#32 BBQ Chicken/Spring Roll Vermicelli Bowl

Hello & Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening To You That Reads My Review... This Place Deserves Many 5-star reviews. You'll notice all tables taken during the busy times of the day. So, Lunch and Dinner... i recommend going in between the 2 if you do not want to wait for a table. The Shrimp Pho And Combo Pho are my 2 favorite Pho Dishes... The Fried Rice is SO YUMMY! I swear they use a seasoned Wok to make this fried rice... I like that slightly Toasted flavor the fried rice gives on each bite. I've had the Ong Choi Dish... Super Good as Well.... This place does not cut corners with their broth. you can eat their Pho without putting any extra stuff in it... But, Why not... That's the best part about Pho... You can tailor it to your taste buds.

Local go to spot for Vietnamese food in Halawa. Loved to see the place was packed with friends and families of all sizes and ages. Attentive service and food comes out quickly.

Our new favorite Pho Spot! It's been on our weekly go to. Good size-clean restaurant, tables barely stay dirty for 2 minutes after a table leaves. Fast and friendly service. This place has all of my husband's favorites. The Pho is in point with their delicious beef broth and they also don't skimp on the meat. Another dish my husband enjoys here is their BBQ Chicken plate. And lastly, if you like avocados, you HAVE to get the Fresh Fruit Avocado Smoothie. The Strawberry Smoothie tastes pretty good, however, the Iced Coffee... I've had better.

Incredible pho spot right next to aloha stadium! Parking can be kind of a pain in there and spots are a little small but if you have the time and patience to wait, it's well worth it. My mom and I went on a weeknight before the dinner rush at 6 and so glad we did! It was still very busy but there was not a line. We took that as a good sign and I understand why! We both ordered vermicelli bowls and they don't take long at all. The staff is very efficient and fast! I got the pork bbq - LOTS of meat, tasted amazing, not overcooked at all. Noodles were nice and bouncy. Sauces were amazing, I always add a lot of chili oil and sriracha personally!! My mom ate all of her garlic shrimp and spring roll bowl- she was stuffed! The portions are huge. Everything was great. Come get your pho here and reasonable prices! It is chilly inside, but not too noisy. However, at Max capacity it is a little crowded.

Decent. Had the bbq mix plate which was fine. Wife had pork vermicelli - pork was tough and flavorless. Stir fried ong choy was not fresh. Stalks were quite tough.

Update. Came for the chicken salad which had a nice presentation. The chicken was dry and tough. Ordered the banana tapioca. First time I have it with crush peanuts. Love the texture with it. A bit sweet from what I am use too. Pros: Salad was large and enough for me. Tapioca with the peanuts was a new experience for me and a nice change to the texture of thr tapioca. Cons: The chicken in the salad was tough and dry. The tapioca was to much on the sweet side for me. Would I come back? Yes, but maybe ordered the dishes that why I like this place in the first place.

Dropped off my husband's car for safety check, we decided have lunch here. I love Pho and always look for good pho place and we've never been here yet. We came in just after 1:00p.m. and inside restaurant was pretty busy. We ordered Fried Spring Rolls and Pho (I chose combination pho steak on side small size and my husband's choice was Rare Steak & Beef Meatballs small size). Shortly, Fried Spring Rolls came. For the number of the spring rolls, and little tired sliced cucumber but fresh fried and good flavor. During eating Fried Spring Rolls, our Pho came. Soup is mild and good flavor and even small size, I was full. I was surprised many people come and go, both dine in and pick up. I'm happy to find another good pho restaurant in my neighborhood!

Very good quality Vietnamese food here. What makes this place so good is that they are generous with the vegetables and garnish plates, which is what makes the dish so amazing and complex. Service is quick and expedient.

Service was good! Was seated right away. Liked how they included jalepenos, most places you need to ask. Fried rice was alright, tasted a lot of the msg tho. Spring rolls were mainly pork and portion is a lot smaller than most places.

I haven't had pho in sometime, so when it was pau hana Friday I told my homie - Gary T. that I wanted to try this place at the Stadium Mall, called - Stadium Pho. What can I say about the restaurant? I must say the staff provided Great service, & the food was tasty! We had ordered the following items - 1. Summer Roller to share ($8.95) 2. BBQ Chicken Vermicelli plate ($15.95) 3. Large Chicken Pho ($15.95) I was the one who ordered the chicken pho. The restaurant provided a lot veggies (which I liked), and the noodles/shredded chicken portions were more than generous. Stadium Pho appears to have a great local following, as the restaurant was pretty packed for a Friday night. Luckily, there was more than enough seating within the restaurant to accommodate all the hungry folks. I found the restaurant to be spotless clean, and it had a nice homie feel, Looking for tasty Vietnamese grub? Give Stadium Pho at try!

Tried Stadium Pho in Salt Lake and overall, it was just okay. The pho was decent... classic pho. Nothing particularly special or memorable about the broth or flavors. The biggest letdown was the spring rolls. They tasted like they had been reheated, and had a rubbery texture. Definitely wouldn't order those again. Service was fine and the location is convenient, but food wise, it wasn't impressive. Ambiance is fine, nothing special. Glad they had lots of seating and good AC.

This is a spot I've been to before and one my family really likes whenever we're craving pho. It's always been solid in the past, and even my girlfriend's family knows about it and enjoys it, so we decided to come here for dinner. I ordered the BBQ pork vermicelli, and while I was eating it, everything tasted good. No complaints at all in terms of flavor. Unfortunately, the downside is that it ended up giving me food poisoning. That was a huge letdown for a place that's usually been reliable. Because of that experience, I don't think I'd want to go back again, even though it's been solid before. Just an unfortunate situation, but serving pork that's gone bad is not okay.

If you're lucky, you can snag a metered parking spot nearby. Pho Que Huong is super clean, and I love how they decorate for holidays. Family-owned, this local business is very welcoming. Plenty of tables. Clean restrooms for paying customers. The food and drink are made with utmost care. The produce is always fresh and clean. The pho broth is unmatched. Not too sweet, lovely and aromatic. Portions are generous for the price point. Vietnamese coffee is a must! Strong and sweet--yum! The spring rolls even taste "healthy" here in that they're not too oily, and made with fresh ingredients. The customer service is always on-point, whether eating in or taking out. Note: They do not offer XL size for takeout. I think it's sweet they don't advertise otherwise, since they don't have the proper containers for that amount of food. Your service is absolute garbage. This morning, I called to place an order. I initially tried using Vietnamese to order two PDBs, but the woman who answered couldn't understand me. I switched to English and asked for two "Pho Combinations." She understood that, took the order, and told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. I also wanted to order Quẩy, so I asked, "Can I get one Quẩy?" Again, she didn't understand. So I clarified in English: "Add one Chinese doughnut." Guess what her response was? She condescendingly told me, "This is a Vietnamese restaurant, not a Chinese restaurant." What the hell is your problem? On your very own menu, that item is literally listed as a "Chinese doughnut." As a server, you don't even know your own restaurant's menu, yet you have the audacity to respond to a customer with such an arrogant, rude, and racially discriminatory attitude. It's disgusting. Everyone knows you are a Vietnamese restaurant. But Quẩy is widely known as a Chinese doughnut, and that is exactly how it is written on your menu. Learn your own menu. To make matters worse, when I arrived 20 minutes later, the front desk told me my phone order hadn't even been made yet and that I had to wait. What on earth was the point of me calling ahead? It's a complete joke. If you are going to be this arrogant and rude, and if you hate Chinese culture so much, why is your restaurant located in Chinatown? Why don't you move to a Vietnamese neighborhood? This is Chinatown. This restaurant has incredibly low-quality staff and a glaring issue with discrimination. It is absurd that an employee can work here without even knowing the menu. To openly disrespect and discriminate against Chinese customers--when you are located in Chinatown and 80% of your repeat customers are Chinese--is pathetic. Take your business elsewhere.

I heard they will keep this space for special events. The restaurant is quite busy and I'm glad we had reservations. Good thing I was there prior to lunch hour opening, otherwise we may lose our reservations since the person who made reservations tends to be habitual in arriving late. We dined in May, but it's been awhile since I first dined here. I preferred dining in Chinatown during lunch time than at dinner. Our waiter was really nice and helpful. I forgot his name, but I remembered that his eyeglasses that he wore was cool/funny, since the frames for each eye didn't match the other eye! lol. Funny it wasn't me who first noticed it. One was square frame and the other was a round frame! The restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays except may write Happy Birthday in chocolate on the dessert plate that you purchase for the birthday person. Their desserts are unique and refreshing. I think there are some rotating desserts /flavors like their seasonal menu for their main menu. I guess you can always keep coming back without being bored of the menu! I was bummed to see a previous dish posted of a pasta that I wanted to try that wasn't on the current spring seasonal menu! When we dined for brunch over the weekend, I was able to get the Hainan chicken with the crispy roast pork combo. It was very filling , tasty and satisfying. I do love ginger sauce on the cold ginger chicken but sometimes the chicken is just okay. This Hainan chicken was really good and the chicken was really moist! I thought it was the best I've tried! It was good that I wanted to takeout one last time in August before they moved! No more the 50/50 combo with the crispy roast pork on the lunch menu during the weekday. It was on the spring menu. Of course it's best to eat it in the restaurant than for take out. Bathroom is a must for me when dining out and they had only one shared bathroom for everyone! There was a guy who tried to make several attempts but wasn't successful, since there was always someone in the restroom. I'm glad the waiter told me there was a bigger separate bathroom with several stalls for men and ladies upstairs. You go straight through the kitchen to catch the elevator and to another kitchen /storage area! Thank Goodness! Best wishes at your new location. You offer yummy and tasty food!

When we arrived, we were the first guests so got to pick our table. When we sat down at the pretty wooden booth, there was a happy hour menu on the table. What?!? And YAY!! There was a 2-for special on the cocktails and you could select from the full menu which featured an extravagant and eclectic selection. There were wine and beer specials too but we were here for the cocktails. From the happy hour menu, we ordered the vegan spring rolls, chicken wings, and the Bo Ne Steak--a Vietnamese breakfast with bone marrow, cubed steak, sunny side eggs and a baguette. I can vouch for the spring rolls, light and crunchy without being oily. I don't eat land animals but my friend said the wings were divine. And they give you gloves to eat them. So civilized (ha) and a nice touch! She loved the bone marrow and steak. There was so much food she didn't finish it so I took it home to the hubby who devoured it. No complaints and only smiles from him! I wanted to try a couple pescatarian dishes from the regular menu so ordered the lemongrass clams which was AH-mazing! Could have been my favorite dish of the night because the flavors were unexpected but undeniably good. And, the garlic salmon bun (vermicelli noodles) was fantastic. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was savory yet light. I've never seen this option at any other Vietnamese restaurant and it certainly elevates the traditional dish which usually comes with meat, tofu, or spring rolls. (You can still order the bun with these options and they let you choose your protein combos.) Finally, (I told you there was a lot of food) we ordered the banana blossom salad. I rarely see this offering at other Vietnamese restaurants. It's hard to describe but I refer to this dish as the red-carpet version of the green papaya salad. It's more dressed up and sophisticated. A real treat and a must-have if you're dining at An Di Dzo. Parking was easy since it's at Ward (by the theaters or you can park anywhere in the village). The restaurant is clean and modern. And the service was courteous and professional. Our server Alex was great and made the evening extra special. An Di Dzo is open for lunch and dinner. They have very trendy seating styles. We were seated in a wooden booth. The booth chairs were so far away from the table, there was no way you'd be able to eat without sitting on the edge of the bench haha. But very spacious for 4 people! The waitress was prompt with bringing our water, taking our order and bringing our food out. They have a little lazy-Susan style sauce/condiment platter on each table which was nice for the pho. The food was actually very tasty! I enjoyed everything I ate. Which kind of shocked me, being that town is more of a touristy area and I wasn't expecting to get decent pho! Since they're located in the same building as ward theaters, there's an entire parking structure for you to park in, for free! So don't worry about parking. If you're in the area, I'd suggest trying this place out!

Been wanting to try Vietnamese food that wasn't Pho or Bahn Mi…read more Got the beef salad and for someone who doesn't eat rabbit food, I gotta admit it was good. The dressing was really good. You already know the beef was good or it wouldn't get a good review from me. Got the spring rolls which was nice and hot. Wrapped the spring roll, noodles and the carrot & daikon with the lettuce and dipped it into the sauce. Winnahs. For the main entrees got the crispy fried noodles with seafood. It's like the Vietnamese version of Chinese seafood with cake noodles. Very crunchy and tasty. Lots of seafood. The other entree was the combo sizling plate. Yes, the plate was sizling. The plate had pate, sausage, meatball, beef and a fried egg. I've never tasted anything like that before. It's not the usual taste that you're accustomed to but i enjoyed it. I thought it was good. Both entrees and the salad are good serving size. I like the spring rolls and wish had more but that's just me. The service is excellent even though it was pretty busy. The waiter apologized for being late but it was quite understandable. He's so polite. The lady who might be the owner was very pleasant and personable. It was a very good experience. The only thing that might be a slight problem like any other restaurant on Kapahulu is parking.

This place has terrible service. I ordered a chicken salad and sandwich with soup, to go. My order…read moretook well over 20 min; as I waited there, multiple notification tones rang throughout the restaurant, it's annoying. When I placed my order, I told the woman, "no cilantro" on anything. When I received my order, the soup was missing. When the woman brought the soup, I said again, "no cilantro." She said, yes. I paid and left. When I got home, I opened the salad and noticed a pile of basil and what appeared to be cilantro. It tasted like cilantro, too. So, I went back to the restaurant to return my order, as I no longer wanted any of it. When I got there, the woman told me that isn't cilantro, it's "culantro." She said she would refund my salad, but not the sandwich and proceeded to argue with me that she was doing me a favor because the salad did not have cilantro, even though she very well knows they taste the same. In any case, I left my entire order and was only refunded for the salad. I will dispute with my cc company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
