I came to Stage a long time ago before COVID, and it was a very memorable experience. Tonight my family and I decided we go back to stage to, "celebrate" a farewell to one our siblings leaving for the mainland. ***This is what we ordered **Appetizers *Mentaiko Bread Sticks (10/10) They gave us these mentaiko bread sticks for free! It came with this white sauce and was topped with cherry tomatos! It tasted really good! I wish I knew what kind of sauce it was. *Ahi dynamite (10/10) This was the perfect appetizer! It came with island ahi sashimi and it was dressed with togarashi mayo, kabayaki, tobiko, radish, and bubu arare!! Super light and the flavors blended perfectly! It left me wanting more! *Torched hamakua ali'i mushroom (10/10) Very aesthetic plating for this salad! At first I thought it was just going to taste like dirt, because the mushroom salads I've had before at other restaurants would normally taste gross, but this changed my mind!! This dish came with Spanish onion, goat cheese, soy reduction, crispy garlic, and arugula. If you were to eat everything together it would make this perfect harmony of flavors in your mouth! This dish did not taste earthy either! **Palate cleanser before the Entrée *Blood Orange sorbet (10/10) This Palate cleanser was REALLY GOOD. I forgot the other flavors they added to the sorbet, but I know blood orange was one of the main flavors. I loved how after eating this I didn't have this onion aftertaste in mouth from the salad. So it was perfect to have before moving onto the Entrée! **My Entrée *BBQ spiced kurobuta pork chop (11/10) This was probably by far the best pork chop I've ever had! This pork chop was dressed with a pumpkin puree, mustard, brussels sprouts, and dijon cream! The pork chop was SO juicy! And if you eat the pork chop with the pumpkin purée it tops it off perfectly!! Honestly, if you are like me, I normally eat meat with something starchy or with rice, but the pumpkin purée was a perfect fit as it was filling after every bite! **Dessert *Frozen kona geisha coffee pie (11/10) This coffee pie WAS SO GOOD. Words cannot express how much I indulged myself with this. I normally don't eat sweets, but like I said this was AMAZING. You just have to try it for yourself! But if you are wondering this dish has a chocolate crust, manjari chocolate crunch, burnt hazelnut custard, vanilla bean whipped cream, and nutella powder! *Lilikoi creamsicle (10/10) This was VERY GOOD as well! The presentation of this dish had Lilikoi sorbet sitting on vanilla ice cream so it looked like a small creamsicle! At first you may think that it's a weird combination of flavors, but it paired perfectly together! *Warm dutch apple banana (8/10) This dessert came with a cinnamon oatmeal crumble, horchata ice cream, and applewood smoked caramel sauce! I wasn't a big fan of this, because personally I don't really like an apple pie, but my family thought otherwise! Overall, WONDERFUL experience. If you plan on dining here food will take time for it to come out, since they want you to enjoy each and every course for what it is. Staff was super friendly and attentive. I gave this restaurant a chance over the last 8 months and the service and quality of the food has been great up until tonight. I usually sit at the bar since it's only me dining. I go there so frequent that the servers know me and I tip them well. Their last seating is at 9pm since they close at 10p. I literally was 3 minutes after 9pm when I walked up to the front. The host said it was after the last seating time and he couldn't seat me. I asked him if he could check with the manager and make an exception since I was only a few minutes late and I am a regular there. He checked and came back and said he couldn't do anything. I get it. Establishments have rules for a reason. What makes a business rise above the rest and gain customer loyalty is when they make exceptions to the rule especially when it will create an extraordinary customer experience. This is especially true in an industry with heavy competition and slim margins. To me, service is just as important, if not more than the quality of the food. They just lost my business tonight and probably a lot more since I will tell this story to many. read more

This place surprised me. After a few days of eating pre fixe dinners at other restaurants I wasn't impressed with the food . This restaurant , by far ,hands down was the best. The ambiance was exquisite and it was the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. I really liked the loveseats which seats two people. A perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or anniversary! For drinks we opted to go with the " I only drink reds " flight. For $35 it was such a steal for 3 different bold red wines. Really loved that the selections had the full bodied flavors. The starter dish was so good! The toast had a creamy sauce on top paired with a spoonful of salmon and the sweetness of the tomato. It paired wonderfully. For the appetizers we ordered: Beet salad : Super refreshing and light ! Goat cheese and beets go excellent together 5/5 Salmon tataki : Torched salmon , tobiko, radish & soy vinaigrette. Another light and flavorful appetizer. Torched mushroom: This dish was phenomenal. I loved how they paired the mushrooms with goat cheese , truffle , and chili purée . It added a different dimension of flavor that toned down the truffles. 5/5 For our main entrees: Beef Wellington : The beef was super tender and nicely seasoned. It was perfectly cooked to a medium rare.It was my first time trying this dish and I would have to say it was executed well ! The mushrooms on the side was also really good 5/5 Duck special : The duck was super succulent and the squash purée was excellent. Would've never thought of pairing that together but it worked beautifully. 5/5 For dessert: Chocolate Haupia icecream cake: I was a bit bummed they didn't have the ube icecream cake. Opted for this instead. The icecream was interesting. The texture was thick and creamy like a regular icecream . It was more sorbet like but it tasted super light . I love the cookie butter powder and the chocolate crisp . 5/5 They also gave us an anniversary cake which was soo good and light! It tasted like a mocha cake. Incredible dining experience on New Years Eve. From easy parking and stylish venue to amazing food and exceptional service - hands down, one of the best dinners I had in a long time. Every single meal of the five course menu was beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. All the wine pairings were spot on and greatly complemented our meals. In addition, we had a great city view and felt very private in our unique tropical booth. Last but not least, our waiter Stuart was awesome and there are very very few people in the profession like him. He'd got a trove of knowledge about food and wine and we enjoyed hearing his stories. Our world food tour continued at The Stage on the 2ndfloor of the Honolulu Design Center. Wow, I hadn't been here since it opened and the décor is much nicer; less eclectic but classier, more tasteful than the stark black and white of the original. There were so many design elements to look at ... we loved the décor! It took a while but, with the help of our waiter, we ordered a 2015 Clos des Cornieres from Santenay; about three miles southwest of Puligny-Montrachet. A pinot noir, it was ruby colored with hints of licorice. It opened up after an hour into a very drinkable wine. We were served a starter in a spoon; it was half a cherry tomato with I can't describe what was atop; whatever it was, it was very tasty and refreshing. It was served with a rectangle of bread with three dollops of something else I can't describe. We ordered the Salmon Tataki and the Escargot to start. The salmon was beautiful; decorated with ikura and microgreens. The escargot was served on a platter atop a cauliflower cream and a green reduction of unknown origin. It was served with a large portion of a sliced, but still whole, baguette. We were served an amuse bouche; similar to green tea ice cream; it was a perfect cleanser. Our entrees were the Duck Breast and the Beef Wellington. I always try the Beef Wellington if I see it on the menu because I have made it for dinner parties and understand how complex the dish is and its preparation time. The duck was served as four inch thick pieces atop a kabocha puree with pieces of asparagus and a demi glace sauce. The Wellington was served cut in half with mushrooms and asparagus and a demi glace sauce. The skin of the duck was a little tough but everything else was great. The Wellington was perfectly cooked but I wanted a touch more duxelles and slightly flakier puff pastry. We split a Kona Coffee Pie; it's a good thing we did because there was way too much for us to consume. It was so delicious but very rich. I had a cup of coffee, served in a Frieling French Press. I needed more grounds because it came out too light for my taste. In summary, the décor and the ambiance is great; the food is very good, the service was excellent and I was surprised at the bill ... I've spent much more and have received much less than our time at The Stage. We loved it! read more

I took the family to my favorite place stage. Unbeknown to us the menu had changed completely. My gosh the favorite menu is changed a completely pupu style eating which was very disappointing. Before this visit, stage was my favorite place for fine dining. Whenever decided to change the menu had made a major mistake. In addition the service was very slow. We both order own kind but we didn't expect that come with all 3 glass of wine each person lol not bad at all for $25 each For food we've order Caesar salad, Chip&Fish, Big glory bay Salmon and New york steak. All the food was great! Only the Salmon is alright. After that we order house made Ice-cream for sharing and they gave us a Lilikoi cake with happy birthday word & candle to my husband for free! Thank you so much. The service was really nice! They only have a few server but they're still doing them job very well. We had a very nice New Year's Eve dinner at Stage Restaurant. I've only eaten at the restaurant once about 15 years ago for a vendor sponsored meal that I recall being just okay. This New Year's Eve, the 4 course prix fixe dinner with optional wine pairing, was excellent! The pairing was well crafted with 3 French wines and a tasty Champagne, which surprisingly, paired very well with the third course, the Surf and Turf. The service was terrific. From the hostess seating us, to our friendly and well versed with the food and pairing server, to the runner presenting each dish, they didn't skip a beat. The friendly bar tender mixed a solid Old Fashioned, twice for me and my wife went with the pairing. Important aspects which made the meal great, every dish was cooked to perfection and nothing was over seasoned. It's impressive to have several dishes that require such attention to not be overcooked and everything turn out perfect! After a tasting of Island Ahi Sahimi served on a cold spoon with wasabi crème and tobiko, the four course meal began.;) The seared Hokkaido scallops were large and seared perfectly. They were served with a corn and caviar butter sauce and a sprinkle of chili oil. Our 2 1/2 yo couldn't get enough of them because I wasn't giving mine up easily. The domaine huet vouvray from Loire Valley paired perfectly with the scallops. Second course was Big Glory Bay Salmon two ways. Crispy skin and tarragon crème tartar both were excellent and perfectly crisped skin yet moist and tender salmon inside, not easily accomplished. I couldn't resist several sips of my wife's 2018 premier cru Burgundy. It was nice to experience how an exquisite red can pair so beautifully with the salmon in both its forms. Third course was the Surf & Turf. Again, both the tenderloin and the tristan lobster tail were prepared perfectly. You'll have to zoom in on the pictured menu for the delicious description and the creative fourth course dessert. What a cute amazing restaurant above Inspiration. We had dinner before the Carrie Underwood concert and our waitress was very accommodating knowing we had to leave by a certain time. We ordered a bunch of things to try (pictures included) and everything was delicious. The garlic loaf was so soft and cheesey. The Beef Wellington was special and the meat was tender and juicy while the puff pastry was perfect. I would highly recommend this place. We sat at the little love seat facing the intersection and it was just nice and intimate. The pianist was also entertaining mixing pop culture music with Disney. This is a very beautiful restaurant. Very elegant. It has a bit hard to find as it is a hidden in a furniture store also called Stage. It also ha a wine bar, that I didn't get a chance to check out. The food was good. This place says it's family style, I would say that it's more tapas as the servings are a bit small to be considered family style in my opinion. When I think of a family style restaurant, I think if there's enough serving for a family of four to get a good amount of food from one serving. We ended up ordering 2 appetizers, "3 main dishes" and 3 desserts and that was just enough to fill us up. It is a bit pricey. But if you are look g for a place with a good vibe I would definitely recommend this place. However, for a sufficient amount of serving and perhaps cost, I may consider somewhere else. We had reservations for an early dinner and our group was able to be seated right away. The ambience at Stage is chic and elegant, but not in a stuffy way. Our server was accommodating with requests for different dietary options for all courses, even swapping out the amuse bouche with vegan items. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Though I didn't imbibe, there were plenty of wine choices and craft cocktails to pair with dinner. If it's available on the menu, make room for the vegan ube cake and ice cream. Came here for my engagement dinner. The interior is absolutely amazing. The furnitures for each table is unique and modern and pieces of art. Very decorative light fixtures and environment. Felt like I was in a modern art museum Food was amazing. We got pretty much everything on the menu and my favorites were the mussels and beef wellington. They have an adjoining wine bar where you have a card and can place credits on it. You can get a wine pour for $1-5 so a little money goes a long ways in trying all the different wines The main entrance is kind of hard to find. It was not as good as our previous experience. It is a beautiful elegant room. There was a pianist playing softly that contributed to the ambiance. We had reservations and when we were shown to our table we were given probably the worst table in the restaurant right outside the kitchen so we had servers walking by our table all evening. They no longer provide dinner rolls and the little extras they used to provide between courses are no longer given. We both ordered a glass of wine to have with dinner. Red wine for my husband and white wine for myself. When my wine was given to me it was at room temperature. What? One would think that a restaurant that prides itself on the wine bar would know not to serve white wine at room temperature. The food itself was very good. We shared an order of escargot in a garlic herb butter with lovely parmesan crisps and a baguette. It was scrumptious. For entrees I had the grilled angus new York steak with truffled mushroom medley and crisp garlic and my husband had the special of the day - salmon with butternut squash and other accoutrements. My steak was perfectly cooked, tender and so tasty with the sauce. My husband's salmon was very good but the portion size left a lot to be desired. At the most there was probably 6 oz. of salmon. He had quite a bit of my steak. We finished with the lilikoi creamsicle for dessert. This was a lovely dessert. The room is beautiful. I do wish that we were given a better seat as the restaurant was not full and there was better seating available. The service while good was not up to the level of service that we had on a previous visit. They have removed a few extras that used to be provided that used to add to feeling that your business was appreciated. The serving size of my husband's salmon was truly disappointing. Prices are on the high side and therefore expectations are higher. Stage did not perform as well as it did on our previous visit. read more

The bar selection seamed limited...but of course, the wine by the ounce selection is awesome! Food was tasty but cold. I had the by steak; the others who ordered it said the same thing. We had a free night (from the kids) on a random Thursday and decided to use a gift card we had received from the pre kids era. Arrived at 8pm to find the wine bar empty, and the restaurant decidedly winding down. We were quickly seated and provided with the drink and dinner menu. The setting is dark, and the seating gave off southeast asian vibes. The set up provides a lot of privacy, but the bench seats were too soft for my taste, and it felt like I was leaning forward the entire dinner. My husband ordered the dolce vita tasting paired with the butterfish, while I ordered a glass of the Malbec to go with the duck breast. We added on a Caesar to start, and it was great. While it wasn't a table side presentation, the dressing had a unique flavor, less garlicky than expected, and not too salty. Honestly we were impressed by the quality of the food, and service. The duck breast was tender, moist, and went well with the brussel sprouts and butternut squash. For dessert we ordered the lilikoi sorbet with vanilla bean ice cream on shortbread. The lilikoi sorbet was a little sour for my taste, but my husband really enjoyed it. The serving was huge, so I was happy to share. Bf and I thought the 2 sauces were of sweet element and with the pork chop also with a sweet element that it could've used more of a Savory sauce. - NY strip loin, I normally get ribeyes so I know this wasn't going to be as tender. The sauce was good with the mushrooms but some parts of the steak to me were not a medium-rare. Desserts: - warm Dutch apple banana, enjoyed it especially with the horchata ice cream. - chocolate haupia ice cream pie, good and we really liked the chocolate brittle? - free cheesecake, sisters bday so they brought out a beautiful plate for it. Recently went to Stage for date night on a Wednesday. Great location for a date night! It was a great experience all around. The restaurant is on the second level on Inspiration, which is a furniture store. Parking is free, which is a nice added bonus. When you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the hostess in this cool wicker art piece in the shape of an elephant, which brought a smile to my face. I thought it was super cool. Then you walk through Amuse Wine Bar which looks fun, but more casual. I would maybe meet coworkers there after work or have a girls' night. Anyways, the hostess walked us through Amuse Wine Bar and then took us to our table, facing the view of Piikoi St. We sat at our table, which was very low to the ground at first. I was a little worried about how it might be awkward trying to eat. No need to worry tho because the hostess was able to adjust the table height, another cool feature. I was impressed. When you look up the light fixtures look like fluffy, pillowy clouds. I have never walked into a restaurant that excited me visually and artistically and I'm just talking about the decor. The food was great as well. My boyfriend ordered the NY steak. I ordered the miso butterfish. I only had a couple issues. Mushrooms seem to be in many of the entrees dishes, which are not a favorite of my boyfriend's. Also, the corn kernels on my dish, were cut too close to the core so they were a little tough to eat. My wife took me to this amazing establishment called Stage. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere!! We reserved a little table in a tiny "cabana" that provided a semi-private space for my wife and I. We both ordered the dinner specials. She had a seared scallop and shrimp entree and I had a Beef Wellington with asparagus and truffles. Amazing!!! We also started our experience with the dessert special. (Yes, my wife and I sometimes work backwards through the menu) which was a smore themed sorbet. Simply sinful!! My wife also ordered the drink special which was called strawberry pie. To cap the evening off I was served a very artistic haupia sorbet decorated with Happy Birthday and a candle. I did not have the best experience here. We made a reservation and got seated shortly after checking in. It was nice that we were able to get a more private section since there weren't too many other parties that night. We ordered shortly after being seated, but it took about 40-50 minutes to get our food. Considering that it wasn't crowded, I thought that was ridiculous. The food had good flavor, but the portions were tiny for the amount we were paying. We left unsatisfied and went out for more food after. The waitstaff were all very nice, but it just took way too long for our food. Despite my experience, the restaurant was decorated very nicely and I liked the furniture style. WOW. WOW. WOW. What a spectacular experience. We happened to book on the night where they had a wine and food tasting menu. The minute you walk in your mouth drops from all of the stunning decor. Details and beauty everywhere you looked. Service was on point - was never without food or drinks. So for the tasting menu we had for the First Course: shrimp salad, Niçoise salad and artichoke bruschetta. Those courses alone we were stuffed but we persevered. Second course was sous da vie Pork Loin, lamp chops and grilled chicken with bacon and spinach. The meat in all the dishes were so tender. And the final course - dessert! Sand in the clams, overall food was eh, nothing crazy, would've been happier going to zippys and getting the Korean chicken. Service was eh to, bare minimum, even when only one other party of 2 was there. Pianist was nice, but a bit much. The free parking was best part. I probably spent my entire life searching for a restaurant I can call my favorite and tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that Stage (& Amuse) wins that award. It was definitely love at first sight! Stage doesn't have HH, but Amuse does and you can take advantage of the discounted wine, just let your server know. I've never tried escargot and neither did Yelp BFF, so we said let's do it! After trying about 7 different wines at Amuse, we sat back down and she brought us a small plate of bread, flavored butter, and tomato soup on a spoon. After we were done, the server brought a raspberry sorbet palette cleanser. I got the king salmon dish with butternut puree and various veggies on top. BFF ordered the beef Wellington (medium rare, of course). Both were great, but if I wasn't dieting, I would've had the Wellington too ... For dessert, we got the pink one (I forgot what it's called). And my oh my when the plate came out, you should've seen my face! I was as happy as a kid in a candy store. I love dessert, I have a major sweet tooth. The server brought out a platter with multitude of things on there ... a guava mirror cake topped with ruby chocolate and cacao nibs, a gelee with sorbet and more cacao nibs, with fruits on the side. Not gonna lie, I would've licked the plate clean if I was eating this at home. I thought we were done after the dessert 'platter' AND THEN the server brings out 2 pieces of chocolate compliments of the pastry chef. My heart sang like angels just descended. I wanted to give everyone a hug. It's impossible to leave this place unhappy. I've been to a lot of smanshy-fancy places and the service is nowhere near as amazing as it is at Stage. The staff was extremely attentive. I don't think my water glass ever reached less than half full. And they meticulously study the menu and double checked with food allergies (which I truly appreciate). I promise to make more money, so I can visit and enjoy your food more often. Stage is one of our favorite places for date night. Yes, it might seem unusual that there is a restaurant in a furniture store, but you don't even notice except when you enter/exit. Great ambiance, good food, and amazing service. Pre-dinner, they always offer an amuse bouche that changes often. I've never had any that we're not tasty. My husband normally gets the Beef Wellington (not too many places on island that serve it) while I normally get some kind of fish, usually salmon. Make sure you save room for dessert! They're normally pretty large so one is great to share. We usually end with some Illy French press decaf coffee. I finally got the chance to try this place for a celebratory dinner and had received a gift card that practically covered my entire bill. So my husband and I went ahead and tried almost everything on their (limited) dinner menu! Here is how our entire night went: I took in many considerations to make sure my husband and I's dinner felt safe as it was our first time eating out since the pandemic started. This place only accepts reservations, which I appreciate because it gives the staff ample time to clean and control the amount of people in the restaurant. We came a little early because we wanted to check out some of the furniture before the store itself closed. I have been to the store before so we didn't get lost trying to find it. We checked in early, but our table wasn't ready yet. The host was very polite and accommodated us anyways. He had us seated near the entrance in the Amuse Wine Bar and gave us Amuse's appetizer/drink menu to get us started while we wait. The drink we ordered were the château les trois croix and a freaky tiki. The Bordeaux was a great complement to many of the dishes that had cheese in them. The freaky tiki made me a lil.. "freaky" more so because my alcohol tolerance is very miniscule. I was expecting it to be more tropical or at least citrusy but I was wrong. If you're looking for something that tastes like juice, this ain't it lol. The appetizers were delicious as much as they looked. Fresh, crisp in flavor, not at all heavy/decadent. We had the torched hamakua ali'i mushroom, roasted beets, and the ahi dynamite. You can taste the earthiness of the vegetables, which I think adds depth to the dishes as well as highlight the rawness of the ingredients itself. Our table was finally ready. I requested to be seated near the window when making the reservation. Very romantic, surrounded by artificial cloud fixtures above us with an elevated view of the street. I would say it really set the tone for our dinner. Our seat had some stains from previous dinners, a good deep clean would do the trick, but I tried not to get phased by it. After the appetizers, we received 2 pandesals made in-house paired with coconut butter and cherry tomatoes. Bruh that coconut butterrr. Never had anything like it. The Filipino in me was like yaasss and may attempt to make it later hehehe. Afterwards, we were each given a ball of lilikoi sorbet. So refreshing. We enjoyed those. It was a nice way to cleanse our palate before our entrees. At this point, I'm honestly baffled by how much care and great service we received. The entrees we ordered were the bbq spiced kurobota pork chops and the New York strip loin. In general, the entrees tend to be more heavier than the appetizers. With that in mind, the pork chop was our fave. The tanginess of the whole grain mustard saved the dish because we were getting a bit lethargic with the food we already had so far. It cut through the flavors to make it less heavy and was a great balance. We powered through our steak but we still enjoyed it. We wanted it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Already small kine regretting the amount of food we ordered, we got dessert hehe. This I don't regret. We got the warm dutch apple banana. Oh so yummy, so homey, so comforting. From the warmth of the banana, to the cinnamon crumble mixed in with the horchata ice cream; it was divine. We should have ordered one more scoop of ice cream since my husband and I were sharing but it was still great. I think I would've appreciated this dessert more if it was winter time and not the middle of summer; it gave me holiday vibes. Maybe next time? Our dinner came to a close and we were just about done. But then we received a complimentary dessert. How nice of the staff to do so, making this dinner much more special! We were given each a mango macaron. No cracks, even rounds, and good filling-to-cookie ratio. I usually don't like mango in general but the flavor was subtle yet tasty. From the food, down to the service and space, I'd say it was a successful dinner. If you're wanting to come here, please plan ahead. They're located in the Honolulu Design Center (Inspiration Interiors) on Kapiolani Boulevard on the 2nd floor where the Natuzzi furniture are located. Make a reservation since they can book fast. Popular times that usually get reserved first is around 7PM. I would say reserve 1-2 weeks beforehand if you have a desired time. If you come in earlier, they may not seat your right away and will probably have you get started in the bar area (Amuse Wine Bar). If you're on a date and want to impress them, in your reservation, ask for the window seating. Just do it lol. Trust me ;) Overall dinner was pleasant. Most of my Yelp reviews covering fancy restaurants in town are usually like a death's head at a feast. I can be a killjoy for anyone searching for a good review of a high-end restaurant, especially in Waikiki! Simply put, a lot of the fine dining establishments I've tried are not worth the price. This is not the case with Stage Restaurant. I went there for my birthday dinner and it will go down as one of the most memorable dining experiences of the year. Everything from the service to the striking modern design did not disappoint. The canopy seats by the windows are so creatively designed and comfortable. I recommend reserving this two-person seating for dates and romantic occasions. The seating is adorned with flowers on each side and you can enjoy a view of the street below while you eat. When the sun goes down, the floating clouds light up in a pinkish hue that are reflected in the windows. The interior design is so artistic. I thought the quality of the food was excellent and I was surprisingly full by the end of the night. Oftentimes, fine dining establishments don't give a lot of food, but at Stage, a tasty amuse bouche is served before the appetizers and entrees. We ordered the Beef Wellington and the Spiced Kurobuta Pork Chop. Both were well cooked and the meat tender. Yes, the food is pricey for the amount you get, but I thought paying for the entire dining experience I had was well worth it. For my birthday, I was served a large piece of German chocolate cake with a personalized birthday message written in chocolate glaze. I appreciated that extra effort to get my name when we were first seated so that it would be spelled correctly on the plate. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to make a birthday celebration extra special. read more

Interesting restaurant on the top floor of a furniture store/showroom. But don't let that fool you! We had really low expectations for the food going into it... but we were pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was solid. You're not going to find anything on the menu that is really different and innovative but this place does a good job executing on traditional dishes. I think I remember that they had a nice menu of wine and drinks as well - assuming it's because they have a wine bar called Amuse at the front of the restaurant near the entrance. This place is fabulous. I've taken 3 friends for their birthdays, one of which was the French prix fixe menu. The atmosphere is incredible and the food and vibe is lovely. Took my parents to dinner at Stage and they loved it. My mom's food allergies make it difficult for her to find places to eat, but Stage made her a wonderful mahi mahi and butternut squash meal. She normally doesn't eat much but ate her whole plate! We will definitely be back and we appreciate how Stage went above and beyond so we could have a nice meal out. Also, the garlic bread and misoyaki butterfish was banging! Plus free parking in a spacious lot is always appreciated. read more
