Fast and detailed responses. I was given a tentative quote for a cleaning on my split units after giving them the necessary information. It was not the cheapest but I was impressed by their timely responses and no sales pitch. Very straightforward. I was given several dates and times to choose from and they scheduled me. Two techs showed up, a little early which was perfect, they got right to it. Super polite, took their shoes off. My AC's were filthy and gross. They cleaned and sanitized without leaving any mess behind. My refrigerant was low with a suspected leak, however that will have to be a next month problem. They urged me to top off and fix the leak as soon as possible and let me know what would happen if I didn't fix it soon. Message received and understood. Thank you Ultimate Air Conditioning! Updated Review (05/08/2026): Woke up this morning to a wet spot on my couch. Can you guess what caused it? Our a/c is still leaking, even after someone was sent to remedy the situation. This is so unacceptable. I paid over $400 to get my a/c cleaned, and now I'll probably be stuck with an even bigger bill to get it repaired or replaced since something is clearly wrong with it now after this company 'cleaned' my a/c units. Buyer beware. Further Update (05/08/2026): The company contacted me via text, and it is clear they are not capable of properly assessing an a/c system prior to beginning a service nor are they capable of handling systems that drain into a single drain line. A quick Google search indicates that two a/c units sharing a single drain is not uncommon, so I fear for others who have the same type of system as me. While they remained professional in their communications at first (which was the primary reason for my initial revised 4-star review), it is apparent that they do not have the knowledge or skills to properly complete the job for which they are hired and they aren't willing to take accountability for damage that they caused. If they didn't know how to handle a system like ours, then they should not have performed the service in the first place. Our a/c units were in perfect working condition (no issues, no leaks) before they came to 'clean' it for us. We've scheduled to have another company assess the damage and repair it for us, which will now cost hundreds of dollars more than the initial cleaning cost. For this reason, it is not hard to see why a customer would give a 1-star review and a strong 'do not recommend' warning to others. Kimberly from Ultimate Air Conditioning was able to squeeze me into the last day of their AC Maintenance special even though we had 7 units. They arrived on time and started knocking out units one by one. They cleared the area, removed the outer housing/filters and cleaned everything, put a waterproof shroud around the unit and a drop cloth on the ground, applied coil cleaner and pressure washed the inside until the water ran clear. Sanitized the inside unit. After completing all of the inside units, they went outside and deep cleaned the outside units and inspected refrigerant levels on the units. One of our units was 3 lbs short out of 4, so Keahi gave us options on how to resolve. They are very meticulous while cleaning and courteous when going into your house. They had to work especially long trying to cleaning one of our units (filled an entire bucket), but the results were amazing. We look forward to using them again in the future. Mahalo! read more

One indoor unit was leaking water likely from a clogged drain line and poor maintenance. Kimberly honestly said to start with the cleaning and go from there. That was good advice and it fixed the issue. She didn't oversell anything else. The air smells fresh and clean and consistently blows cold. I will use them again. Home AC had a leak. Called UAC and the guy couldn't find the leak so he injected leak stop into our system. 1 year later our AC had a leak. Called UAC and the guy injected more leak stop. 1 year later AC had a leak. Called a new AC vendor. They found the leak. Its where two pipes connected but there's so much leak stop in our system we need to replace everything. Cost to replace is over $9,500. I'm not sure what we're gonna do now. read more

What can I say about UAC and the two techs that showed up, Keahi and Levi? They are just plain awesome, that's what. Let me first start by saying that I had wanted replace my AC since August - however, it was a pain trying to get someone to replace an window unit, especially in an HOA area. In the last week of December, an issue sprung up that required me to really change the AC at this point (the old AC wasn't draining properly and was dripping on my downstairs neighbor's AC). So I ended up putting a request for quote and of the 3 that messaged me (One company kept spamming, another one said they don't perform the service), only UAC (ULTIMATE Air Conditioning, not to be confused with another company) responded and with a real person at the other end. Ms. Kimberly was very helpful in answering all my questions and concerns. Not only that, she was able to provide me options that fit my budget. And so, we scheduled the installation after I chose the more premium option of a 10,000 BTU air conditioner to replace my existing 8,000 BTU. On the day of the install, I received a call while at the auto shop - Keahi and Levi we're en route to my area an could start earlier if I was available. Excellent news to hear considering I had re-scheduled this for later but was already finishing up at the auto shop. Perfect timing! Keahi and Levi are doers more so than talkers - I really appreciate this as someone who likes to just focus on the work without extra chit-chat. However, they are also very knowledgeable and could answer my questions fairly easily. In other words, if you have questions, please ask! They will answer! Honestly feels like you just hired your friends to help you install your AC, haha~They were also receptive to my requests or things that I pointed out, which is a huge plus (I asked for additional caulking around the unit to ensure the best seal as I saw some light poking through from outside near the base of the mounting area). On pricing, I won't say they're cheap and good (does not exist) and most DIYers would probably tell you it's a rip off but I ain't a DIYer so there's that. I am someone who values a quality product and excellent customer service, and that, is what was delivered to me. In reality, the price is reasonable once you start itemizing all the things they need to do to get your new AC up and running. It's all inclusive to a reasonable extent (think HOA) - they replaced the cracked glass panel with plexiglass, ensured proper mounting brackets and leveling, took and disposed of the old unit. Special shout out to Keahi for addressing a post-installation issue with expertise and professionalism which I say reflects highly on the company as a whole. It truly is hard to find honest companies but even harder to find people who are proud of the work they do and are willing to back it up. Would I recommend Ultimate Air Conditioning? 100% Scheduling? Too easy. Professionalism? High level. Friendly? 100% Price? Worth every penny. Would I hire them again? Absolutely. read more

I hired this company to clean the mold in my air conditioning system, including cleaning the air vents, ducts, and indoor units. The total quote was $2,800. Two workers arrived at my home around 9 a.m. and texted me at 1:30 p.m. saying the job was complete, taking a total of four hours. During inspection, I found that multiple vents and ducts were not cleaned, the indoor unit was left untouched, and many vents, ducts, and outlets still had a large amount of dust and mold. After noticing these issues, I pointed them out and requested that the cleaning work be completed before paying the bill. The workers from the cleaning company immediately became extremely aggressive (possibly because I was the only woman at home at the time) and demanded that I pay the bill immediately or they would not leave. Fearing for my safety, I decided to call the police. After mediation by the police, I paid $1,000 on-site, with the remaining balance to be paid once the rest of the work is completed. read more

AC unit needed cleaning, immediate response was positive, AC ran cold for 3 days then stopped. Guy had originally told my husband the unit needed refrigerant service,which was performed. Contacted the owner for the invoice and informed him of the issue with the unit not blowing cold air anymore and he said he'd send the guy back and return the money for the service, which he did. We were confused as to why wasn't our AC unit working and rather than give us our money back, why wouldn't they figure out what happened? They were the first to respond when I reached out to contact a different business via Yelp, so I decided to go with them without knowing much about them. One of the units in the split AC system in our condo wasn't blowing cold air. Steven was able to come in the very next day, which was awesome. When Steven came in, he said there was a leak in the compressor and the sensor was off. He added 2lbs of Freon and a leak seal, but the AC still didn't work. Then, he suggested that the leak was due to a small part that had to be replaced, which he could order for about $100 that would come in around four weeks. He charged us $400 for the visit and left, saying he would call us when the part came in. When I called the local Mitsubishi dealer, they quoted me around $70 for the part plus shipping, that would come within a few days. Two weeks later, all the ACs stopped working - they would automatically turn off after a minute or so. When I called Steven to let him know what happened, he said it sounded like something was wrong with the compressor, and that I would have to decide if I wanted to replace just the compressor or the entire outdoor unit and he'd call me back to let me know when he could come by. I decided to bring in two other companies separately to take a look and give me some second opinions. Both were concerned as the compressor had blown in a way that wasn't common and could have been caused by the leak seal (not supposed to be added to small systems like mine), although they stated it could have just been coincidental timing. I decided to replace the entire outdoor unit (which includes the part that Steven said was the issue), but even after that, the initial problematic AC still didn't blow cold air. Turns out, it is a part in that individual unit that is the problem. I never ended up hearing back from Steven or anyone from Ultimate Air Conditioning. He seems very nice and other than not getting back to me, they seem pretty responsive. Maybe would just be good to always get a second opinion, no matter what company you decide to go with! read more
