They listed the price not including any dealer after market accessories to get you into the dealer ship then they show us it's an extra 2500 in after market accessories and claimed it was displayed on their website in the very very fine print. We walked out and left it for two weeks and then noticed that the price was lowered one thousand dollars, so we were messaging with the dealer and their response time was horrible so we drove down there for the price advertised on the website and once we were sat down with someone they say the price went up almost 3k over night because of " tariffs". We used to come to this Stadium Nissan dealership for over 10 years for servicing our SUVs (and preferred this location over some nearby dealership service centers). This location has recently gotten worse. The service advisors have now started UPSELLING the maintenance. Even though the vehicle is fine, they come up with pretty much everything that needs to be 'maintained'. One of my SUVs is a low mileage vehicle, and still 'Service Advisor David' came up with need to replace brake fluid, transfer case fluid, transmission fluid, injection service, decarbonization, etc. Easily added about 2K in 'recommendations' for what was to be a simple oil change for a well running vehicle. The dishonesty and stereotypical shady used car salesman tactics used by sales managers David and Mariela (apologize if I spelled this incorrectly) ensured they lost my business. I was in the market for a late model Suburban for my wife and noticed they had the best priced one around. I was in the area and wanted to take a look in person as the pictures on the website weren't very good. Upon arrival I noticed that on top of the advertised price, was $4k in dealer add-ons that they insisted were already installed (you can clearly see wheel locks were not installed, and I recognize the window tint as the factory GM tint that all suburban's come with). At this point all I wanted was the OTD price as I have a few that I am looking at, I told them I was not going to be buying the vehicle that day and would be looking at my options. This is when the sales manager David come out to try and close the deal and wouldn't give me the OTD price and was bragging about how they are the best priced. I informed him that with these mandatory add-ons they are now the highest priced in the area. He offered to waive the fee for all dealer add-ons to make the deal. I told him put the deal in writing and send it to me and we can talk in a few days. A few days go by and nothing, so at this point I'm sure that something is up. Nevertheless, I call them up and say I'm ready to make a deal and can be there within an hour if we can agree to a number. Keep in mind, since the last time we spoke they've already lowered their online price another $1k. After trying the typical, come in for another test drive and we'll talk, which I refused, he comes back and says the best price they can do is $62,995 OTD, $3k more then was promised. To make a long story short, after a bit more back and forth I informed them that I wouldn't do a deal out of principal because of their dishonest practices. I then drove down to Land Rover San Diego and paid the same price for the same vehicle with less miles, and in better condition. Now obviously I didn't lose money or anything with Stadium Nissan, but if you're looking for a headache free transparent experience with professional and honest staff, this is not the place. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. My sister bought her car here and deeply regrets it. A couple of weeks ago, we purchased a Nissan Sentra. After hours of negotiating the price, we left as we didnt agreed to anything. The next day or so, we called to confirm if they would honor the price and terms we agreed on, and they said YES. But when we got there, they RAISED the price. The sales rep, Sergio, claimed they couldn't offer what we had agreed upon. I already had my loan approved through my bank and specifically asked them not to run my credit again, as it wasn't necessary. THEY DID IT ANYWAY! After more than 4 hours, they finally lowered the price to the original amount, but when we signed the paperwork, we discovered they had removed services we originally agreed on without telling us and there was nothing to do since we signed and never thought they would remove services from the agreement. This was a terrible experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership--there are plenty of others that are more HONEST and customer-friendly. The customer service was poor during those conversations to begin with, but we took our chances. 1) Once we got here, the advertised price was not what they were actually selling the car for. 2) The car poor wheel alignment, one of the four wheels was of a different brand, unclean interiors, shoddy job of windshield replacement 3) They asked us to sign a document saying the car has so-and-so list of add-ons with a total that was more than what we agreed upon after the surprise forced add-ons We agreed to pay the additional cost over advertised price, but asked to purchase a certified warranty. So they took time to do the inspections. By the time car came back from the inspections, all 4 tires were changed to a no-name brand. First of all I just want to say that it was a great experience. I purchased a 2017 Pathfinder SV with 16,700 miles CERTIFIED for $20,997. The only thing you need to be aware is that they install a GPS tracker on ALL their vehicles in case your car gets stolen. That will set you back an additional fee of just over $1,500. Their low prices at this dealership pays for itself though and it usually cost a dealer $1,500 or more to certify a vehicle. My sales rep was Chrstopher Denis who was not a pushy salesrep and his boss the used car manager who was very straight forward and did not haggel us. Sorry forgot his name but ge was a good guy. I recommed that you work with Christopher as he is a very honest guy, he actually studied to be a minister and was an Army Veteran. I beleive it was a GREAT deal on the car and on the Certified Nissan's their power train warranty is BETTER than if you would have bought new since its 7 years and up to 100K miles of the odometer. Very unethical in my opinion. I wanted to buy one of their used vehicles at $7,500 and the sales manager came back with a total price of $11,500. I told him it was too high and he came back with $10,600 - still too high. When I asked him why the numbers were so high, he could not explain. Obviously they were trying to bury some additional profit in the deal and did not have the integrity to he honest. I dont have a problem with people making money but at least be honest about it. DONT GO FOR SERVICE HERE. I have been purchasing and servicing my vehicle at Stadium Nissan for the past 10 years. And unfortunately, the service department has plummeted in customer service. I took my Altima yesterday for an oil change and replacement of windshield wipers. Those were the only services that I asked for when I took the vehicle the ignition starter was already pushed into the upper left corner, but it was still drivable. I have attached pictures of how the vehicle was returned to me. I called the service department and indicated that I did not request a fix on the ignition starter because it was already damaged. I can clearly see that it was tampered with further, because that is not how I drove in with the vehicle. When I called in the afternoon and indicated to them that the starter was dangling and why the technician took it up upon himself to mess with it further. The service attendant, who helped me supposedly spoke to a manager, and said that they were not liable, because that is how the vehicle was left at the lot. I indicated to him that the starter button was at the upper left corner stuck, and if you would have pressed on it gently, it wouldn't have gotten pushed back all the way. Alex indicated that they had cameras on the outside of the lot and could show that the technician did not tamper with the starter. But I don't know how cameras on the outside of the dealership can verify what the technician did inside the car. I had to call AAA so they could help me place the starter back into place. Otherwise I would not been able to drive the vehicle out of my driveway. In conclusion, all of the past service technicians that have helped me throughout the years are obviously no longer working there and it shows. I recently visited Nissan Stadium to return my lease, and unfortunately, it was a wholly unpleasant experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, but what truly made the visit regrettable was the treatment I received from Mariela, the manager. Mariela was not only rude but also incredibly unhelpful. Despite my attempts to ask for assistance, she seemed disinterested and dismissive. I had an appointment at 9:30am, was there in time she told me we don't have anyone to help you because i was only returning my lease and not interested in buying a new car. It's disheartening to encounter such lack of professionalism, especially when dealing with something as significant as returning a lease. I had to go around and ask for help where i found it at the service department where the manager told me that I will call the guy who is supposed to come take care of you and he told me that he will be here in 7 minutes and i thanked him so much. The manager, Mariela she didn't tell me anything about this while she should as a manager. Overall, my visit left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would caution others against expecting any semblance of decent customer service at Nissan Stadium. "Service" department is a serious misnomer, and Angel and Alma at Stadium Nissan, in particular, have zero understanding of the concept. I brought my car, which was working perfectly fine, in for THREE recalls. I made an appointment and showed up 15 minutes early and got in line with my car where I sat for 45 minutes before being taken inside. I had previously inquired and was told it would take about 90 minutes to service my car. Angel informed me in line that it would be 5 to 6 hours because one of the recalls regularly fails and can take up to 3 attempts. I told him I would appreciate it if they could work as quickly as possible because I had an appointment in 5 hours. I pointed out that we were already 45 minutes behind through no fault of mine. He said he would see what he could do. He sent me a text that said: "Hi Diana, this is Angel at Stadium Nissan. If you need to reach me during your service, please reply to this text. Reply STOP if you do not wish to receive text messages." After leaving, I looked at the paperwork and saw that the most minor recall was listed twice and that the major recall wasn't on the list of work to be done. I texted him to let him know, and I asked him to let me know he'd received the text and confirm he would see to taking care of all three recalls. He never responded. I called in and spoke to a lovely young woman named Keisha, who assured me all three recalls were being tended to. 3 hours later, I sent a text asking if there was an update on when I could expect my car to be ready. No reply. I changed my other appointment. An hour later, I texted, "What was the point of giving me this number to text if you ignore them?" 15 minutes later, Angel called to tell me my car was ready. I went to pick up my car, got my keys, and left. Driving home a warning symbol I'd NEVER seen before came up on my dash. I got home and pulled into my driveway and got my book out to look up the symbol when my car started to idle weirdly, and it seemed like it might die, and then it flashed my battery light and the car died. I turned it back on, and it did it again. I called Stadium Nissan, and Angel picked up the phone and told him what had happened. His response was, "Hmmm," and he put me on hold. He came back and said the recall had nothing to do with the idle. It's funny because my car was running fine till I brought it there. He told me I could come back "if I wanted to." My car died again at a stop light on the way. When I got to Stadium Nissan, I told Angel I wanted help from someone else. Enter Alma. She asked me for my paperwork, and I walked back out to my car to look for it. When I came back, Angel and Alma had clearly spoken as she became condescending and blamed me for picking my car up early. Which I did not do. "So they called you and told you it was ready?" Yes. "Well, you told them it had to be ready at a specific time." No. I said I'd appreciate it if they could. Then she gave me the full lecture about how this was an update "like on a phone" and that it could fail multiple times. She tried to say it was MY fault they hadn't been able to complete it. I NEVER told them to not complete the recall. She told me it could take DAYS to complete the update properly. Perhaps they should put a recall on the update. She told me I could leave the car, but there was not even enough time before they would be closing according to what I'd already been told. I asked about a loaner. She told me I could PAY for a loaner. I pointed out it was THEIR issue that I had to bring it in, and their issue that it now was not working properly. She said, "I don't know what to tell you, we don't make the cars, we just service them." Ummm, what? Nissan doesn't make cars now? And by the way it's not service when you cause an issue with my vehicle that wasn't there before. Clearly, they don't stand behind their product or their service, and these two people had zero customer service skill. There was no point in continuing the conversation, so I left. I literally said a prayer my car would make it home, and I could find another Nissan dealership to actually HELP me in a real SERVICE department. Interestingly, when I drove away, the warning light disappeared, and the car didn't die again. The moral of the story? God is more reliable at caring for your car needs than Stadium Nissan's misnamed "Service" department. read more

I got my car towed there to get fixed and I ended up not going through with the service due to the fact that there was a chance that Nissan wasn't gonna cover the charges of my alternator getting fixed and immediately the customer service changed and they were no longer friendly.I ended up going there to pick up my car and try to install the battery so I can move it off the property and they came out and told me "no you can't do that get a tow truck and move it off the premises" they were extremely rude and not helpful one bit. Once the tow truck arrived there was a car parked in front of my vehicle preventing it from being towed and one of the workers had the keys in hand and kept watching and locking the car and not moving it. My family and I drove 1.5 hours one-way to see and possibly buy a certain vehicle we saw on their website back in December 2021. My experience there pretty fine overall; normal friendly dealer staff, they were very accommodating to my family and I, to be expected. The listed price for the vehicle we wanted was approximately $25,999 on their site. We arrived and let someone know we were here to see a particular used vehicle, a salesperson grabbed the key and took us over to the car to check it out. We then test drove the car to ensure the condition was up to par and all the necessary features were working as they should. The sales guy was cool but didn't know too much about that particular vehicle. Some questions he couldn't answer or was incorrect, for example: us-"does it have Apple CarPlay?" / him-"No" / it did have it) no big deal, I don't expect him to know all the cars in and out. Afterwards we went back into the showroom for a quick discussion on the vehicle history, some negotiations, and clarifications. Once we were good I verbally agreed to the listed purchase price and he got the financial advisor to start the loan paper work. I believed we were getting a good deal compared to other vehicles we were considering. We expected the paper work to go quickly since we were only there to see 1 car from the moment we walked through the door. We waited for the financial advisor draw up all the loan forms etc while trying to manage our kids' curiosity around the showroom (X-mas decorations everywhere). Paperwork took more time than expected but when ready I was called to review and sign the docs in a back office with him, so I left my fiancee with the kids while I completed the forms. We were becoming restless anticipating the long drive back, our kids were getting hungry and tired, so I'll be the 1st to admit I just hurried thru everything so we can get back on the road we were already there for 3+ hours there. After all paperwork completed and copies provided we took the key and got right on the road. After a long drive home and a night of sleep I woke up and decided to actually review the paperwork I had rushed thru and became shocked then furious. The amount I end up purchasing the vehicle for was WAY higher than I expected after taxes, fees, down payment, etc. about $30,000. Looking into everything I accepted I come to find out the car was laced with non-factory features added by the dealer and unavoidable with their used cars. Not one thing besides the paperwork itself indicated they were an added cost. They were always spoken about as if they were complimentary. Note: they discounted all their used vehicles about $5000. This just so happened be the exact same value added back to the cars in included features: $30K Car - $5K Discount = $25K Offer Price (+ $5K Hidden Permanent Features) = $30K Purchase Price Some of the features included were: exterior paint & window protection coating (NOT film), interior material protection supposedly to prevent staining/tearing, a hardwired GPS security tracker system, among other things. These aren't necessarily bad things to have but the fact that they are already included and no one mentions the added cost or that they can't be removed seems shady. The vehicle was being offered for much cheaper than it could have possibly sold for. In my particular circumstance I rushed for the sake of my family. Now I fully accept the responsibility for signing without a thorough review; it was a terrible decision but it was my mistake. Still their advertising tactics are misleading. I did call to speak to the financial advisor and let it be known how I felt about how it all went down to which he consistently responded that it was detailed in the paperwork I rushed. We could've have been considered an ideal dealership customer: ready and willing to buy a particular vehicle that day. Note: I don't think it's a bad dealership and I'm not saying there was malicious intent behind anything they did but the advertising just doesn't sit right with me. TL;DR: Normal dealership experience. No complaints about any of the staff members or experience besides the overall wait. Be sure to ignore their advertised incentives/discounts, the value of the discount is likely added back into the vehicle purchase price with dealer installed mandatory add-ons/features. The features are likely worth much less than they cost you out the door. Used cars are essentially an extremely attractive package deal with hidden added costs. read more
