Parking in this shopping center can be crazy as it's in an area with very popular restaurants, dessert spots, and shopping. Service is great, atmosphere is nice, it's the food...we got buffalo wings and tai chili wings. Both wings were small and both dry, the buffalo sauce tasted past it's prime. The combo pizza had no sauce, and the bottom of crust still dusted of flour/cornmeal or whatever they use. Just not flavorful. The sausage jalapeño in white sauce was mid, but definitely better than the chicken in white sauce. It's not the best I've ever had, but a pretty good combination of toppings, while being lighter on the sauce with a pretty airy/crispy crust. They sure don't skimp on toppings though! The legends seemed like their version of the supreme and that was ok tasting. There was too much on top to taste the sauce or the cheese. The cuts into the pizza was so much that each slice looks an inch thick. The chipotle chicken was different to others i tasted. It didn't have the chipotle flavor or sauce that others have. I originally had a frustrating experience with an order from the Cupertino Legends Pizza location. I ordered pizza and 5 sodas directly through their website (not Uber), and the order total was about $110 including tip. The receipt clearly showed the sodas, but when the pizza was delivered--by an Uber driver--the drinks were missing. When I called the Cupertino store, the employee told me to call Uber even though I explained the order was placed through their website. The call ended abruptly, and when I called back I still wasn't able to get help. I asked about a refund or having the sodas delivered, but was told no. I also asked for a manager and was told there wasn't one available. At the time, it felt like the issue wasn't being taken seriously. However, the situation was later resolved. The owner contacted us the next day to personally apologize for the experience and offered a refund for the missing items. I really appreciated the follow-up and the effort to make things right. Mistakes can happen with orders, but the owner taking the time to reach out and resolve the issue meant a lot. Legends has the best tasting pizzas, for $40 it should be the best quality however today we were very disappointed with the thick crust. It was very flat, dense, and hard. I decided to give Legends a second chance. It did not go well. Same results with yet another burnt pizza crust. It's disappointing how far the quality of pizzas from this joint have gone down since the days of JT McHarts. Years ago the JT crew always baked a golden brown pizza crust. That perfectly baked crust set them apart and customers raved about it. But not anymore. The guys working the Legends ovens are hacks that cannot produce an evenly baked crust to save their life. My experience has shown they consistenly burn the crust. I paid $28 each time and got a burnt pizza. I tried to contact the owners to provide them feedback. Even went to the store to leave my name and number requesting a call back. I hoped to have a conversation and then see changes. Did not receive a follow up call. My conclusion they aren't interested in feedback. I gave them a chance (a few days to get back to me) before writing this review. I'm done with this place. read more

It sucks when you are a first time customer and the food is disappointing. First, I spent $82.50 on a large pizza and some abused half/half chicken wings. First, my pizza crust was burned, like scorched, it didn't tadte bad but the crust was a waste, and the wings weren't completely cooked they were weirdly shaped and looked like the chicken may have been abused. Tried the combo pizza, The Legend, for delivery over the weekend while watching the NBA playoffs. Was great that the Cupertino location delivers to Santa Clara. No problems with service. The pizza arrived hot, filled with toppings to the edges. The quality of the ingredients is comparable to Round Table Pizza, and that's a compliment because RT uses high quality ingredients. But Legends certainly stands out with the special sourdough recipe they use for their crust. It's a little thicker, fluffier, and has pretty good flavor... so no boring crusts here, though heavier in the carbs than it looks. The pizza at Legends wasn't mind-blowing. I've lived by this place for over a decade but never tried it until recently because they send out coupons in the monthly neighborhood mailer. Their pizza is not quite deep dish, but it definitely comes close with it's poofy-ness! I like that the crust is both puffy and soft, but also crunchy to bite into. Like others have observed, their toppings do tend to fall off, but it's because they don't tend to sprinkle cheese over the toppings. But don't be afraid, they definitely use plenty of mozzarella!
