Our carpet installer recommended Stanley Steemer, but I was hesitant to use them as it seemed from their website that they dispatch from a central location instead of having a local presence in the community. I was glad I called! They were able to schedule the work for the next day, and the two-person team were who cleaned our carpet were professional and thorough. We inquired about other Stanley Steemer services (wood floors and leather couches in particular), and Greg provided a great explanation plus a recommended person to request if/when we call, as Greg's particular expertise was carpet and tile. Travis and his crew were the best. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciated their attention in a crisis - my 90 year old mom's washer over flowed and water covered half her house - a week before Christmas. Travis and his crew stayed on the job for six straight days drying out the house and moving around equipment. They are experts in this type of clean up. They tested moisture levels and monitored all aspects of the clean up including dealing with the insurance company. Thank you guys. Overall great experience! Lucky enough to catch the two rooms for $99 deal. We upgraded to the sanitizing clean for $60 additional dollars. Our carpets are soft, spot free, and smell great. (We have dogs so this is a miracle haha!) We are very happy with the outcome and will definitely use them again. read more

I have used Stanley Steemer to clean my carpets for years. They know what they are doing, and are customer-service oriented: very helpful and polite and fast and thorough. They are careful with my furniture and belongs. And I like that they only use water, not chemicals (unless you want extra treatments, which I don't because of allergies), and yet the way they do it, the carpet dries quickly. Stanley Steemer is the worst carpet cleaning company I have delt with. The guys were great however the cleaning process and/or service was horrible. I was concerned about the high traffic areas and stairs being dirty, they said they would take care of it. It's now been about three weeks since the cleaning and I see STRIPES on the stairs and high traffic areas. It appears their tools eject either hot water or steam from jets as it cleaned in a striped pattern...horrible job! Waste of $250 I have ever spent. DON'T USE STANLEY!!!!!! read more

If I could select zero stars, I would. I have owned my home for 18 years and had Stanley Steemer, COIT, and independent clean the house each year. This year I selected Stanley Steemer (scheduled via the website). The cleaner arrived and informed me he needed to dump his water into the clean out drain for my home ... I have no idea where that is and no carpet cleaner in 18 years has asked that. As the story unfolded, he had the dirty water from the previous job and could begin my job without dumping that dirty water ... into my bathroom or laundry room or what not. I do not want the dirty water from someone else in my house & as I said, I've never had a carpet cleaner need to dump their dirty water. If this is a requirement, it should be clearly disclosed before the appointment is confirmed. Frustratingly I sent him away ... now I have rooms that have been cleared of furniture, but the carpets have not been cleaned and I have to schedule another company & take another day off work. Never again will I do business with Stanley Steemer. read more
