As they called to let us now they were on the way and was impressed with all the information given and fed option to add in addition to carpets being cleaned. The careful set up of corner guards placed through out the areas and wet floor signage was great. Juhne took his time and worked effortless to get out stains and did one heck of a job. With 3 small boys in the house it's always a challenge to keep things clean! We have already scheduled him to do our tile next week that impress we are the last carpet company we used didn't do half the stuff that this gentleman has done Stanley Steemer not only do you have a fantastic employee your company is great and we will continue to use you. We are preparing our 27 year old house for sale & wanted a deep clean of the original tile and grout. Jose answered my questions regarding seal, top coat, etc. & then he demonstrated in 2 small areas a clean with a clear seal & a clean with a tinted seal. After I chose the tinted seal, he went right to work, nonstop for hours. When he was finished, our tile flooring looked as great as it did when we moved in decades ago. Awesome! Now about Jose. Yasser and Emilio were a pleasure to do business with. They took care in cleaning my 11 ducts. These ducts (I believe) were never cleaned since this house was built. Putting the vents back in was very trying since they never been touched since the house was built. I'm glad they worked as a team to put them back into place. The noise wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. I'm glad that they used these orange corner protectors to protect my furniture. Yasser was a trooper doing the system in the attic next. It was quite pretty hot up there even thought it was in the low 80's that day. The same goes for Emilio doing the laundry vent after. And lastly, both worked together cleaning the outside unit with precision and care. Much more thorough job than when an HVAC technician cleans the outside unit. I checked for any leaves and didn't find none. A/C companies tend to rush that part during the annual A/C maintenance as far as cleaning the bottom of the inside. Wow. Stanley Steemer is one of the worst carpet cleaners I have experienced in Las Vegas. I own multiple homes and have used everyone from veteran-owned mom and pops to Zerorez for over 20 years and have always been happy with the outcome. This was my first time using Stanley Steemer as I was looking for a real high quality job. What I got was so far from that i had to share... First, they charged more than twice what I've ever been charged by any other company, so I would expect superior quality and service. Second, they cleaned an entire house of 3000 sq ft of carpet in 2 hours with one person. The other companies I use always send two guys who typically spend 2-3 hours minimum (total 4-6 hours). Third, despite walking the house and pointing out very specific aspects I was focused on such as impressions in the carpet from furniture and dirty walk paths, each looked just as bad after, as it did before. Believe it or not, I went and scrubbed those spots for a few seconds and sure enough the result was far superior (see the before and after photos). Fourth, this guy didn't even use a scrubbing tool. He just steemed which is a very fast way to clean. Only way he could get in and out in 2 hours. In 20 years, I've never had a cleaner not use a scrubbing tool. Fifth, I asked the guy to call me when he was wrapping up so I could come review the work. I put my number in his phone. He never called. He just left. He also left 16 light switches on throughout the house. Sixth, I called Stanley Steemer and the dispatch was of no help and couldn't reach a supervisor. Later someone finally called back and arranged a visit by another technician the next day. That person was worse than the first. He was so lazy. He immediately stated he couldn't do anything to help, spent 15 minutes redoing a few spots (utilizing no electronic equipment to do so), stated he would fix all the areas where he made footsteps and then left without fixing the areas he trampled. The Regional Manager, Ana, attempted to help when she learned of wjst happened, but the best she could do was have the local Las Vegas branch provide a 15% off credit on a future service which would still be 80% more expensive than using a more qualified competitor, so I declined, given Its just embarrassing. The company failed to provide quality service, failed miserably with their customer service, and their technicians were the laziest two carpet cleaners I have ever encountered. In a service culture city like Las Vegas that doesn't fly. Especially when paying double the price of the other guys who do better jobs. Its unfortunate that a large conpany like this has such poor franchisees who they don't have any control over. Buyer beware. read more

We got a flyer in the mail and called Stanley Steemer. Told the office staff the job was for a carpet and sofa steam cleaning. Got a quote that included free cleaning of the closet rugs. Schedule was set. Got a reminder about the appointment. On the appointment day, the technician Sergio Lamas texted me when he was on his way. We got a company GPS map showing how close he was to our home. Sergio arrived within the set time window and worked all the way through the house. Our job was carpet cleaning in two bedrooms with cleaning of a 6' long fabric sofa. He got the ink and water stains out of the sofa cushions! We added a protectant to the job, for a reasonable charge. Sergio did offer several maintenance cleaning programs for the entire year, but we declined. Sergio was neat, professional. and seemed eager to show us his good work, which it was. We had no problems on this job, no bait and switch, no short cuts taken. Exactly why the five stars. read more

My first experience with Stanley Steemer was wonderful. The employee, Andy, of the Las Vegas location, arrived at my home and successfully upsold me to a package where all the areas that were cleaned today will be cleaned again for 3 additional times within a year. This includes the clean, protect, and deodorize. I was very happy with the bundle and decided to upgrade. He told me that he would leave his card with his phone number, and rather than calling through Stanley Steemer, that I could contact him directly and schedule. Andy never left his card or information. As I am now attempting to schedule my second go round, I contacted Stanley Steemer in an attempt to get in contact with Andy. Instead, I was contacted by Anna L. the Regional Officer Manager who advised to me that the verbal contract that was signed and paid for made between Andy and I is out of policy. She stated that the areas will be cleaned but without the protect and deodorize, as was promised and paid for. Upon demanding a refund due to breaking the contract that was made, I was offered under half of what I had originally paid for. One man came, he wasn't even here an hour, none of the furniture was moved so all the carpet could be cleaned and I was charged $125. I've never used anyone but Stanley but that will change. To charge me that much for what he DIDN'T do absolutely burns me up! He does explain that no matter what he came out here to do, even if it was just a chair I would be charged the same amount! Was told they would be here from 12-2. At 2 I was told they had to "stop for gas" and it would be 15 minutes. 2:51 they arrived and proceeded to tell me that the basic cleaning service was trash and I needed a deep cleaning. Not only did they show up 2+ hours past the show time (12-5pm), they also decided to use our toilet and leave it! I have no issue with using our bathroom, but why not flush? Additionally, they left boot marks throughout the place. I reached out to their customer service and was told I could only have the place recleaned, which I stated wouldn't work as we already moved out, or a $50 credit. I wanted the tile and grout cleaned in a house I am leasing and moving into. I filled out the online form and was good with the price quoted for the kitchen and the family room. When the Cleaning Tech arrived, he told me that what I thought was one room (the family room) was actually two, because of the size, and the price increased by over half. I would have sent him away, but I had a truck load of furniture coming the next day. It would be a good business model to state what the dimensions of a "room" is in the quote form; that's called honesty. As it was I had to go over the grout in the area between the stove and the island - I don't know if he didn't do it because it was another area or if he just didn't do it well. read more

So, one of the two guys were nice, talkative, but besides that fact, i don't really recommend this service. I was told each and every register would be removed and cleaned, and they were not. As far as cleanliness, i would expect a CLEANING COMPANY to clean up after themselves. Nope. I had the dryer vent cleaned out and they literally were gonna just leave the lint on the ground outside, i had to tell him he needs to clean it up. His answer was "the wind usually will take it away" but then he swept up the big stuff. Theres dirt, plaster, lint and insulation from the attic all over, AND THEY LEFT TOOLS HERE and left in a hurry like they had to leave. Doing inventory now. I had my airducts cleaned a couple of days ago. I called several companies to compare estimates. Not only was Stanley Steemer the cheapest, but they had a good reputation behind them (I've lived here in LV for 40 years), and I have them used them in the past, but not for duct cleaning. I thought the price was a lot at first, but compared to no-name companies, I realized the price was totally reasonable. I really didn't know what to expect from "duct cleaning." I was hoping for less dust in my house. I've lived here 30 years and never had the ducts cleaned. Well, this surpassed my expectations. Within one day the stuff that I used to dust or vacuum off daily wasn't there. Like the toaster over. That would be full of dust. And there was no to any computer dust. I'm not saying dust is gone forever, but what a difference. I have 6 cats and my first job in the morning was to vacuum the stairs. because it was a given that would be loaded with cat fur. I'm not saying there was no cat fur, but there was hardly any cat fur on the stairs. That went for the whole house. I'm kicking my ass for not having this done sooner. I'm the original owner and I've owned this house since 1993 and never had the vents cleaned. Shame on me. I was making my work harder, because I didn't want to spend the money. I live alone with 6 cats, so I will probably have this done every 2 or 3 years. Not to mention that before the cats there was a lot of dust, I just didn't realize now much. We had our vents and dryer vent cleaned. It's not cheap and I used them once before in a different state so I thought this was a good choice. It was not! They clearly didn't take some of the vent covers off so those weren't cleaned even though we paid for them. They left all the dryer lint outside wherever it landed and said they would try to clean it up but usually they leave it for the wind to take. They left insulation on the floor and didn't try to clean up. The worst part is they left tools and didn't take any of the plastic off the air exchange which is high on our ceiling. They said they aren't given small vacuums to clean up with. They left a mess in each room and we have a 5 bedroom house. I got a fixed price by two reps and had my property manager write a check for the full amount. I bought 2 beige used couches, a sofa and a love seat. I did my research on professional cleaners via YouTube and saw that there were way worse couches that were able to be completely cleaned. I felt comfortable that they'd be able to get the stains removed. Ended up paying around $250 for cleaning and deodorizing. One good thing about the company is how easy the booking process was. Two guys came in during the estimated time. They were both very nice however they were done in less than 30 minutes, which seemed very quick compared to other videos I watched online (but hey, maybe since it was two guys it was just faster right?...) They looked great right after, while they were still wet, but once the couches dried there were still plenty of stains and our couches smelled disgusting like a dirty, wet rag (worse than in the state that we bought them). I've been spraying febreeze on them to help with the odor but the smell is still pretty strong. I won't be a repeat customer. read more

They showed up to an apartment building with no portable device and the guy was generally perplexed at how to get his stuff into our very standard 2nd floor apartment. We took off work and the only solution was to reschedule with a portable device that costed $50 more for another day. Service techs were on time, respectful and professional. We had an area rug that had pet urine stains and wanted to get them out. They convinced me to get our 10x14 foot wool area washed at their Phoenix facility instead of just the normal on site extraction at a cost of $4/sq ft. This seemed reasonable to me as this is an expensive rug. 10 days later,as promised, the rug was delivered back to us and the techs helped place the rug and move furniture. Checked the area rug later that night with an ultraviolet light and the urine stains were still just as visible. I'm sure they did their job but I just expected better results. read more

I'd give it no stars if I could. And never again for this Stanley Steemer location that I have given my business to multiple times in the past! Summary: money over customers. I scheduled for service directly with the person who came to give an estimate for duct cleaning two to three weeks ahead of time. I cleared my schedule for the morning because the time they gave was 8am-12nn. I even spent the money to put my dog in day care for half a day because he gets anxious with the loud sounds. Eleven o'clock rolls around and no sign of them, so I called. The lady that answers the phone said, "You have an appointment with us today?" I should have known it was a bad sign. She puts me on hold for a few minutes and comes back to say she doesn't know what happened but my service never got scheduled...but that she spoke to the manager and there are 2 teams working close to me and because this was their mistake, she said they would make me their next stop. So I moved my other appointments further back because I was told it should be only 1-2 hours til someone gets to me. Well, more than 4-1/2 hours later I finally have someone knocking at my door. The guy who comes in says to me that I am the 5th job they've had today so I knew there was nothing done about putting me ahead despite it being their mistake! By then, I had to cancel all my appointments, spent the money for dog daycare but had to bring my dog home who was totally anxious during the whole ordeal, and my WHOLE day wasted because the job didn't get done until they drove away at 550pm!! I had called the office back at around 4pm to file a complaint and was told that nothing else can be done and that I would get a call back from the manager. Four days later, I get a call back. She said she was the General Manager. She HEARD me out, did apologize and said she would address it. As a manager myself, I know the drill well. But hearing is not the same as LISTENING. The understanding that you have cost someone their whole day, plus money and having ruined plans cannot be undone by offering someone a $50 off coupon for NEXT time. When a person is thinking about whether they even want to still call you next time, that is NOT the answer. Fair compensation for a $600 job that your company messed up should be corrected fairly on that same job, not for "next time." Waving a $50 coupon in someone's face and saying "well you don't have to use it, you can just give it to someone else, but its the best I can do for you" might work for some but to me, it shows you didn't care about that moment, you were only seeking to pacify rather than seeking to truly understand. The crew from SS just left. So now we have to wait 24 hours to enjoy the freshly cleaned carpets. The crew arrived at the scheduled time. They walked through the house, gave us an updated estimate, and got down to work. Every 20 mins or so they asked us to come in and take a look at the progress. They wrapped up our 3 bed 2bath house in less than 2 hours. Our tile and grout is clean and the carpets are fluffy and fresh. I knew every stain was not going to be gone or that the carpet was going to look brand new. But I'm now comfortable and ready to move in knowing that it was cleaned, deodorized, and scotch guarded. The crew was knowledgeable and professional at all times. I could see they took pride in their work. I have been using Stanley Steemer for about 15 years. They have always made it easy to schedule and shown up on time (during their 4 HOUR WINDOW) I scheduled an appointment weeks ago for April 16 between 8-12. At 11:00 I got a call from the tech stating that they were running late and would be here between 12-1. Not very happy because I got up at 6:30 to move all my stuff out of my house but I get, calls run longer then expected. At 12:35, still no Stanley Steemer so I call the 1800 number to cancel. I get off the phone only to receive a text that they are on their way and will be to my house by 12:46. I called the 1800 back immediately to see if they could still come and was told no, they already received the cancellation and we're on to the next call. Just frustrated by the fact that I scheduled weeks ago, waited around for hours before being told about the late arrival, almost to the end of the second arrival I still didn't hear from them and then I cancel and call back immediately only to find out it's too late. 3 stars because I think I should have had my appointment reinstated with less then 5 minutes of cancelling if they were already heading my way. I guess l should have waited until 1:00 before calling but at this point my entire day is wasted and I have other errands I need to get done. Looks like I'm going to spend my afternoon moving all my belongings back inside and off of beds. I'll see if zerorez will show up in their time frame... By the way, I'm the owner of a service business and understand running behind schedule so I'm not so much complaining about that but the fact that the call center is unaware that a tech is heading my way before canceling is crazy. read more

Overall they did a fairly decent job with some issues and took two visits to get it right. I saw their online special for 25% off for healthcare workers after I had already booked online. When I asked the worker on the day of the service he said he knew nothing about that promotion. It took him calling three different people before someone on their end confirmed I was right. I had booked them to clean, protect, and deodorize the carpets throughout as well as to do tile cleaning in several areas. Booking and scheduling was very easy online with clear pricing and many options to choose from, and appointments were available the next day in 4-5 hour time blocks. The cleaning process took about two hours on the day of the service, and the cleaner arrived at the beginning of the 12-5pm time window. They only sent one person to do the work. Online it mentioned they would move most furniture except beds and mirrored things and electronics, but the worker really didn't move anything except one dining table. I don't blame him too much as how could he move couches by himself, so I don't know why they sent only one person. He pointed out several dining room chairs and said it would be my responsibility to move those. Weird. So basically he did the carpets around the couches instead of moving them. Overall the carpets came out quite clean though they weren't terribly dirty to start with being only two years old. They didn't seem to have any crunchy residue after. He pointed out one small spot behind a door he couldn't get out which was no big deal as it's barely noticeable. The carpets took about 12 hours to dry with the air conditioning running intermittently. Although we got the deodorizing treatment option, the carpets didn't seem to have any particularly pleasant scent afterwards (though I don't know if they're supposed to). Supposedly the protective treatment option will keep the carpets cleaner. We'll see I guess. The tile floors looked OK initially, but on later inspection I could see a lot of film/haze and what looked like stains/marks on the floors. I called, and another worker came back to fix it the next day at no cost. He said the marks were water spots the previous worker left by improperly drying the tiles after cleaning them. Anyway, they looked much better after he went over them again. Interestingly, neither worker wore a mask initially and then only wore a mask intermittently while they were working. Overall the carpets came out decent, but he cleaned around everything instead of moving things as promised. The floors similarly came out good, but it's disappointing to require two trips to make it happen. read more
