Spring Hill's best-kept secret. We found this place after frequenting "Gator's Dockside." We simply opened the door to look, liked what we saw (perhaps they renovated old Subway?). New flooring, new layout and especially refreshing was the smell of FRESH BAKED flatbread. Staff were extremely helpful and cheerful (excited and proud to share their products). We both ordered flatbread sandwich combinations (pesto chicken) suggested from their menu and soup. The meal was fresh, tasty, contained fresh herbs (which made it extra delicious). It left us satisfied but not bloated. This is the difference between chain food and true Mom and Pop stores like this! Owner (Andy?) was so pleasant that we repeatedly returned. They also make homemade bagels which were again, unlike anything we have purchased from other stores. Truly incredible and we actually leave you dreaming/daydreaming about returning. OK, the last time two times I was here I get the special salad, which is absolutely unbelievable but because it's so good I never wanna try anything else. This time I got the sandwich and salad combo for only $13 and I got the chicken and mozzarella sandwich and it is by far the best sandwich I've ever had in my entire life! Stopped here when passing through town. The owner was the only one there and he happily answered all our questions and even gave us a sample of the bagels that he had made fresh that day. We ordered a few flatbread sandwiches a pizza and a bowl. Everything was delicious! Food was fresh and came out fast despite him being the only person working at that time. He happily chatted with us and made sure we were happy with everything. We could not have picked a better spot to stop and we highly recommend giving it a try if you are in the area! read more

The owner of this establishment was so nice! He helped us pick the two best sandwhiches for us to try! He even put a half of each on our plates so we could share! The garlic chicken sandwhich and the pesto chicken sandwich were SO AMAZING! He makes everything there himself! You can tell how much he loves what he does through his food. AMAZING!!! My husband and I tried Standy's for lunch last week after a quick google search for sandwiches near us. I had heard about it from Facebook and decided let's try it! We are so glad we did!!! The owner is very friendly and told us all about the food. He recommended the garlic chicken melt. It was phenomenal! We had a wonderful lunch here today! The food selection is great and lots of healthier options than the usual fried fare. It's nice and clean. The owner is polite enough. The big problem is that the bread he uses are odd bagel wannabes. They are called bagels by the owner and he is defensive when asked "what are those"? This is one of my go to places for coffee and lunch dates with my friends. Don't worry I plan to bring my husband in soon. Lol. Great owner and a cozy atmosphere to just enjoy company with. The coffee has great flavor with no bitter aftertaste. It's also not overpowering either. I have ordered a lot off the menu but hand down, when in doubt order something flatbread related, you must try his flatbread, it's not rolled out to a paper thin piece that taste like eating a big cracker with toppings on top. You still feel like you are eating a sandwich because it's thick with good crisp. The spinach artichoke dip is also really good and comes with flatbread chips to eat it with. I love this place! This place has the best flatbreads around! Their white flatbread is absolutely divine! We've had different salads and each one has been fresh and tasty. We've also ordered the peanut butter smoothie and that was yummy too. Stopped in for breakfast one morning and grabbed a few breakfast sandwiches. They were equally delicious. This place is a hidden gem. It is in a great location and you should try it if you like sandwiches and flatbreads. Stan is the owner and he is a brilliant chef. He makes most things like salad dressing and sauce in house from scratch. He also is one of the friendliest people I have met. You can tell he is passionate about the food he cooks. We stopped into Standy's in Lakewood Plaza on 19 yesterday for lunch because the wait at Gator's was too long. The service was great!! Order at the counter, find a seat, and food is brought to your table. And it was really good; Buffalo chicken salad, tuna melt, and special salad did not disappoint! And the bread!!
