Tried this place because my husband's co-worker recommended it. It wasn't half bad. It's located near the ice rink, and parking can be a little tough, but there are plenty of spaces a walk away. The establishment is pretty clean and located at the end of the shopping strip. Bathrooms are clean, but the toilet paper was not stocked (nbd). We ordered the medium-sized Rare Steak Pho and Salted Calamansi. The broth was great, still not AVF standards though. I did not enjoy the Salted Calamansi drink... Dear SC, It really isn't you, it's me. I think I'm just not accustomed to that taste. However, I really wanted to order a bubble drink, but our server was having a difficult time understanding my question of whether they used fresh fruit in their bubble smoothies, which is why I resorted to ordering that other drink. Ok so if you wake up in need of "recovery" this is a great place to go. They have a great selection of pho and sandwiches and bbq plates. The staff is very attentive, quick and efficient. The food is delicious regardless of what you order. I have eaten here several times and today was the only time I didn't enjoy my spring rolls (reason for missing star). Stadium Pho is take out only. You order, pay, and grab your food right at the door. I love that they make sure they add all the condiments. Some take out pho restaurants don't put in all the condiments and I hate that. Stadium Pho makes sure to put everything. I usually get the brisket. It's so good!! Heard this place is one of the cleanest Pho places in Oahu. So my family decided to stop by, yes I can say they are pretty clean. Once a table is gone, they immediately clean the table and it's so spotless. Tables are labeled by #'s so it's not confusing for the customers, along with the staff. There's a lot of parking, shared with a bunch of other restaurants. This Pho is across the parking lot of Camellia at the Stadium. Water is a plus, clean & very maintain in filling up water. Food is very delicious, especially their bale sandwich! It was sooo good! That's a must. Pho sizes are from medium, large and jumbo! Jumbo can feed at least 2-3 people. Been to this place about 4 times before giving it a review. And it's become one of my favorite places because of the spicy beef noodle soup (bun bo hue). This is actually one of the very few Vietnamese restaurants that has the spicy beef noodle soup. A lot of places has only the basics and traditional which is still good but this would be my top go to if I'm craving. Plus there pho broth is delicious as well. Also tried the beef salad which I enjoyed as it was my first time trying it. It seems to be a hype so I gave it a go. It has a good spice kick but not over powering in my opinion and my spicy tolerance went down. I love there peach tea. It literally has a peach wedge in it, duh! Lol. One thing I don't like is there ice. It's crushed so every time I sip through my straw, ice goes in. That's my only complaint as of now because I have sensitive teeth. Viet restaurant in a strip mall near the stadium, nice and clean but the food was aite. Pho - one of the worse pho I had. Doesn't taste authentic and can't taste the natural broth. Very heavy on MSG. I honestly took a bite and was like nah (thankfully mom was starving from Pearl Harbor so she ate it all lol) Beef stew - was somewhat decent with good flavors but the bread that came with it was barely toasted. Pricing was okay considering we were in Hawaii, but $3.50 for side of bread?!?? I thought Ba-le was bad but dang $8 for a viet sandwich?!?? Holy cow. WTF? I wish this place was a little closer to me. It's not that far, really. But my car hates driving toward the direction of West Oahu. I like it here. And apparently, a lot of others do too. The inside is pretty big but there is usually a wait to get a table. It's located in Stadium Mall on the end that's closer to the Goodyear Auto Service Center. The service is good and the menu and prices are typical of what you would expect to see. The Bun Bo Hue is probably my favorite thing on the soup menu. Why? Because the soup itself is flavorful and has a nice spicy kick to it. AND no coagulated pig's blood in it like a lot of other places do. Overall, I have never eaten anything here that I have been dissatisfied with. Which is why I'll wait in line to get in, or better yet, come for a late lunch when there is usually no line. read more

I picked up the BBQ chicken and spring rolls combo for lunch today. At $9.50 it was a little pricier than what I was used to, but when I left I noticed that my plate was a lot heavier than what I was used to as well. The hefty plate did not disappoint and was well worth the price. Everything was tasty. The service was quick and friendly. They even served me water as I waited for my plate. I've patronized this restaurant more than a handful of times and can't believe it took me this long to write a 5-Star review. It ALWAYS hits the spot! I'm not a big meat eater, so I usually order a medium bowl of Pho "plain" (no meat). So, broth with noodles and green onions is what's delivered. Then I'll add jalapeños, bean sprouts, basil & mint leaves, and a squeeze of lemon. Plus a squirt of Sriracha and Hoisin sauces. Mmm mm M!! For protein, I'll order a BBQ Chicken Sandwich. It is one of my FAVORITE sandwiches here on the island! The BBQ is made to perfection without it being too saucy and the chicken is tender. It's topped off with pickled carrots, onions, cucumbers and cilantro. The French bread ALWAYS tastes like it was freshly made and pulled right out of the oven. Lightly toasted and not thick and doughy where'd you'd have to bite it off like a mad dog. Nope. Not tough to eat at all. Two thumbs up! Five stars all the way! The entire staff works so hard. Whenever I land anywhere from a flight, I crave pho. The reviews were good so we decided to try it. There were a lot of military guys there, the place was packed! We got ourselves seats and ordered. The oxtail in the pho was very good, the broth was just so so, it was kind of sweet. The meats were ok. The spring rolls were hella small but you get like 9. We loved the ice but the lemonade had too much ice and not enough liquid. However this place got rid of the pho craving. read more

Not sure if there's a lot of pho places in Salt Lake area but came across this place when I was looking for something to eat before going to my part time job. Stadium Pho is located in the mall where Ice Palace is. Of course there's other places to eat such as Taco Bell and Jack in the Box, but Vietnamese seems a bit more healthier lol. I have yet to try their pho, but I ordered their tofu bahn mi which was pretty good. Not the best bahn mi I've had but it was flavorful. I also tried their vegetable spring rolls & grilled shrimp vermicelli. I love that they have a vegetarian option for spring rolls (not that I'm vegetarian but nice to have that option when you don't want meat). Price is reasonable and food is decent. There's only one other pho (pronounced "fuh") place that I know of in the Salt Lake area and that's the Pad Thai restaurant in the Salt Lake Shopping Center about 10 minutes down the road from Stadium Mall, where this place is located. Out of the two, I choose here for a bowl of pho. Why, you ask? Simply because 1) they have bigger portions for about the same price and give more meat; 2) they also have a variety of bubble tea drinks on the menu to complement said bowl of pho; and 3) the summer rolls are better here because you can actually see and taste the shrimp (the other place is packed mostly with carrots for some reason). Though, I must say both locations have excellent service. And, the peanut sauce at Pad Thai is better. The consistency of the sauce at Stadium Pho is too watery for my liking. But, overall, the peaceful and friendly atmosphere along with its flavorful pho, this place comes out on top! Note: The next nearest place to satisfy your craving for a savory bowl of pho is in the neighboring Aiea area at the Cuu Long restaurant located in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center across from the Pearlridge Mall (beware: broth is bland!) But, I love the stuffed calamari and the whole wrap your own summer rolls experience is fun, especially for people like me who have their own preference for doing things. read more

For me, this place is 3.5 star. I love the service and cleanliness here at this pho restaurant at stadium mall. It's located next to Good Year. The service was excellent and prompt. As for the pho, I ordered medium combo pho. Their sizes are medium, large, x-large. So medium is actually small. So I don't know why they don't say small. Is it because medium is too big to be called small or small is too big for medium? As for the taste, the broth was on the sweeter side which I don't care for. I personally like clear but somewhat rich flavor broth. But I also know this is as good as it gets outside of town. Again, servers were really nice and prompt. read more

Didn't end of eating at Camellias so it was my first time here and food was good. I started my order with their chicken wings and that was great and then I ordered their #32 which was filling... It did take some time until we received our food and it wasn't as busy. We did have a party of 4 and ordered some appetizers so I was guessing that's why our food took some time. Service was okay, not as personable but it was okay. We waited for a while to receive our check and from a far they asked if we needed water refills. The guys that I was with said their food was good but could have been bigger portions for the price that we were paying. My second time here. First time was during pandemic. I had a lemon grass chicken bánh mì it was okay. Second time here having lunch with my mother, dining in reopened. Mom ordered lemon grass chicken plate and I ordered lemon grass beef plate. Both of our food were served old like it was left overs from the day before. The rice was old and there was clumps of hard old rice, first time I ever got served old rice, usually the jasmine rice is fresh and really good, our lemon grass chicken and beef was old also the onions tasted spoiled. It sucks because their sauce is actually good but they served us old food. We didn't finish our food. I noticed everyone around me ordered phở so I assume the phở here is popular. Be sure to request for fresh food! I wish we told them our food was bad. Delicious Pho!!! When I don't feel good, we eat pho. When it's cold and rainy, I eat pho. When I don't wanna cook, we eat pho. This place is such a convenience. It's a block away, and they're super fast preparing the order. When doing take out, they only do large pho. Very rarely do I finish my pho in one sitting. I get the beef brisket with rare steak. It comes with bean sprouts, lemon wedge, basil and jalapeños. Their both is flavorful, but I always add the spices they give (hoisin, chili oil and sriracha type sauce). Oh and their Thai tea is a must when doing pho! I also order their summer roll but omit the basil (or mint. I forget what they put). They are open during the shutdown! Go get your pho fix. read more

This place doesn't have my favorite pho, I don't find the broth super flavorful but what makes me happy to come back here is the amazing customer service which is a rare find in fast Asian restaurants. We are always attended too and our water cups are always filled. I think they make great vermicelli noodle salad and topped off with crispy egg roll is the best. After my favorite pho spot got taken over by a new owner, the pho has not been the same... they just don't have the same touch as the previous phenomena of vietnamese miracle-in-a-bowl they once boasted. SO, the hubby and i have been searching for a replacement.... which brought us to Stadium Pho. The reviews were pretty good but what caught our attention was that nearly everyone said that the customer service was golden... and so it was :-). Pho is such a tricky thing... you have to have the robust flavor packed into that cooked-for-so-many-hours clear broth with the right cuts of meat and the fresh veggies with the right amount of noodles and the right amount of 'perfume' to the broth... it's difficult!! However, i must say that Stadium Pho, while not the best I've ever had, did NOT disappoint!! The broth was good, the medium sized bowl option was the perfect portion for me and our guests. The meat was cut and selected mindfully and there were no qualms made when i asked for extra lemon and came in unannounced with a party of 6 at peak dinner hour. The service was excellent. Each person that came around to check on us was friendly and accommodating. 5 stars for service for sure!! My only complaints are the parking and that i would have enjoyed more broth than the heavy-laden bowl of noodles. I had to remove about a third of my noodles before i could stir the meat and veggies in. It was noodle overload. I think some people might actually enjoy that, and it certainly wasn't a dealbreaker for me in returning. Parking can *really* suck at stadium mall. They have more busy businesses than parking stalls. You have Ice Palace, pizza hut, Jamba Juice, Korean bbq, massage parlors, Chinese restaurant, a couple of bars-- it's crowded!! If you're on the lookout for a pretty good pho place with excellent service and good pho and spring rolls- don't hesitate to give this place a shot. Who knows? Spent time with my brother today and he eats at Stadium Pho ALL THE TIME! So of course... this is where we ate today! We went before the dinner rush around 5pm and got seated right away. We ordered spring rolls and pho. The spring rolls were good and came out quickly. Service was on point for sure. For the pho... The broth. Always try the broth before adding anything to your pho. The broth was so good I didn't want to add chili oil... but I do like a little spice! Definitely plan on coming back to try the Vermicelli and Spring Rolls!
