Very good communication and guidance during the sign up process and good information provided prior to arrival. The river experience was excellent. Our guides (Anna and Kaitlyn) were informative and entertaining during our 45 minute ride to the drop in near Glenwood Canyon. Our family felt very safe in their hands and we had a lot of fun on this trip. Anna was a fantastic guide and boat captain. After the excitement of the rapids we spent about another 1.5 hours floating and sometimes swimming. Highly recommend for people who haven't done it before.

The men who rented to us were incredibly rude from the get go. We made a prior reservation for two boards but when we arrived we asked to rent one more. They lied to us about the number of boards available to rent because they were too lazy to count them (we overheard their conversation saying they only pretended to count). Also, before we left they asked if we could be back by one and we said probably not because we were floating from pumphouse back to Racho. As river professionals I would assume they knew that it would take longer than two hours. Since they did not object we thought they wouldn't mind if we took our time. When we returned, they came up to us and instead of asking why we were late they immediately started yelling at us. Blaming us for wasting their day and being very sarcastic. I would SUP the Colorado River again but I will NEVER rent from SUPCO ever again.

Javier was an excellent guide - having us practice river techniques, walking back up with my husband to run the Class III sections a few times until my husband was able to clean it, and full of great knowledge. SUPCO's advanced trip was fantastic and in the area of river SUP'ing, it is hard to find things that are not just for beginners. It's definitely a large operation. Check in for us involved a 100 people or so. But they've got it down. Don't plan to bring much/anything with you honestly. You can choose wet suits, dry jackets etc... It was 75 degrees in July here so our family split between wet suits and dry jackets. The latter was the better choice. You take a 30 minute school bus ride and some quick safety instructions (thanks Erico!) And then get assigned to your boat. Ours included 8 of us and a guide. Honestly that was too much but okay. Our guide was Tristan who was fantastic. Funny and engaging with fun facts along the way. But more importantly you could tell he was taking safety seriously. We did the browns canyon ride and it was a good mix of slightly challenging for the kids and fun for the adults. All in all it was a great way to spend half a day!
