I used the Stanley Steemer office in Boynton Beach. I am giving them a 3 as an average. Started with a 1 because they showed up 90 mins - AFTER - the time they had "guaranteed". I never received a call. In fact, I had to call 4 times to determine if anyone was going to show up - ever. And every time I called it was a "they will be there in 15 minutes". I had requested a 30 minute heads up as I don't really like sitting around for 5 hours waiting for a service professional to show up. Never received that courtesy call. I had made my appointment in advance so this was not a last minute request. I give them a 4.5 for trying to make amends. However, I was already completely upset. I would give them zero if I could. Min charge is $100 and they won't guarantee they can even get the pet stain out. Then customer service lady was very rude and basically told me tough- it's $100 min and you don't have to get the service done. Won't be using this company again. Poor service and rip off. read more

Juan Lobos was very professional and experienced. My tile floor was a mess as it was coated by wax and all the dirt was trapped underneath. Juan explained to me very clearly what should be done and did a test area to show the result. He used the right technique and removed almost all the wax. He was very detailed. He went over some places many times in order to remove all the wax. He did a great job and I am very pleased. read more

As a landlord, we wanted to make sure our carpets were cleaned for the next tenant. There was some kind of a mixup as our tenant said they had just been there. I called to explain and they quickly told me there was a money back gaurantee, so sure enough they came back and Sabas and Roy steam cleaned all the carpets at no additional charge. They were on time, professional and could not have been more courteous. Carpets looked as good as they could. Wished they were not quite as wet when done, but they dried okay. Stay away!! Terrible experience. Obviously the techs are trained to really upsell their service. It was our fault for falling for the sham, but in all my years of dealing with contractors and service people, I have never been forced into spending an extra $1500 to get the job that was originally quoted for $220. To top it off they left black fingerprints everywhere. Called the office the next day to explain my displeasure. Was told a supervisor would call me back on Monday. I'm still waiting. Not good! I had a discount voucher from Groupon for a/c duct cleaning and it was a good deal for the work that was done. The techs were nice at first but as soon as they knew we didn't want their sanitizing spray upgrade for another $20.00 per duct) they became very curt and rude. They made a huge mess in the house and did not ask me if I wanted to cover my pool table. Needless to say their clean up job was terrible on all the floors, they also forgot to clean up one room all together. When I went to ask them to finsh the job they had gone. No good bye, no thank you for your business- very rude. I won't use them again and certainly will not recommend them to my neighbors. Never again! read more

I have had Stanley Steemer clean my carpets twice. Both times I was extremely happy and would give it 5 stars. However, they always try to have you do additional things - but I guess that's business. I let them clean the bathroom floor tiles. That was an average job and would probably not bother to do it again. This I would give 3 stars. read more

His professional service and courteous manner made me feel secure and listened to. I'd rather wait a day or two to get Greg, but in all honesty, I've never had a technician that wasn't professional and would go out of their way to assist me and my requests. The air in my dad's house had become intolerable after a ceiling had collapsed and construction was done to replace pipes. No amount of normal cleaning and vacuuming had been effective in getting rid of the dusty odor. Stanley Steemer came in and cleaned the AC ducts, rugs and carpeting. The workmen were courteous and informative, they explained options, and they were honest enough to explain what could not be entirely remedied. They also showed me the incredible difference their vacuuming made in places the naked eye could not see had harbored dust. I hired Stanely Steemer to clean some carpet on a small staircase and the A/C unit and vents. They did an excellent job of cleaning the A/C unit. Because the carptet cleaning did not cost the full $99, the tech gave me a nice doormat that is excellent at trapping dirt. read more

The technicians were great and did a beautiful job cleaning our tile and carpets. They went the extra mile to deep clean, apply the enzyme sanitizer and scotch guard the carpets in our rental condo which took some abuse with recent rentals. Will definitely call again. read more

We started with a quote to clean my air ducts for $160. Then of course they had a special to deodorize sanitize each vent for an additional $30 eachn but because I lived in Century Village, that would be $20 each. Fine, right? Upon their arrival, the tech began by removing a register, taking a picture with his phone and explaining to me that I needed to have my ducts"sealed" for a mere $200 more. So my $160 job suddenly became $360. No mention of this potential when they made the appointment. I guess they save the best for last. I told them to leave. When I called to complain they told me the reason this wasn't mentioned prior to the tech's arrival was they couldn't estimate the cost of coverage until they measured it. They never measured. They took a picture through 1 register with a cell phone. I told them I would pay someone 2x as much rather than have them do anything for me. Wait until you get here, throw out an upcharge more than double the original. Bait the hook. No fish this time. Don't let yourself be the next fish!!! read more

Unfortunately I was let over promised and undelivered one too many times. Marco Guajardo, Sales Manager and Wendy Carrio promised me that they would ensure that their technicians would be at my place of employment promptly at 7am. I explained to them that a year and a half before I was promised the same thing and they ended up showing up at 9:45. They both ensured me that there would be no issues this time...once again, at 7:15 when I finally realized no one was coming, I had to call Marco. He called me back and said they would be there in 15 minutes, they arrived at 7:50. If that was not bad enough, Wendy flat out lied to her boss Marco, stating that I told her I could not do a Saturday as apparently my boss requested and did not know about. All calls are recorded so I will be having my IT guy reviewing. Unprofessional, they care nothing about the customer. There are many carpet cleaning professionals and we will be using someone else going forward. We have 4 offices in South Florida and would like to get them cleaned every couple of months if anyone can recommend someone other than this giant company with horrible customer service.
