    Front door screendoor

Stan's work is exceptional. He was kind, easy to work with, and patient while I waited on HOA approval. He even suggested scheduling the install around my baby's nap time, which I hadn't thought of- I really appreciated his kindness. I looked into a few options beforehand, and he definitely offered the best value in the area. The whole process was smooth, and the screen door came out perfect--honestly exceeded my expectations. If you're in the Thousand Oaks area and need a screen door, I'd definitely recommend Stan.

We asked for a quote from My WIndow Solutions, got one that was quite good. We had explained the rationale for getting a replacement window (the leak). Parry sent over his crew right away to caulk around the existing one so we wouldn't get any incursion while waiting for the new one to arrive and get installed. Nice! For this job, I had also asked to have a custom window casing and deep windowsill built. We agreed that I'd buy the materials (a particular trim profile and hardwood species), prime them, and they'd do the cutting and installation. This collaboration worked perfectly.

Second, it was a green door, meaning, it was not totally cured and oozed out sap for 4 months. 6 months later, the door cracked. After several months, they agreed to a new door. When it came, it was not measured correctly so I had to wait another 6 months for the next door. so now the door is installed, I had to pay again to get it repainted. Guess what, 6 months later, that new door cracked. They will not replace the door so I have to live with a cracked door since they told me it is past warranty. their solution...pay another $1500 to install a fiberglass door as a replacement. I would not even give this company 1 star if I could.

SURE GLAD I DID! I did not realize how much I did not know about "doors"! I can't believe I didn't not do this sooner! James was super professional and direct. It was clear it was time for a replacement. Before choosing James, I got a quote from a very popular windows and doors company in Orange County. James, the owner of Lucero's Windows and Doors, not only offered the best price but was also extremely responsive. He mentioned that he previously worked as a Home Depot installer, which gave me confidence that he was properly trained. I was initially cautious because of the low number of reviews, but the consistent perfect scores from other customers made me optimistic. Now, after working with him, I can confidently say that Lucero's Windows and Doors is the real deal. Because our home required a custom-sized door, James came out twice to take measurements. After about two weeks, the custom entry door arrived, and he completed the installation in a single day. He told me our home was one of the oldest he's worked on, and the walls were very different from newer builds. Despite the challenges, he made everything fit perfectly, and the final result looks fantastic. We no longer feel a draft under the door, and it swings smoothly without any issues.

They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive option during our research, but they've proven to be reliable and well worth the cost. Recently, we needed to repair one of the screens after our pet ran into it, and their team was very accommodating in helping us out. The staff, especially Heather, were friendly and a pleasure to work with. Thank you!
