shocked. This pizza is sized like a NY pizza, I mean, literally huge. I think it's probably half my height and I'm not short. The pizza comes with sesame sprinkled on the crust and cut up in small squares perfect for a party. I double-checked to make sure I hadn't made the wrong choice when I ordered, but there wasn't any option for regular vs. sesame seed. The dough, sauce, cheese and toppings were flavorful. I tried this place yesterday after I was craving a pizza. I was perhaps misled by the great reviews. Unfortunately, the pizza here was terrible. I had ordered the special, ( a 2 topping pizza, the garlic bread and a bottle of Pepsi). The pizza had very little cheese and was tasteless.. The color of the cheese changed into a pale greyish cream color once the pizza cooled down. I have never seen anything like it. As for the garlic bread it was bone dry and tasteless. I have never tasted a pizza as terrible as this. Even frozen pizzas are better. Poor quality ingredients, you can tell with your first bite...sub par taste, stay away from this place. Awesome pizza - BUT BEWARE! Do NOT use your credit card there. Phoned in an order, weeks later when my card statment showed up, got a charge from "digi' something or other for "merchandise" with a zip code in Santa Monica which I hadn't been in for years. Card company said it was a manually-made charge in Santa Monica. Refused to pay the charge since it appeared fraudulent, then went through the agony of canceling my credit card number, getting a new card, and contacting all the companies paid monthly with the old card. Weeks later got a call - from Detroit! - saying the refused charge was from Stackers. Will not pay - still worried this could be an elaborate fraud, and if not, the pain in the rear this caused me was worth a lot more than the amount of the charge. Will never use anything but cash at this place. NEVER had such a mess on credit card charge before. read more

With the weird weather we were having, I just wasn't feeling up to making dinner or even going out. So we decided to have pizza delivered from somewhere we hadn't tried before. Yelp suggested Stackers and I saw that they delivered and I could order through Yelp so YAY! I read over the reviews and they were fantastic so I started my on-line order. Ordering was pretty easy with one minor issue. I couldn't figure out how to choose a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza. My daughter and I like totally different things on our pizza's so I ended up ordering two separate smalls. Once your order is complete, you have the option to use PayPal or pay with cash upon delivery. I opted to pay cash. I recieved and email telling me the ETA of my pizza and how to track it's delivery schedule. Kinda cool. Said it would take anywhere from 40min to an hour. He arrived in what felt like 25. I paid with cash, tipped him and he went on his way. Small pizzas were decent size. Here's what we ordered: 1 small pepperoni w/pineapple 1 small artichoke, mushrooms, zucchini and fresh tomato Both pizzas were good but not what I had hoped for based on other reviews. Yes, the sesame seeds were a nice touch but the fact that the crust was so thin and limp and even a tad under cooked was just disappointing. Flavors were spot on. Veggies were fresh and not overcooked. There was the right amount of sauce but could have used more cheese. I liked that mine wasn't greasy but my daughter felt hers was. However she did have pepperoni which generally can be greasy. Overall, I think the ease of ordering online was great. $1.50 delivery fee was AWESOME and the freshness of the veggies was surprising. But unfortunately, Stackers just didn't make my list of local favorites. It was just "Ok" for me. read more
