I was looking for a GF & DF food gift for my daughter and her boyfriend and that website popped up. I wasn't sure if it was a legitimate website but after reading the reviews, we decided to place an order. We ordered The Diplomatic Box - Kyoto Edition which contained 2 Sakura Cherry Blossom Cookies, 2 Matcha White Chocolate Chip Cookies, 2 Signature Chocolate Chip Cookies, 2 Matcha Chocolate Swirl Marble Cakes & 2 The Diplomatic Brownies. We received an email 4 days after we placed our order letting us know that our order had shipped. They ship their packages via USPS and provided a tracking number which I had been following. USPS' website showed that my daughter was supposed to be receiving it 3 days after we received the email letting us know that the order had been shipped. The day came but my daughter never got her package. I checked the USPS website which showed that there had been a delay and it stayed that way for a couple of days. I reached out to Sweet Diplomacy advising what was going on and advising that I was concerned with the quality since by then had been 10 days since it has been shipped. I didn't know if it would be safe to consume if/when they finally received it. Sweet Diplomacy offered to send a replacement or a store credit. I chose the replacement which they said they would send. Well, a couple of days after that, I saw the original package had been delivered. I reached out to Sweet Diplomacy again to let them know that the original package was delivered and to find out the status of the new package. The replacement package was delivered the same day as the original one! I let my daughter know the tracking number of the original package to make sure she didn't eat them. My daughter was surprised that I found a sweets that were GF & DF. They loved the cookies and brownies. I'm really happy that this company did the right thing with the replacement. I would order from them again but I hope there are no delays with the USPS next time!
