BREEZY @ SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO The easy breezy with the pork sausage was super good! It did take awhile to get service but the food was a perfect fusion, I think the pancakes could be a little thicker for some people. The inside was super aesthetic for brunch and photos--overall 5/5

Decided to visit Breezy on a busy holiday, Mother's day. The ube french toast was amazing a must try. I have never experience french toast to be crispy & toasty in every bite after being smothered with so much toppings. This amount of french toast serve can definitely be shareable & it was worth the 30 minute wait for my food after being seated. The over easy eggs could have been left on the grill a bit longer as the whites were still raw inside. I am use to having my over easy eggs order with just my yolk watery. I did like that their "Easy Breezy" order comes with one stack of pancake, it makes it more ideal verses other chains that serve 3 stacks. My guava matcha was good, a new flavor combo I had never experience. I do love all the tropical flavor options they have for drinks. Anyhow, a busy holiday calls for long wait lines, which is understandable, however not to sure what their workflow was on the cooking department. It seems as though they were prioritizing their pick up orders over their dine in customers. While waiting for my food order it seemed to me that everyone except for one table was waiting for their food order, while pick up orders were popping out like hot cakes. The place is lovely and trendy, but for how busy it looked, they really should have added more tables instead of their mini lounge living room set up. Our waiter at the bar area was great & so friendly updating us on our order and being attentive with us. Everyone was working great as a team except for one lady that was just giving orders to staff to clean & do stuff when she could have done it herself, not much of a proactive team player & I did not appreciate the disgraceful look she gave me when I ask if bar seating had a wait line. Customers pay attention to staff members when we walk away after asking a simple question, there was no need for the facial expression. Clearly this staff member cannot deal working under pressure.

After having a lot of underwhelming food on our girls trip to this area, we were thrilled to stumble upon this restaurant. As a Filipino myself, I was especially happy! The owner, Jasmine, and her three children all provided very friendly and welcoming service. We even came back the next day for a second meal here, because we knew it would be delicious. The Ube French Toast and Ube Pancake are both so yummy and great items to share as a table. While I don't eat pork, my friends all raved about the Longanisa Breakfast and longanisa was indeed a staple in my house growing up. I got the Honey Basil Ribeye Bowl, which had garlic rice, a fried egg, ribeye, and a small side salad. The salad and pickled onions threw me off flavor-wise, but the ribeye sauce was delicious. The ribeye was a bit overcooked, but I'm sure they would have happily made me another bowl if I had said something. The service was just so exceptional that I didn't bother complaining. The inside of the restaurant is so cute and has a comfy lounge area with a decorative mural. The outside patio seating is a bit uncomfortable if you're wearing shorts or a dress as the chairs are hard and the pattern will dig into your skin, but it's still fine for dining outdoors when the weather's nice. They don't take reservations, but you can join their waitlist at the entrance upon arrival. Grab a yummy Ube Coffee while you wait! There's also plenty to see around the area if you just want to stroll while you wait.

This was such a cute find! I ordered the mushroom avocado toast and the mango matcha to pair and both were equally delicious. The mango puree was fresh and the proportion was perfect. I'd definitely come back to try other items on the menu. Also I'd recommend a reservation on weekends!

I went to Breezy on Monday and ordered a single pancake. The restaurant was busy, so I ended up waiting around 30 minutes for it. Honestly, I didn't even complain because I understand places get overwhelmed sometimes and I was trying to be patient about it. What surprised me was that a manager (or maybe another employee working the front) came over, asked to see my receipt, and voluntarily refunded me because of the long wait. I thought that was actually really nice customer service at the time. It made me feel like they cared and were trying to make things right without me even asking. But then today, Wednesday, I checked my Discover account and noticed the refund had disappeared/reversed. At this point, it's not even about the $5. I genuinely do not care about paying for the pancake. What bothers me is the principle of it. Don't offer a refund and make a customer feel appreciated if it's just going to get taken back later without any explanation. If the refund was temporary, accidental, or never actually processed correctly, then just communicate that. The frustrating part is being told one thing in person and then seeing something completely different happen afterward. It makes the gesture feel fake instead of genuine. Again, this is not me trying to complain over five dollars. I actually appreciated the kindness in the moment and probably would've left with a positive impression despite the long wait. But reversing the refund afterward completely changed how the experience felt. Customer service is about consistency and trust. If you promise something to a customer, even something small, you should follow through with it.

Such a cute place!! Must cuter than photos can justify. Food was also really great. Their adobo rice/ ribeye was good and veggies were fresh. Great seasoning and ube pancakes were delish. Coffee is the one thing they can work on, there wasn't enough espresso compared to milk but my server was able to accommodate and help with that. Really great service and cute place to go with the girls!

I LOVE this place!! Amazing service, nice outdoor patio that's dog friendly, but above all, the food!! This is the place you want to go for weekend brunch. Their specialty drinks are so good - highly recommend the BBL (banana) matcha. And the food is a mix between American breakfast and Hawaiian and I'm not sure what else. They also have mimosa flights that looked pretty good but I didn't try them. The best combination here is to split the ube French toast and the honey basil ribeye bowl. Perfect amount of sweet and savory. Seriously so good I will be back very soon!

This restaurant is such a cute place to have the perfect weekend breakfast or brunch. Located in San Juan Capistrano, Breezy serves up delicious breakfast cuisine with amazing drink pairings (especially for the matcha lovers out there). A common go to is the adobo breakfast burrito. The adobo is so tender and juicy. Love how there is garlic rice in the burrito too! We also ordered the easy breezy which is their take on a traditional American breakfast. And lastly you can't go wrong with their strawberry matcha latte. The strawberry foam on top is the perfect sweetness to complement the matcha. We were seated right away in a busy Sunday at the bar area, but they also have plenty of tables inside and on the patio if you don't mind waiting a bit. Parking is easy with multiple parking structures nearby. Overall, I would 100% recommend this cute family owned breakfast establishment to anyone visiting the area!

Food was fabulous! Great location next to the train station ample parking in the structure. It's so cute inside very instagramable :) We got the guava matcha , banana latte, pog juice, longaniza bowl, adobo burrito, ube pancakes and banana pancakes. Delicious!!!! Can't wait to comeback Thank you! And they have free WiFi!

    Breakfast Burrito

The Breakfast Burrito here is almost all rice. I actually love this burrito however the amount of rice in a $16 burrito is getting ridiculous. Today I went in and requested "light rice" and this is what I recieved. Seriously Breezy, Do better.

Love this little PINK place. My friend and I took the train from Anaheim to San Juan Capistrano to go visit the mission and eat here. Love that it is Filipino fusion. Service was great but we definitely felt rushed. I ordered the loco moco - loved the gravy and my friend had the omelette. To drink, I had the iced latte and she had the strawberry matcha. Will definitely come back to try the pancakes and french toast.

12/15/25 Excited to try this Filipino/Hawaiian joint in SJC
    Jennifer W.

12/15/25 Hawaiian/Filipino fusion joint in SKC serving up flavorful dishes, lattes & of course, loco moco. Service is friendly & efficient, chill island vibes/decor. Opted for the Easy Breezy: longanisa, fried eggs, garlic fried rice & upgraded it with ube pancake. Hubby went either pork adobo burrito. Portions were a bit small but sufficient. Both our dishes tasted pretty good. The longanisa was flavorful which paired well with vinegar & fried rice. Hubby loved the burrito, he said the sauce was really good. The drip coffee wrecked my stomach as it was way too sour (acidic, probably a medium roast). I informed the server (Peyton) & she offered a new cup/brew but by then it was too late coz my meal was already finished. I like to sip it while having my meal. I barely sipped it as it was too sour. Most establishments would remove it from the bill as courtesy but not this one. There's public (paid) parking across the street. This was a good visit

Do they serve any breakfast, gluten-free toast, waffles, pancakes or GF French toast?

There was a little bit of a line but line moved fast, waiting for the food is what takes the longest. After you order at the food counter, you wait for your number to be called. Once called, you get all your items and you can order drinks if you want to. We were hungry so we over ordered. This is what we had: 1. Pozole: the soup was so tasty! They provide you with a small container of dry red peppers and oregano. Use it. It gives a nice kick to the soup. The meat was tender and the homini perfectly cooked. The ratio of homini to meat was just right. 2. Pork tamal: the masa was not the best I've had but it was still tasty. I like my pork tamales to have chunks of meat but the one I got was more like a meat mush. 3. Lengua plate: delicious! Came with a side of rice and beans. 4. Cabeza tacos: needed a little salt but cabeza usually does. The meat was very good. Try them with the green salsa. 5. Carnitas tacos: if you like different textures, get it mixed (cuero included). The mix of different parts of the pig is a lot tastier than regular maciza meat. 6. Drinks: horchata and Jamaica. No package drinks here. Horchata tasted home made and Jamaica was solid. Two of the adults had regular coke from the soda fountain (nothing special). 7. Dessert: flan and arroz con leche. Both very delicious and not overly sweet. Desserts can be paid for in the bakery area so no wait here. Unfortunately, I have no pictures of any of the food we ordered. We were so hungry that we started eating right away. The best part of this place was the affordable prices. For everything we ordered we paid ~$70. Not bad considering we had a lot of food, drinks, and desserts. There's counter siting available inside and some tables outside. Bathroom is on premises but I didn't go in so I'm not sure how clean it was or if it was gender neutral.

The store is split between savory and sweet. I ordered a few tacos (carnitas, cabeza, and lengua). The full size tacos are quite large and filling. I have to remember to order the street taco version. The flavor is good and with the salsa it hits the spot. I also ordered the menudo to dip my tacos in. Paired the food with some horchata and agua fresca. The service can be a bit slow, maybe because it is usually busy. One thing to note is that you will need to order the drink with your savory order but pick up is on the other side with the sweets.

I especially enjoyed the Bicol express for a light spice matched with savory yet coconut flavors combining with the crispy crunch of the meat.
