    Loco Moco with longanisa
    Kelsey N.

I was excited I was right near this place and got to have a good hawaiian style breakfast! The pancakes were amazing and the ube syrup really made it. The loco moco with the longanisa was good but I would want to try another meat next time. Good portions for the price and the staff were super friendly and kept everything clean. I also really like they had a lot of outdoor seating where you can enjoy the views.

I was skeptical about going to a pancake chain, after several unimpressive experiences with IHOP. This is the only Stacks I've been to and it was good. The portions were generous, and it was surprisingly tasty. Everyone finished their meals or got takeout boxes. Service was friendly. Seating is tight on a Saturday, so grab a table quickly if you see one. The parking situation in the complex is even worse, but not an issue if you don't mind parking on the street and walking.

I had this California omelette. Wife had a stack of pineapple coconut pancakes!!

Really great food and atmosphere. The servers are so nice,m and so was the atmosphere! I ordered two spam musubis, a kids breakfast with an Oreo pancake and a biscoff latte. Very much enjoyed the food and time there.

This place hit the spot. It was such a great surprise to find a breakfast spot with a Hawaiian twist. The food was fantastic and the juice was fresh. Order out the window and then grab a seat.

Casual breakfast place when staying in Dana Point that I've been visiting for over ten years. It closes at 2:00. I recommend the buttermilk pancakes, eggs Benedict, Loco Moco and the breakfast sandwiches. There are several tables inside and outside. If you see a table, have someone in your party snag it because the seating will fill up quickly on the weekends. I could eat there 2-3 days in a row. Huge breakfast menu, but you got to get at least one pancake!

this is one of our favorite brunch places! we got the the loco moco with katsu & kalua pork omelette with a side of macadamia pancakes. the pancakes were so delicious. they had the crispy crust on the outsides and were soft in the middle. the sauce in the loco moco complimented the katsu very well. the food is delicious however it might be a little difficult to find parking in this area.

The food was good at this place, the waiting line was like 20-30 min. The parking is next to the building. When you park get down by the stairs and it takes you directly to the place. The environment is nice, music not loud, good to talk. The reason I give 4 stars is because of the cashier she wasn't paying attention, I asked for macadamia pancakes but she didn't put it on the order, we have to reorder and waste.more time because of the time. We are shorter on time sometimes because of work, and visiting places like this will be amazing if they can save us time.

Breakfast Egg Burrito with kahlua pork and hawaiian latte

We had such a good experience here! got a breakfast burrito with kahlua pork + a hawaiian latte (macademia nut + coconut). I will say the drinks run a little sweet (I asked for less sweet and it was perfect) but the staff are super nice and can make it with fewer pumps!

I ordered the two eggs with protein bacon was my protein. I selected pancakes. I also had coffee. Everything was good. The pancakes didn't come out with the eggs and bacon. I was almost finished when they came out. I had to use a lot of cream because the coffee was strong. It reminded me of Kona coffee. Everyone was really nice and I liked the island music.

    Oreo Cookie N Cream Pancake
    Melissa M.

Love the food here. The pancakes are some of the fluffiest pancakes I've tried. We got the cookies and cream Pancakes, eggs and steak hibachi, and the loco moco with chicken katsu. Everything was so flavorful. The steak was so delicious and tender. Maybe a little on the saltier side but nothing that was deter me from getting it again. The loco moco sauce was flavorful. You order before you take a seat. So take a look at the menu beforehand so you know what to decide on. And good look deciding because everything sounded so good. I would like to go back and try some of the other pancakes they have. It's a small place but nothing overwhelming once you find your seat.

Do they serve gf pancake or waffles ... again?

    They serve both

I just read a review from this year about how good the gluten-free pancakes are. Did you bring back the gluten-free pancakes and the gluten-free waffles?

Did you ever bring back your??gf pancakes or gf waffles?

Hi it looks like you used to have gluten-free pancakes and waffles. Just want to know if you still serve gluten-free pancakes and or gluten free waffles? Thx !!

Sadly, they do not and haven't had any GF items since before Mothers Day '23. This used to be my go to GF pancake place I'm still looking for a replacement.

There's usually a line, but it moves quickly. You order and pay at the door, and they call your name when your order is ready. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. It's a little more expensive than some other poke spots, but we think it's worth it. You can really taste the freshness of the fish, and the flavors are delicious. You can build your own bowl or choose from one of their preset options. It's a cute little hole-in-the-wall spot with a few picnic tables if you want to eat there, but we love taking ours to the park. I almost felt like I was back in Hawaii for a sec! FAVORITE ITEMS: - #2 Large. Salmon and ahi tuna. Pretty fresh, and mind you, we came just before closing time. I'd probs stick with the rice over the shredded cabbage. The cabbage gave it a bit of a weird texture personally but it wasn't bad. They do charge you for sides which is a slight bummer but the poke bowls are not terribly expensive so it's ok. I tried the seaweed salad and edamame too - pretty standard sides, nothing too crazy. PARKING: There is a small lot but also street parking right next to the spot. SERVICE: they were really nice, and quite fast! PRICE: about $12.99 for a regular and $16.50 for a large. Overall, pretty solid spot to get your poke at! I'd recommend if you are more into Hawaii style type of poke.

I ended up here in the middle of the day while working in the area. Never been before. I try to avoid chains when I can and pick something new each time. This place caught my eye, and I'm glad I walked in. It's a small, family-run vibe -- and I mean literally. Looked like a husband and wife running everything themselves. They were both super polite, calm, and you can tell they really care about the food and about every guest who walks in. No rush, no attitude, just warm hospitality. I went with something safe for me -- ramen and salmon sushi. And both were just... really solid. Not overcomplicated, not trying to be something fancy. Just good food made right. The broth had depth, noodles cooked right, and the sushi was fresh with balanced flavor. No complaints there at all. The place itself is small. Not a big dining room. A few tables inside, clean but definitely more of a takeout-focused spot. They don't have a restroom available inside, which kind of confirms that they expect people to grab food and go. And honestly -- I would. Not because it's bad to sit there -- it's fine. But this is the kind of meal that hits even better sitting somewhere by the ocean with the breeze. I'd definitely order takeout from here and eat outside by the water next time. I paid around $30, which is very fair for the quality, especially in California. They do ask about tip at checkout before you get your food -- that part always feels a bit weird to me, but I get it. Overall -- 5 stars for the food and the heart behind the place. I'll remember it. And I'll be back -- probably to pick up a to-go order and take it straight to the beach.
